“Wow! I came here for New Year's Eve with my boyfriend and we both had a great time. They have something for everyone, the people were friendly and fun to talk to, and we both enjoyed it. They have board games too and a small back patio. I can't wait to go back.“
“Phenomenal food and service!!! I came in for a late lunch and was greeted by the owner Miguel, who lured me in with a delicious smelling steak he was cooking up on their outdoor smoker grill. Brooke, the waitress and bartender gave exceptional service! I mentioned I liked the olives in my bloodymary so she totally surprised me with an extra full skewer of them! Their bloodymary mix is homemade, I asked for mine to be spicy and she did it very well! I ordered the verde pozole that was fantastic and freshly made with all the fixings - Freddy is an excellent chef! I also ordered the elote bites and I agree with the menu description - an absolute favorite! Moderate sized bites of elote goodness sprinkled with some cotija and a homemade creamy chipotle sauce for dipping. I also ordered their wings and went with the mango habenero sauce that was absolutely delicious - perfect mix of heat & sweet over savory delicious crispy wings, served with an ample portion of homemade delicious ranch dressing good enough to scrape the last bite of! When I saw the sign. American and Mexican food, I was unsure if it'd be disappointing Americanized Mexican dishes...nope, the sign is exactly correct, their menu is a separate mix of delicious authentic GREAT Mexican food AND delicious homemade GREAT American food. The atmosphere is perfect to chill and catch any type of TV you'd like to watch, mix of sports, classic movies, the news, and more. Steele 94 offers a wide range of exquisite bourbons, whiskeys, and other fine liquor classics and draft beers. But wait there's more.... WATER IS FILTERED AND FRESH!!! Most places serve tap water that tastes like chemicals, Steele 94 serves refreshing filtered water that tastes like you're drinking straight from a mountain spring - no residues or floating chemicals in the water or ice! Nestled in a quaint area at the bottom of the mountains, there are other nearby great and unbeatable shopping for other goods such as produce and farm supplies, and of course my favorite veterinarian is right across the street, Steele Canyon Vet. I could go on and on raving about this place, but it's better to come and get the best dining experience for yourself!!! Plenty of parking available, and very affordable for such exceptional quality. See pics below for current menu and foodie pics :)“
“RRRRRRREEEEEDDDDDDD!!!! She deserves a raise, and I mean that. She is a great face to the Joycee's bar. She let me take all the free s*** and let me kick my husbands a** In pool at 1 am.. AND CHANGED THE MUSIC. CHANGED THE WHOLE F****** VIBE WHEN WE SHOWED UP. So she deserved ANY kind of tip from me.. whether it was from ME.. or from HIM.. I Had a great time and she knows who it is from. The food was great. This bar is off the chain and cannot top any other bar else. Thank RED. Thank you. JOYCEE'S!!!“
“tengo 24 años y me ENCANTA venir aqui con mis amigas!!! drinks are super good AND affordable there is always bottle service disc, live music, reggaeton and a lot of other "theme" nights! Pablo has got to be the best party host and Yanitza the best hostess They always make me feel well taken care of and not only me but everyone I ever bring here. Let's not forget about the SUPER good security. Has never been disrespectful Ive aways felt protected as a girl that parties alone they are A1 for sure specially Daniel and Mike ... simply the best "bar/nightclub" security I've ever encountered. My friend lost his phone and Daniel took his time to really settle us down and ensure we were okay Mike is just amazing jajajaja funny respectful guy please give this place a chance it deserves it“
“Best place to go for dinner in San Diego. Authentic French cuisine, excellent winery and bar and a great service. We've been here several times now whenever we have visited San Diego and have never been disappointed. Thank you Ludo and team!“
“The cashier recommended the taco platter because i was so overwhelmed by the complete plant based ingredient menu, I didn't know where to start, do I really enjoyed the taco platter with tree variations of the taco ingredients ,all plant based that completely out did any conventional Mexican food i had ever had, and the energy i felt afterwards was great in comparison to wanting to pass out from food coma“
“atmosphere needs a 10 star option because this is truly one of the best spots in SD for a great theme.the drinks are a bit pricey $15-19 but worth the ambiance of the bar. The food is also high quality. mostly appetizers and finger food but presented and taste amazing. Great date night spot.“
