Based on the reviews, McGuffie's Live is a recently renovated venue for live music with a nice sound system. It has a long bar with plenty of seats, table seating, and a pool table. The bartenders are attentive and craft delicious cocktails. There is a low-cost happy hour, with a Classic Old Fashioned with Early Times for $3.25. The bands are fun, and there are open mic nights where musicians feel supported. The people that work there are friendly. Food is outside and okay at best, with a neat little outdoor grill serving hot dogs and burgers. Ma’s kitchen who cooks makes bomb food. There is a $10 cover for some bands.
