About The Red Door

The Red Door offers a warm and cozy dining experience with exceptional service. The restaurant features a variety of dishes, including the popular Beef Wellington, which many guests find spot on. The chef often comes out to greet guests and check on their meals, adding a personal touch to the visit. The friendly staff provides knowledgeable service and suggests excellent apps and sides. The ambiance is laid back with dark colors, creating a relaxed atmosphere that is not too noisy, making it perfect for a casual dinner. Guests enjoy the lively vibe with live music, such as a Spanish guitar performance, on the other side of the building. The menu includes favorites like lasagna and eggplant parmesan, praised for their quality and flavor. The food is well-prepared, with dishes like the lasagna often described as the best, even compared to Italy. Other tempting options like raw Japanese scallops, risotto under herbed sea bass, and Sea Bass cooked to perfection are also available. Overall, The Red Door is a great place for a memorable meal, whether for a date night or celebrating a special occasion. Portions are generous, and the food quality makes it worth the price.

Fabulous food served in a no-frills, casual atmosphere. The service was excellent and Chef Luciano Cibelli comes out of the kitchen and checks with every table to see how diners are doing. Great place to celebrate a special occasion. We enjoyed the seafood fettucini, chicken parmesian, and the catch of the day, which was sea bass on a bed of roasted vegetables, with beet purée and a delicious beurre blanc. Delish!
The food was delicious, there was only one waitress who was also the hostess when we arrived for dinner, it made ordering drinks and food a bit delayed, but it was okay once we realized she was a one man show. The chef did come out and talk to the patrons at a certain point and you could tell he was quite proud of his work. The meals are family style, however this being our first time, we were unaware and had lots to take home.
I would definitely return to try the beef Wellington...read full review
What a fantastic meal. Every bite was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was beautiful.

The pastry on the baked dish was perfectly golden and flaky. I also really enjoyed the fresh, colorful mix of green beans and julienned vegetables served on the side. I cannot wait to return for another dinner.
