“Stopped in last night after a long work day…. Unbeknownst to me, their Thursday night dinner special (weekly) is a hefty sized dish of meatloaf and mash, paired with green beans! The food coma was real! Make sure you check the special board towards the back off the bar, or ya might miss out on a hidden gem! “I came here after work on a Friday night. It just so happen to be a Padres vs Dodgers game and this place was packed! I mean, for your regular local bar... it was poppin'!
Everyone had a good, positive vibe watching the game regardless of the rivalry (there was a mix of both fans here) they didn't have the jukebox playing, so it was strictly game time vibes!
But as soon as the game ended, Jaqui, the bartender at the time, turned the music UP!
Jaqui was the ONLY bartender serving the patrons all night! She not only was running around like crazy but she kept such an inviting, friendly smile the whole time! She made sure to keep a conversation going with her guests as well.
While I was here, I didn't hear of any complaints about the service. Jaqui made sure my refreshments 😜 were always full as well. She's by far the best I've seen yet!!
Overall, it's a cool bar to chill at during baseball games or even to have a night cap after work! & with Jaqui as your bartender, you'll leave here on a positive note and I bet you'll be back 😋😉“

“Came in on a whim around midnight with a few friends after closing my bar. The bartender was very sweet and made us some pretty decent shots. The draft beers were ice cold and priced well. Quite a few people for a week night. We shot some pool and stayed till last call. I hadn’t been there in over 15 years. Completely forgot what a great dive bar it was and has always been. I’ll definitely be coming back more often.“

“Your normal local dive bar.Crowd can be a little so so, however tends to not ever be packed.There was always some sort of celebration that would have a potluck, they were always friendly enough to ask you if you wanted to join.We would go for our quite date nights. Round 8 ish to 10 maybe 11. Pool, cheap drinks, interesting people watching and comfy clothes never stood out.“

“It was okay, it just took a little too long for the server to come back to check on us. It wasn't super crowded but I think they need more servers. The ones there were taking care of the inside tables where our group was AND the tables in the outside patio.“

“Just after Christmas, we were in town for the new year and the Seahawks had a football game against the 49ers so we went to our place bar and Grill and had a fantastic time. The people were great. The food was great. The owners were great. I highly highly recommend we have been to numerous Seahawks bars Across the United States and by far this one was the best.“

“My husband was in a business dinner and they walked some of gaslamp afterwards. After they parted ways, he needed to use the bathroom so he ran in the closest restaurant. They said he couldn't use it unless he was a customer. I totally get that but they were packed out so it made no sense.... Either way, he bought a chicken quesadilla to go. He brought it back to the room for me and our sons to have. It tasted good...until my youngest son spit out a piece of plastic he found inside the quesadilla. My Husband called about it the next day bc they were then closed. Their response was "oops sorry" like wth?! They then said "bring it back along with the plastic." No mention of a refund or investigation of how it happened. And by that point, room service had come and took the box of the rest of the food plus no one wanted to fight downtown traffic and pay to park to have them possibly offer us another quesadilla . 🙄 Again the food we did eat, minus the plastic, was good but the service wasn't.“

“I'm in town for work for a week. Flight got in late and it was close to the hotel and normal style food compared to the surrounding restaurants. I was pleasantly greeted and was seated right away. I ordered a beer and a club sandwich, beer was nice and cold. The sandwich was big like most clubs are, ended up take half back to the hotel since I was tired from a long day traveling.“

“I went to the Full Circle Saloon and they played this degrading song that said “A lap dance is better when the stripper is crying. Well I find it quite a thrill when she grinds me against her will.” More lyrics from this song say ” I told Bambi I wanted to skin her….. and wear her face like a mask. I have to admit it was even more of a turn-on when I found out she was doin’ me to buy baby formula.” This is a a song appropriate for serial killers and John’s who rape sex workers who are forced by their situation to work against their will. The bartender was angry and irritated with me when I asked to him to please turn it off. Two other female workers were unconcerned. The Female owner Michelle Bailey said she will not be a song N*** and did not offer to do anything about it. Oh She said there is a guy there that likes to play this song when he plays pool. If people there accept this happening I will vote by not going there.“

“My family and I were in search of a great burger and shake to honor my Dad on the anniversary of his passing. We considered In-N-Out, but are SO glad we changed our mind!

My son actually didn’t “love” the crispness of the single patty, and wouldn’t eat it. As we walked out, the owner came after us with a delicious hot dog dressed in ketchup just for him ❣ incredible food and service. Can’t wait to go back!“

“we have been going to this place for years. with that said service was outstanding and the food was great as expected. I had surgery on my Right Knee and still not that comfortable sitting at bench tables. no problem here they sat us at a table with both chairs and bench. Now that is great customer service. They listened and accommodated us for lunch. Thank you Islands for paying attention to detail. we will be back . oh and if you like chicken. Try their Sandpiper. I get it every time .“

“12/10 experience here. Can watch three different sporting events and two movies simultaneously. The food is fantastic (do yourself a favor and order the corn ribs). The pool is free. There’s a nice outdoor area with TVs and a large projector screen. I have no idea what else you could possibly need or want from a bar. I love it.“

“This club is tucked away downtown and I kind of enjoyed it myself. A lot of couples came in, dressed in similar clothes to one another and we’re cutting a rug on the dance floor. Line dancing couples - classics of R&B . The drinks were good. Had a great time.“

“This is the first time I’ve been somewhere quite like this. It’s a classic brewery and restaurant but it’s set in a massive space with multiple seating sections with large, excellent quality TVs. Beyond burger was a little uninspired but that’s my fault for getting something uninspiring. The beer was good, especially the coconut haze, and the spot looks like it would be electric during a major sporting event. I ended up watching curling. :-)“

“This place was a surprise. I went to watch the UFC fight since it was the closest place to my house showing the fight. This place may become one of my new weekend night without the kids hangout spots. Approximately 7 pool tables, good beers on tap, and a patio in the back to smoke and vape. Atmosphere was good, easy to make a few acquaintances while watching the fight and no issues. Check it out if you're in the area“

“This was our go-to spot before the game and it didn’t disappoint. Super fun atmosphere with interactive games to play with friends, and the sliders were actually really good. Tons of TVs so you don’t miss any of the action. The best part for me was the open rooftop — gave it that outdoor feel without having to deal with the heat. Great vibes all around!“
