“What a great place!! We stumbled across this place when we were out to dinner. The staff is friendly and kind. The owner Deano does all the work with the awesome bands they host on the weekends. From Country to hard rock. We haven’t heard one band we haven’t loved. If your looking for a great bar with great music this is the place. Everyone is welcome in this bar. Great atmosphere and you can even order food and eat while while you listen to fantastic music or play pool and watch sports. This is a true fabulous neighborhood bar. Come And enjoy. “I am a bit biased because I work for the Chico Club. I must say as time goes by I find myself more and more drawn into this place. It is a diverse crowd of neighborhood people out looking to have a drink and socialize. Not a real busy place which makes it easy to get a seat at the bar or a pool table to shoot pool with a friend or someone you just met. In the 6 months I have worked there I have seen a major increase in returning old and new patrons. I believe if you are in the mood for a drink or socializing with some of your La Mesa neighbors give The Chico a chance I promise you won't be let down.“

“service was great, food was delicious, only 2 things I would like to see is please... wipe the menus down BEFORE you take them to the table, and PLEASE could you clean the salt and pepper shakers other then that was a good experience“
“Great theater. Ask for your popcorn refill at the same time you get your extra large popcorn (which is cheaper than the smaller sizes). Best prices for first run movies. Go on Tuesdays; tickets, XL popcorn, and chicken tenders are all half price.“

“Decided to check this place out with a friend real fast, and we were satisfied. The games were half off. The staff guy was really sweet & fun and the music was really good. It's a small spot, but there are lots of drinks, so it's definitely worth checking out! The baja Blast Seltzer was one of my favorites !!!!“