“One of the cooler speakeasy-esque bars that I’ve been to. It’s located behind some old school doors which we didn’t realize at first but once inside, the vibe is spot on. The cocktails were delicious and high quality. They’re also playing some great tunes which sets the mood nicely. Would recommend if you’re in the area!“
“Very trendy place in Barrio Logan. Our waitress was awesome! It was 6 of us and she helped pick some tasty drinks to get our girls night out started. Came here in a Friday night, it was pretty busy but we had reservations so they sat us quick!! Good place to just drink and have fun!“
“Definitely make a reservation. Totally hip place. Great service. Food is OK. Sadly, the swordfish was not tasty at all. In fact, it was very watery. Definitely not five star tries to be a little too Fancy and a little too much seasoning. And a whole lot of smoky of everything. Cocktails are incredible. Bartender was so good. Decor is just basic. But it’s a very busy place with a really nice little patio out front.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly based on menu and Quaintance of the restaurant maybe at lunchtime it is but not for dinner“
“This casual eatery offers burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and good beer at great value. The laid-back atmosphere includes indoor and outdoor seating and heaters for chilly weather.Kid-friendliness: Casual spot with picnic tables and fenced in so kids can play around a bit.“
“My experience was fantastic, will definitely be returning! Our food was delicious and our server Jaiden was amazing, she made us feel right at home and was very friendly. I had the firecrackers and the jalapeño burger which were both great while enjoying the padres game. Highly recommend!“
“Love this place. Their BBQ chicken pizza is my favorite. It's always the perfect crisp. I love all the toppings in this pizza. Very consistent. And their sweet chili & lemon pepper wings are really good. Packed with flavor. Tried the wagyu sliders but they were NOT a hit. Wasn't flavorful, kinda blain, basic and were so sad the tater tots had no flavor at all. But hella crispy. Atmosphere is cool, tvs and little bar top. The staff is ok. Overall, I'll keep going back.“
“still here at the moment. this place is a cozy, hole in the wall establishment. the smash burger they have here is intoxicating all on it's own, it literally melts in your mouth. I added some fries on the side and my drink of choice was the natural red wine. I paired these fantastic options with the outdoor seating that is located in the back. I chose this place because it's within walking distance of where I live. I'm glad it's nearby, because I'll be coming back again. It's my first time here by the way. 5 out of 5 ! Also, let me add that the music playlist they have in rotation is curated perfectly well. Good vibes to say the least.“
“I recommend!! Definitely a hidden gem! ?The food and service were great! Our server Sam was very attentive and kind.We got the Gnocchi Urbino which is gnocchi with white sauce, sausage, mushroom in a thick bread bowl. It was delicious and flavorful !! Rosemary was a nice touch. Perfect for sharing ?We also got the wings for happy hour and they were soooo yummy!Love the concept and unique combinations :)“
“The best drip coffee in the area. Finally, I found somewhere to get a full-bodied drip coffee! Most drip Java in San Diego is fruity with sour notes. This little coffee shop stands out. They seem too small to have a kitchen, but this wedged shaped building has a lot. Coffee, pastries, food, roasted beans, loose-leaf teas, and merch everything you might need.I will be back!“
“VERY GOOD PHOOOOOOOOOOVery good.Better than any pho that I had in Pittsburgh. The sprouts were super fresh and the portion, oh my, was definitely filling.Ordering was a little bit pushy but I think it might because they were about to get super busy. We went in 1 minute after they opened (noon).Broth was so good that i drank it all.“
“This is the favorite sports bar spot in town for my husband and I! Not only do they have fantastic seating options but the food is insane (in the best way)! I could rave about their fries forever - and I probably will. Especially the animal fries. Service has always been efficient and friendly!“
“I went twice. Great espresso martini for just $5 at happy hour. And the best damn bacon burger I’ve ever had: a smash burger with bacon added. Heavenly. Amazing but very strong garlic fries.Ambience was great earlier in the afternoon but too loud in the evening with people + music. Ambient lighting. Good vibes.“
