“Attended an event here last night and their catering menu was on point! The truffle mac and cheese was a personal fave because you could take the premium cheeses used to create it. I also really enjoyed the frisky fried cauliflower and the pretzel bites! The service was also great. The servers refilled my drinks and took my empty plates promptly. This restaurant is perfect for a date night or a small private event! Looks like it would be a really good vibe on a weekend as they also had a DJ. I would definitely recommend this place! “Ordered 4 Sliders: The Gnar 5/5 Amazing Teriyaki flavor punch, The Captain Jack 5/5 good sized shrimp and the chipotle aioli gave great flavor, The Little Munchies 4/5 pretty much your average Buffalo Chicken Slider but definitely flavorful, and the Little Sal 4/5 bacon whiskey jam took over which wasn't a bad thing but kindve wish I got it on the side or just gotten a classic slider as well if I wasn't stuffed. The price point is a little high, but the food is absolutely worth it. They greet you with a warm welcome, and it's a nice cozy little location, they also have a few seats on the patio out front. They have some massive burgers that hit the spot! My two personal favorites are the Billy Cheeseburger! It's a double smashburger. And if you're feeling like a big massive monster burger I highly recommend the Spurgeon Infit Burger... It has chicharron on it!! They also have incredible milkshakes. Highly recommend the mazepan milkshake! They also have some really tasty chicken tenders with some good dipping sauces. Parking is a little bit of a pain, and Pacific Beach recently added parking meters which makes it even more annoying.. but if you don't mind parking a few blocks away it's a nice short walk and it feels good before you go into grab a bite! Side note, they also have a restroom you can use if you ask for the code.“

Her upbeat attitude and approach really made the dinner great for my friend and I. When she would walk away from the table my guest and I would even point out how pleasant she was. My friend had the steak and frites and she loved the flavor and said it was a well balanced plate. I had the New Orleans Shrimp and it was very tasty. Both plates came with a side salad and wasn't overfilling. It was the perfect amount and they were both very good. I defintely would come back. “Ordered through Door Dash our first night in town. Never had their food before and would definitely order from here again. Sandwiches tasted great, but the steak and cheese seemed a little light on meat. Meltburger was cooked perfectly, not over done.We got the garlic Parmesan fries and they weren't good at all. We ordered them without spice for our kiddo, but it came with it anyway so she gave up after one bite. The spice looked like an oil blend that just made everything soggy and the raw garlic was overpowering for us, so can't recommend those. The toasted sandwiches were ridiculously crispy. It seriously tasted like I was at a restaurant and they came right from the kitchen . The cheese stayed gooey and the bread stayed crunchy- I don't know how they did that. We were so tired from a long flight that I forgot to take any pictures, but I think the portion sizes were reasonable and everything looked appetizing and assembled well, not just thrown together. We might order another time this week before we head home.“

“If this review shows as edited, that's because I accidentally clicked the post button before getting to writing down the ACTUAL review I had intended to do, a mistake on my part.We sat down for breakfast at about 10:00 AM today, and we were seated promptly, our waiter was a really friendly bald man whose name I forgot to ask. He was really attentive and came to check on us regularly, I also saw him checking up on other patrons.We ordered two cups of coffee and an order of the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs, one over medium, one over easy. The coffee was some of the best we've ever had at a restaurant. The chicken fried steak and home fried potatoes were nice and crispy the sausage gravy was delicious, and the potatoes came fried with red and green bell pepper and onion. The potatoes were crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside, incredibly flavorful. The eggs were cooked exactly as we wanted it.The staff was wonderful, everyone we interacted with was friendly, and they really paid attention to the customers. This place is pretty high up on my list of favorite places to eat in San Diego.We are DEFINITELY coming back to eat here again! It's nice to have a restaurant of this quality in my neighborhood and that is easy to walk to as there isn't many sit down restaurants in the area. I regret not coming to eat here sooner!“

The second time I got grilled veggies for an extra $3 and while they were delicious, I got three cauliflower heads and four large slices of squash. After seeing the fries portion AND paying an extra $3 for grilled veggies, I was disappointed in the portion size. I had to go for seconds , it is a spicy drink. I usually don't order spicy drink but this drink blew my mind; it was quite tasty. We also ordered some burgers. I ordered the black & blue burger: it was blackened seasoned beef patty, topped with blue cheese crumbles & buffalo sauce. On the side it had lettuce, tomatoes, onion and pickles. My friend ordered the burger of the month which was the "Pastramarami" which had beef patty, provolone cheese, sauerkraut and brown mustard. Both were cooked medium and burger meals came with a side of fries. We both liked our burgers. It was very fresh, the ingredients and fries were cooked perfectly. Burgers had lots of flavors. The Pattie's are from the Perennial Pastures ranch in North county and grass fed. The fries are insane, crispy, flavorful and compliments the burgers.
