“Great little spot. I was thrilled to discover this place. It's close to the bus stop where I was waiting for the bus. I went in to order take out and they had it ready before my bus came. I ordered a sweet corn tamal, fried plantains with cream only (no beans), and a cheese and loroco pupusa. I didn't eat any of it until I got to my hotel and it was all so good that I was bummed I hadn't ordered more.“
“Amazing authentic pupusas, order was walk-in and to-go, and my entire order was delicious and complete. There was a 30 minute wait due to the numerous orders before me, but that just speaks to the popularity of this amazing restaurant. The empanadas reminded me of my childhood and the horchata is perfectly Salvadoran. Very happy I stopped in here today.“
“The pupusas are the only thing I would buy here. They are very good and fairly priced. I tried the tacos once and was disappointed. Definitely not Mexican tacos, felt more like American tacos. The drinks are also a bit higher price than other places. Get the pupusas and skip the rest of the menu.“
“Love their pupusas and anything with plantains. This place is great all around, customer service included. Every time we call our order in they are friendly and accommodating. I do wish they were open a bit later, but the food is just too good to knock a star off for hours of operation.“
“This place needs new Employees, the one's there are tired ? ? bored not happy and right in the middle of them taking your order they'll stop and hug who ever come thru their employee only door.Hire new people please... and don't let this crew trained them.“
“Found this gem up the road from the house. First time trying El Salvadoran food and it did not miss. This place was known for its Papusas - pork cheese and beans, even made it nice for upcoming Valentine’s Day with a heart shape. This is a must try! Support local. We will definitely be back on the regular.“
“It's an older building so it needs some little upkeep but. It's small space. The food is great. The pupusas are delicious I always get the chicharron with cheese. They're piping freaking hot, even after 30 minutes after they've been picked up they're still super hot yet. But they're delicious tasty and homemade. Service is great They're always friendly when I'm placing my orders. Definitely need to visit them they're good“
“the service was lacking but i think they wete short staffed as i only saw 1 person handling the register being a server and i think she also went back to to help cook. so props to the lady. Food took a little long but it was good, seemed fresh, and well portioned. As previously stated the server literally only came 3 times to take our order, brong our drinks andvthen bring out food. She forgot some iteams so we got up and ask for water and missing iteams.Parking: parking is very limited we almost parked across the street and walk there lol“
“We stayed next door at the Great Wolf Lodge and were looking for dinner that wouldn't cost us an arm and a leg. We found this Pupuseria next door and decided to give it a try. I must say that we enjoyed the pupusas very much. They were delicious. The pricing was good and the size is that of your average pupusa. Our server was really nice and helped answer any questions that we had. He came constantly to see if we needed or wanted to order anything else. We actually did order a few more pupusas and a macho banana with condensed milk (which was delicious). I would definitely come back to eat here if I was in the area, or when we come back to the hotel next door. If you are staying at the GWL, just walk over, it's next door. No need to move your car from the crazy parking structure.“
“On recommendation from an El Salvodorena acquaintance, went to get some grub. Ordered the pupusas made from rice. The revueltas were great with generous curtido and some tasty salsas. Also tried the yuca frita. Very generous portions. Also very kind and helpful girl working the register and hand delivering orders to the waiting customers. Everything was made fresh to order. Will be back again!Thank you!“
