I added some fries on the side and my drink of choice was the natural red wine. I paired these fantastic options with the outdoor seating that is located in the back. I chose this place because it's within walking distance of where I live. I'm glad it's nearby, because I'll be coming back again. It's my first time here by the way. 5 out of 5 ! Craft beers are holding line at $8 each. Might be the best cheesesteak in San Diego. I'm from the east coast, so I know about these things. Philly Frank's in San Marcos is close, Gaglione Brothers (stadium version) is a distant third. No gristle. The money pitch is the 1/2 cheesesteak ($8) with a side of tots ($6.50). “Great spot to have drinks with a friend or meet a first date! Love the owner Scott really down to earth guy. The DJ Corey is cool too, he will always get to you even if it's later in the night. He makes sure he calls up everyone that requests their song and is great at mixing up the playlist to satisfy all music tastes. However, be prepared to wait your turn for karaoke nights. If it's the weekend and very busy they may not have time to get to you by closing time. They will let you know when it's your turn tho and call you up to the stage. The lyrics are also displayed on a big screen and a tv in front of you. Overall great experiences here and fun times. Adrian, Matt, Charlie, Lexie or Alexa, Erik, and Aaron are all great bartenders and have very good communication and social interactions. I love their poki nacho and this is the only place that has one of my favorite drinks - grapefruit Radler! I've tried other appetizers such as chicken nacho, sliders, spinach dip, etc. The portion is big enough to share. The space is big to accommodate big groups. “Had such a great time at Johnny WAHOO Golf bar. The simulator has far more than just golf. I am a terrible golfer ?️♀️ an i was just as terrible with the simulator. But i did have a great time throwing a baseball at the screen. We got lucky and got 2 hours on a Thursday without a reservation. The bartender was so kind and friendly. Great beer and alcohol selection. Between the drinks, the reasonable price, and the different sports and games on the simulator this was a great way to spend 2 hours in gaslamp.“

“This is one of my new favorites. Great burgers, great atmosphere, and overall very pleasant experience. I have gotten burgers delivered several times and have always enjoyed them but this was my first time in. Place is small but very homey and inviting. The server who I think was also the owner, was pleasant and made us feel right at home. There were four of us and we all got burgers except for one of us and she got a homemade mac and cheese. Lots of great stuff on the menu, but the hits were the burgers. First of all you start out with the type of ground meat you would like, then the the weight starting at a third pound up to three quarters of a pound, then lots of toppings or what I called innings to go either on top of your burger or inside your burger. The toppings or innings are endless everything from the basic typical burger stuff to some pretty exotic stuff. They are Char-Broil burgers. Looks like all burgers come with one side and not just french fries there seemed to have been about 7 or 8 different things you could get on the side. Food was quick and hot presented well and delicious. They had what seemed to be an extensive bourbon selection, but none of us were drinking. But the walls were filled with lots of liquor. The owner/server, had a couple chihuahuas running around greeting people as well. Don't let this sway you from not going in, they were very pleasant very clean and very happy dogs making it feel even homeier. I would imagine if it's really busy the puppies do not have free roam. But it was a very nice addition. Someone else brought in their dog later as well. I was very happy as the three people I brought with me were from out of town and they raved about it as well. I am certain that the next time they are in town and want a burger that is where we are going. Very happy that they are close to me as I will be back again soon and tell others as well. A word of caution is that this place is upstairs and does not seem to be accessible to wheelchairs, however, there is a small dining room downstairs as well and I would be willing to bet that you can get served down there as well. The bonus to being upstairs is that we went just before sunset and had a wonderful view of that as well. Give this place a try if you like Char-Broil burgers and good atmosphere. There is a lot of other stuff on the menu so even if you got friends that you're going with that don't want a burger there's plenty of Americana fare to choose from. This place is good for kids there is a child's menu.“

“I decided to order takeout here because the Mr. Peabody's in Encinitas wasn't picking up & I live closer to this location on Friars Rd than the one located next to Moonlight Beach. Based on their menu, I ordered the NY Steak because it comes with potatoes and salad for under $20. The food was great but nothing mind-blowing. It's just your average diner food with super nice staff. Compared to the Encinitas location, the waitresses here look calm and relaxed. It was also a lot brighter & quieter so you're able to look at the menu without squinting. Unfortunately, they don't have live music in this location but they did have the basketball game playing on the television so I'll definitely be back to watch a game here sometime soon. “Real arcade experiences are hard to find. I don't mean kiddie casinos that give tickets so you can trade them for cheap prizes, I mean an arcade with cabinets and pinball as an end in and of themselves. Dyno Bar is that for me. I recommend the 60th Anniversary James Bond pinball machine, Golden Axe II (because 4-way beat-em-ups are great for meeting people) and the cabinet with tons of ROMs of games from the 70's to the 90's. Anytime I'm in San Diego, I'll find my way here for sure.“