“I ordered it online and they were quick to complete my order. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and kids chicken quesadilla. The food was great. In regards to the pizza, the crust was thin just like I like it. The sauce was flavorful, and there was enough pepperoni on it. That's for the quesadillas. There were three Chicken quesadillas. I asked for only Monterey Jack cheese on it because they put both of them according to what I read, and they followed the instructions completely. I appreciate that because my great niece does not like the orange cheese as she calls it lol.“
“Dropped in at Tower Bar after happy hour at Key and Cleaver. Met Mick and he was so cool. He played yacht rock on the tele for us old farts. The Eggo liqueur from Gatlinburg, TN was the bomb. Had the waffle, syrup and butter taste to a T. Friendly folks at the bar. Such a cool vibe. We'll definitely return.“
“Came and ate here and had a few slushies. I had the Mexican Firing Squad, my husband had the Ube Colada. Both were delightful! To eat I had the Shrimp Fried Rice and my husband had the Fancy Grilled Cheese and added chicken. The food was delicious! Especially the SFR! It was a very large portion. A friend of ours had the wedge salad and it was huge and looked ? delicious. I will be ordering one next time. They had great music going on amd the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back!“
“If you want a divey bar/pub, this is definitely guys up front are very friendly and let us know what games were sprawled around their bar. Only and beer and wine here it seems, but had no problem with that. Ample seating, fun vibe overall. There was a distinct smell all around the bar I couldn’t locate where it was, though.“
“I just celebrated my birthday in the most epic way at Deano's! Reserved a huge booth to see the 80z Allstars band with my friends! Dean, the bartenders, and barback work so hard to ensure every guest is having a great time! Deano's is now my go-to party place!“
“Great spot with tasty cocktails. I requested an off menu cocktail “Carter Beats The Devil” and the bartender handled it like a champ. Then recommended something of his own which was delicious. Definitely a craft cocktail spot and will be back.“
“My wife and I are big fans of all things Tiki and we've been wanting to go to The Luau for awhile now. Last night we finally went and it was so worth it. We were greeted the moment we entered the door. The bar was full so we went to the outside patio which was decorated perfectly with tiki water fountains and vintage longboard surf boards. Our bartender John was amazing and lit the spiral propane heater as it was a bit cold outside. He got us our two Mai Tai drinks (they were amazing by the way)super quick and kept our bowl of Goldfish and pretzels full at all times. John was such an attentive bartender and made sure we always had everything we needed including waters. Mind you it was very busy and he had a lot of other customers to serve but in spite of that he managed to check on us quite often. As the evening got later the inside tiki bar was less crowded and so we went inside. It was decorated so cool and a very warm and friendly atmosphere. We met the other bartender Tony and he was very friendly and attentive as well. Great experience we will definitely be back. Excellent tiki drinks in perfect tiki mugs at a reasonable price. We were both so happy we went to " The Luau"“
“This place is hoppin! Monday nights are a great night to come here and learn to line dance, or just watch all the beautiful people line dance. The crowd was mixed with young people and their parents ( I think) I know I look like someone's parent. My kid would never be seen with me here, but anyway. I had an imperial stout and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I used to be a stout/porter/dark beer girl. Ok, I was a beer babe back in the day. But nowadays, I only drink tequila or seltzers for the carb savings. On this Monday, I chose to break my new pattern and enjoy one of my old favorites. The Imperial stout had good carbonation, was full flavored but not over powering or bitter. It was excellent if I might say. I saw that they have events every night of the week, and this place is very popular, trendy, and happening for a SANTEE establishment.“
