Start by saying the food is absolutely delicious. The sake was fantastic and the Japanese IPA hit the spot. The only issue with the place is the ambiance. The fish coolers on the bar were empty, which just created a barrier between us and the chef. If you're not using them, just take them out. Also, would be great if they played Japanese Christmas/rock music instead of American or something. The menu is a bit confusing, too. I absolutely loved this place. It's very true and authentic. The service was great. The ambiance is super chill and low key. It's definitely Michelin portions but completely worth it. I will be definitely coming back when the chefs come back from Japan for the omakase preselected chef menu
