“Off to mission valley an visit to yard house restaurant. I met a few friends at the yard house restaurant for a birthday lunch. Menu was large with many great choices. I ordered a BBQ chicken salad- it not only looked great, but tasted great too. My friends had a taco plate, fish and chips, an a chicken dish- all of which also lookes great! Prices were reasonable too. If you're interested the area, stop by an grab a bite!“

“I’m a mediocre pool player at best. However, my friends were excellent pool players wanted to meet up at pocket billiards and brew. The staff was really friendly and welcoming as were the patrons. The prices for pool and drinks were quite reasonable and we had an excellent time.! thank you“

“Bar was loud but there was so much going on. Music selection was great, just a little too loud. They have a bunch of events happening here (we came during a beer pong tournament), the arcade is awesome, had a good selection of games and they were super reasonably priced. Would go again!“

“I came here after work on a Friday night. It just so happen to be a Padres vs Dodgers game and this place was packed! I mean, for your regular local bar... it was poppin'!
Everyone had a good, positive vibe watching the game regardless of the rivalry (there was a mix of both fans here) they didn't have the jukebox playing, so it was strictly game time vibes!
But as soon as the game ended, Jaqui, the bartender at the time, turned the music UP!
Jaqui was the ONLY bartender serving the patrons all night! She not only was running around like crazy but she kept such an inviting, friendly smile the whole time! She made sure to keep a conversation going with her guests as well.
While I was here, I didn't hear of any complaints about the service. Jaqui made sure my refreshments 😜 were always full as well. She's by far the best I've seen yet!!
Overall, it's a cool bar to chill at during baseball games or even to have a night cap after work! & with Jaqui as your bartender, you'll leave here on a positive note and I bet you'll be back 😋😉“

“I found Angry Petes Pizza on istanstgram and had to try it out. The Pizza was good but the sauce was a little sweet for my taste. The onion rings was out of this world. looking to return soon. the Mackinaw island fudge is a plus.“

“Your normal local dive bar.Crowd can be a little so so, however tends to not ever be packed.There was always some sort of celebration that would have a potluck, they were always friendly enough to ask you if you wanted to join.We would go for our quite date nights. “My bf and I came twice to growlers in one week to watch the U of A play in the NCAA March madness games. The first time was during the week. There was a wait and we had drinks at the bar. We were seated maybe 20 minutes later. Our server was Larissa. We ordered food and everything came out relatively quickly. The burger was quality as one would expect paying $30. Overall good experience. The second time we came on Saturday. Again a wait, once again drinks at the bar and then seated 15 minutes later. Our server didn’t come for more than 15 minutes. Larissa recognized us and offered us beverages to start, then our actual server came by and seemed confused when we told her she had already taken our drink order. We ordered food and it took quite a bit longer than the first time we came. We understood as it was much busier on the weekend. Our server checked on us but she clearly was busy with maybe more tables than she could handle. Overall we like the food and cocktails even though it’s over priced. It’s definitely a great place to watch any sports. They actually turn the audio on for the games which was a plus. We will be back.“

“My husband was in a business dinner and they walked some of gaslamp afterwards. After they parted ways, he needed to use the bathroom so he ran in the closest restaurant. They said he couldn't use it unless he was a customer. I totally get that but they were packed out so it made no sense.... Either way, he bought a chicken quesadilla to go. He brought it back to the room for me and our sons to have. It tasted good...until my youngest son spit out a piece of plastic he found inside the quesadilla. My Husband called about it the next day bc they were then closed. Their response was "oops sorry" like wth?! They then said "bring it back along with the plastic." No mention of a refund or investigation of how it happened. And by that point, room service had come and took the box of the rest of the food plus no one wanted to fight downtown traffic and pay to park to have them possibly offer us another quesadilla . 🙄 Again the food we did eat, minus the plastic, was good but the service wasn't.“

“Favorite college neighborhood bar. Their natural wine selection is always on point as well as their beer selection. Food is delicious. I love that they always have seasonal menu items depending on what’s in season. Pool is free, AC kicks butt, and they have a great outdoor space if you ever did have a larger group. Dogs are also allowed which is nice if we ever wanna bring our pup.“

“Swing Social was one of the best bar and restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. My friends and I came to surprise a buddy with a Super Mario themed birthday and everything was perfect. Huge shoutout to Marshall for taking great care of us and making the night feel welcoming and fun. The bartender even added a couple of our song requests which made it even better. Drinks were amazing, food was great, and the music and atmosphere were on point. 10 out of 10 recommend and I’m already thinking about bringing my company here for a corporate party soon.“

“I went to the Full Circle Saloon and they played this degrading song that said “A lap dance is better when the stripper is crying. Well I find it quite a thrill when she grinds me against her will.” More lyrics from this song say ” I told Bambi I wanted to skin her….. and wear her face like a mask. I have to admit it was even more of a turn-on when I found out she was doin’ me to buy baby formula.” This is a a song appropriate for serial killers and John’s who rape sex workers who are forced by their situation to work against their will. The bartender was angry and irritated with me when I asked to him to please turn it off. Two other female workers were unconcerned. The Female owner Michelle Bailey said she will not be a song N*** and did not offer to do anything about it. Oh She said there is a guy there that likes to play this song when he plays pool. If people there accept this happening I will vote by not going there.“

“This is the first time I’ve been somewhere quite like this. It’s a classic brewery and restaurant but it’s set in a massive space with multiple seating sections with large, excellent quality TVs. Beyond burger was a little uninspired but that’s my fault for getting something uninspiring. The beer was good, especially the coconut haze, and the spot looks like it would be electric during a major sporting event. I ended up watching curling. :-)“

“we have been going to this place for years. with that said service was outstanding and the food was great as expected. I had surgery on my Right Knee and still not that comfortable sitting at bench tables. no problem here they sat us at a table with both chairs and bench. Now that is great customer service. They listened and accommodated us for lunch. Thank you Islands for paying attention to detail. we will be back . oh and if you like chicken. Try their Sandpiper. I get it every time .“

“Definitely not a place that gets going all night like a club would but a very cool and quaint spot to grab a drink with a group friends. Pool tables and a variety of drinks on tap. Bartenders are receptive as well. Juke Box is a plus to play music of one’s choice.It’s honestly kind of it’s own place in the middle of everything, but wouldn’t mind staying here for a night and drink the night away. The Elwood is nearby too.“