“Vegas to San Diego for a Bachelorette trip, and this was on the list for dinner our first night ! We had an absolute BLAST ! This was most of ours first time to a drag show, and it did not disappoint! You start off waiting in line for drinks at the bar. I ordered a Chocolatini, and it was really good, like a dessert drink. Most drinks are around $13-$15. Pretty average. You then get seated at your table. The Drag queens are the ones who seat you and take your order, so it was fun to interact with them. The food was delicious! Everyone gets a salad appetizer to start. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger & fries. Then a Cheesecake sampler came out for the table to share for dessert. The show itself was great ! The Drag queens were phenomenal. Loved their dancing, outfits, and personalities that really shined through. They were hilarious and very entertaining!Very interactive with the crowd as well. Everyone celebrating a birthday or Bachelorette got a crown and brought on stage for a photo. The night ended with 3 games of Bingo hosted by one of the Drag queens as well.Overall great time! Would 100% recommend!“
“Amazing Cider, great service, plenty of things to do while you enjoy your cider. Tons of flavors and they're all very very good. Play some card games or board games or watch the football game on TV while enjoying your cider. I 10/10 recommend“
“A few weeks ago a group of us met at Cantina Mayahuel for some drinks and appetizers.I have a limited diet due to three health issues and needed to order low carb, no sugar and no gluten. While the menu is not extensive, I didn't have any trouble with finding something that could accommodate my dietary restrictions for food and drinks. For dinner I had chips and guacamole and veggie tacos, and for a drink, I had a skinny margarita without agave and just added a Splenda. Even though I had a tequila margarita and not Mescal, it had a very nice but light, hint of smokey flavor. They make everything in-house and it makes the drinks extra special. While I enjoyed my drinks, two of our friends we were with who have been here before thought that there was a slight lack in continuity with how the margaritas tasted, but were still good.I would be happy to come back for more drinks and appetizers in the future.“
“We love this local, quaint restaurant! It’s quiet with excellent food and incredible service. Our favorite foods are the short rib taco appetizer, Waygu & truffle ravioli appetizer, and the duck confit. The oysters are good too!Highly recommend Oyster & Pearl for a quiet date night or special dinner out.“
“Came here for lunch with a coworker and had their nachos and their fish and chips. I also ordered the chicken wings which were really good. The nachos were good and so were the toppings. The fish and chips were good and came with brussels sprouts that were pretty tasty. The staff is friendly here and the ambience is cute. Will definitely come back again to try more of their menu. Not to mention the prices were great too.“
“We're always looking for great Sunday brunch places. Adding this one to the list! Great mix of food choices with a modern fusion atmosphere. They also change the menu every 90 days which adds to the right of options each time you visit.“
“Visiting this lodge was delightful! Our visit was on a Friday -- with dinner & Karaoke happening that evening. Our group of 16 were welcomed with open arms by all officers & official members as we ate our dinner. The bartenders were friendly and served up our requests fast & precise. We were taken our a tour of the lodge which was remarkably large and beautiful. The parking was equipped for an abundance of parking for large events. Karaoke was fun and the room was full! Thank you for the warm welcome!“
“Loved the bar. Went for one of the whiskey experiences on a Wednesday night. Loved the presentation and the tasting. They start the tasting with an old fashioned. Afterwards went to the bar and had a whiskey sour which was delicious as well.“
“Visited on 12/16/23 with a buddy after hiking Mission Trails. Had the AJ IPA and he had the rotating IPA. Both were tasty. We also split the golden stout. Pours gold in color, not the usual darker color associated with a stout. Very tasty and my buddy said with hints of caramel. Andrew the bartender was cool and laid back. You need to check this place out.“
“The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, from the staff to the customers. It's never a dull moment, with TV's in all directions, to catch any sporting event's that may be on that day.. Most importantly it's the spot where I met my wife, 3 years strong now and we always look forward for our next stop @overthetapnc“
“The service was cordial, and the atmosphere was OK. The restaurant smells more like a bar. We had the french toast, which really seemed to be bread dipped in whipped eggs and milk, and grilled in oil. It lacked sweetness and cinnamon. The eggs and bacon we ordered on the side were very good and fresh. Cracker Barrel does a better breakfast.“
