“garlic noodles with Pollo. first timer. absolutely delicious. we came right after their lunch rush and sat in their outdoor patio. Kylie, our server was so sweet & cute. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. I'm Asian, my boyfriend is white/Mexican ( he does not like Asian food) he ordered pork tacos yum! flama llama was perfect for us Asian/Peruvian infusion? who'd have thunk. I definitely recommend this place.“

“Clean and bright with plenty of indoor seating, great service and a hands on manager. A women owned business and it shows in the attention to details. My wife had a Tamarindo Margarita and i had an alcohol free beer and both were exceptional. I had the three taco platter with Vegan, Barbacoa, and Mushroom Asada Black Beans and Rice while my wife opted for a Gabacha and a Baja Taco and the Churro Ice Cream Sandwich for dessert. Love it and going bach for Taco Tuesday and a Brunch soon.“

“I was nervous about the flavors, mostly because I didn’t know what they were! But was able to taste test and decided on the Quattroberry and stracciatella. Delicious! Great price- $6.50 for two big scoops! Definitely wanted to go back. Try the dragon fruit/lemon one- super tart and so good!“

“Every time I visit San Diego, a breakfast at Konos on Pacific Beach is a must. Great food, friendly staff, fast service, and you can enjoy your food inside or across the way behind the gift shop at the outside eating area right above the beach and the beautiful ocean. Dec. 27, 2021“

“I am a big vietnamese coffee drinker and this place is amazing! Been going for years and they never disappoint. Lines get long on weekends but they move quickly (plus all the cute North Park dogs you get to pet in line doesn't hurt either)

“Food is good. They have 75 page menu, definitley can get lost in it. The cost on the Google serach is misleading. Most, if not all of the starters are > $20. The main course is also upwards of $25, some in the mid 30's. Portion sizes can be little more generous as the cost is high (IMO). The restaurant does provide complimentary dessert (not sure if they offer it to all the customers) our 1st time to the restaurant.“

“Taiwanese hot pot, you choose the ingredients and the broth, they promptly cook it for you. If you appreciate deep soup flavors, and love meat, you can eat here for $15-20 per person. Simple atmosphere, basic service. 5 stars because it’s delicious.“

“My family and I had such an incredible experience at Alforon! Samia, co-owner and sole waitress/hostess, laughed with us the entire time, sharing her candid recommendations and suggestions. The za'atar flatbread, chicken kebab, and aaysh essaraya (we ended up ordering two!) were particularly delightful. It was our first time, but it was incredibly telling that the rest of the guests were regulars (one couple was there for the third time that week) - the entire experience felt like we were having a meal at a beloved family member's home. I wish we lived in San Diego because I would be back in a heartbeat!“

“This is a cozy place that offers excellent food. Everything we had was excellent. The Sweet Corn and Pinion Soup, Patatas Bravas, Pork Adovada, and the New Mexico Mini Burger were all delicious. The dessert was out of this world. Chocolate Pots de Creme. Highly recommend making a reservation as this cozy place is very busy, but worth it.“

“Taste of Denmark is an absolute 10/10! From the moment we stepped in, we felt completely welcomed—the owner was incredibly friendly and took the time to walk us through authentic Danish cuisine.
We started with a simple appetizer that was insanely delicious, then shared three open-face sandwiches: the herring, pork, and roast beef. I’ve literally been dreaming about those sandwiches every day since.
We finished with fresh, out-of-the-oven Danishes—absolute chef’s kiss. 100/10, do not skip this place!“

“I attended Juniper & Ivy for a small post-wedding reception. The space was nice and sectioned off from the rest of the restaurant, although it was loud at times because it’s separated by a curtain. It did still feel private, which was great. Although I was the photographer at this wedding, the staff was still super nice and was able to get me a vegetarian meal. They also let the couple bring in their own cakes, which was great! I’d recommend this spot for a smaller reception for sure.“

“Peace Pies is the most healthful and best restaurant in San Diego hands-down! Your tummy will thank you for opting to go raw, whether it’s for your next breakfast, lunch or dinner. Between having multiple locations in the city and working with delivery services like DoorDash and UberEats and GrubHub, it’s never been easier to enjoy raw cuisine crafted by culinary champs. My personal favorite entrée has got to be a tossup between their pizza and their mushroom stroganoff.“

“Fabulous food served in a no-frills, casual atmosphere. The service was excellent and Chef Luciano Cibelli comes out of the kitchen and checks with every table to see how diners are doing. Great place to celebrate a special occasion. We enjoyed the seafood fettucini, chicken parmesian, and the catch of the day, which was sea bass on a bed of roasted vegetables, with beet purée and a delicious beurre blanc. Delish!“

“If you are looking for a true Italian experience in San Diego, look no further than Vinarius! We worked with Giuseppe (owner) to host our wedding celebration here back in March, 2023. From the beginning, he was amazing to work with. Incredibly positive and accommodating from the start, we couldn’t have asked for more. The wedding ceremony was planned to be outside and of course, it rained that day. Guiseppe and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowed us to have the small ceremony inside the restaurant on short notice and made an incredible meal to follow. Our guests were blown away and we couldn’t have been happier. We recommend Vinarius to everyone we know and that is thanks to Giuseppe and his awesome staff. Grazie mille!“
