“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“Consistently wonderful service and food! The lamb was some of the best I've ever had - perfectly seasoned and cooked. Both appetizers we had, the crab and shrimp stuffed mushrooms and slow roasted meatballs, were fabulous with big flavor. Portions were nicely sized and we felt we got great value for our money. Beautiful restaurant with a modern twist on old-time dark wood steakhouse decor. Great, lively bar with great wine selection as well. The Caymus Wine Flight was delicious and great value. “My husband and I recently visited San Diego from South Georgia during his work trip, and for the three days we were there, we had the pleasure of dining at Shorebird. From the moment we walked in, we experienced some of the best customer service we’ve had in a long time.

Karissa and Jimmy were the first smiling faces to welcome us, and they immediately made us feel like valued guests. Their warmth, genuine hospitality, and positive energy set the tone for an incredible experience.

Our server, Travis, was equally outstanding. He was personable, attentive, and made exceptional recommendations that absolutely did not disappoint. Every suggestion was spot-on, and his service truly elevated our dining experience.

In a time when top-tier customer service can feel like a lost art, these three young professionals reminded us what true hospitality looks like. They deserve to be recognized for going above and beyond.

And the food? Absolutely PHENOMENAL!

“They have an impressive drink selection and a massive portion of the beers are on tap. They have flights you can mix and match as well. The food menu is also extensive, along with having vegan and gluten sensitive options. Our waiter, Don, was absolutely fantastic. He was able to recommend multiple drinks I enjoyed and pointed us in the right direction with the food as well. The service was quick, the food was amazing, and everything is very reasonably priced. I don't think you can go wrong here.“

Not only did they have special menus for us, but we had a complete and very special experience start to finish.The staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable. We had what I would consider the best seats in the restaurant. We had such a great experience, that we canceled reservations at another restaurant on the same block for later in the week, so we could come back and try more. We tried Artifact on mothers day, they were busy so i am taking that into consideration. Their appetizers were 10/10. Solid drinks as well.
But the main dishes were so underwhelming. Came out cold and with unbalanced flavours.

The interior design and atmosphere is very nice!
Service was slow given the business but friendly overall.

“This place is just great. Come here every once in a while for lunch on the weekdays, but today, they had Chilaquiles with Carnitas. Totopos were really good, salsa was AMAZING & the Carnitas... Anyway, I really hope they have them more often!!!“

“iI you are looking for a fun atmosphere with yummy food and drinks, this is your place. This was our impromtu date night and we will be back. We had riesling, beer, spicy chicken wings, garlic noodles, and the yummiest over baked and glazed brussels sprouts. To top it off, we ordered the bread pudding cream brulee and I must say the flavors of the vanilla ice cream, bread pudding, chocolate, and creme brulee all melts in your mouth. get ready for a party 🥳 in your mouth. Highly recommended.“