“I was in town for a little over a month, and Little Miss quicky became my local. Great staff, great beer, and great atmosphere. I could not recommend more highly. The other two breweries within walking distance don't hold a candle in comparison. I will definitely miss Little Miss!“
“Solid food choices that are well executed. The croissant as a side item was a worth upgrade! Breakfast quesadilla was OK, avocado toast the real hero. Good drink options. Nice staff, clean restaurant. Ambiance is lacking but overall a solid place to “
“I came in here on a quiet Thursday night and was greeted with an amazing crowd doing karaoke. Like my visit to an Irish Bar in Boston, an Irish Bar knows fun!! Drinks are great and so much ample space outside if you want to sit down and catch up with a friend amongst the pandemonium inside. Bartenders are very friendly and attentive! Will come back soon!“
“Live Wire is a hidden gem tucked away in the neighborhood, and if you're into the laidback, dark, and grungy dive bar vibe, this place is a must-visit. One of the things that struck me immediately was the ambiance – it's unpretentious, cozy, and gives off that perfect dive bar feel. The heavy pours here are legendary, and what's even better is that it won't break the bank. This place is one of the few in the area where you can actually enjoy your drinks without feeling like your wallet's on a diet. One thing that sets Live Wire apart is that it's an affordable neighborhood bar that doesn't discriminate against cashless folks – a rarity these days. It's a small space but always filled with a fun-loving crowd, and the music they play adds to the lively environment. Plus, the fact that it's right next to Luigi's pizza is a double win. Live Wire is a fantastic place to hang out, whether you're unwinding after a long day or looking for a low-key night out. If you're in the neighborhood, I'd definitely recommend swinging by for a drink or two – or three. Cheers!“
“We enjoyed a very nice experience at Hooleys, for dinner. We were greeted promptly upon arrival and seated at a nice booth. Our server, Lexi was at our table quickly to get drink orders. Our food and drink arrived quickly. Everything was prepared well. We had a Calamari appetizer, followed by a Beef Stew Boxty and Corn Beef with Cabbage. Portions were plentiful, with leftovers for another meal. Wednesday is also half price bottle wine night, which was a big plus.“
“We are regulars here because the service is top notch, the food/sushi is excellent, and the bartenders remember us and our favorite drinks every time we grab a seat at the bar. The Rose Roll is second to none, the Ramen is bomb, and my partner loves the Lemon Cilantro Roll as well. It can get really busy late night on the weekends and sushi during these times can take a long time to come out (understandably) so plan ahead, be patient and kind. Mahalo!Parking: The ground floor of the parking structure next door is free for restaurant parking! And it has EV Chargers!“
“The staff is fantastic, the pool was free and the drinks are original and priced right!Parking: I was informed the tow truck doesn’t check the Arco parking lot abutting Gilly’s building until 7:pm. I’ve parked there often to do work and never any problems. Always blaze before 7pm!“
“Great experience at Modern Times Flavordome. Tron poured us drinks and was super knowledgeable about the entire menu. I tried all the hazy IPAs in a flight which was pretty good. I then had a pint of orderville which is my favorite. We were able to bring in our pizza from across the street and eat it inside.“
“Four of us went on Thursday at 4:30, wasn't crowded yet. I had a mai tai and it was VERY strong, but tasted good. We ordered food from JJ Island Grind which is attached to the bar. Their food is outstanding. All in all, we loved the vibe, the drinks and the food!“
“Food is great, atmosphere is cozy, but what sets this place apart is the service. Mymy and Zoey are the cutest and most welcoming. If you are indecisive, don’t be afraid to let them guide you through the menu, as they are knowledgeable, honest, and fun! Burger is bomb, soup of the day always delicious.“
“This gem in the South Bay has it all: great selections, well-curated, cool bartenders brimming with intellect, pool tables, smoking deck, friendly regulars. Don’t bother going downtown or North County. Right out of a John Fante novel or Jim Thompson’s Now and on Earth.“
“The bartender and employees working there are nice and respectful. They wanted me to feel like I'm welcome there. One employee even asked if I wanted to play pool cause the pool table was free that night. Will definitely be my bar from now on.Parking: Late at night, you can park in the restaurant parking lot across the street. There are only a few parking spaces in the front.“
