Great local bar and always a good time . Pool tables and juke box to play all your favorite songs . Love all the liquor selection they have especially Don Fulano reposado tequila. Great spot any day of the week . They also allow you to bring in outside food , tacos from across the street . Welcoming for everyone, there was people from 25 to older age group.
The best neighborhood bar! No food served but they allow you to order in, 2 pool tables for 25 cents a game, whats there not to like?!
Chill neighborhood dive bar with a couple pool tables. Can get busy.

Pete's Place is a favorite La Mesa bar, with a New Orleans vibe and friendly staff. The bar offers a variety of beers on tap, including the reviewer's favorite, and delicious Bloody Marys with tasty bacon. The nicely decorated bar features framed jazz artist pieces and two pool tables for entertainment. There is a parking lot in the back, which is a plus in the area.
The drinks are always tasty and served fast, with affordable prices and good service. The staff, including Jesse, Michelle, Carl, Bobby, and Jeremy, are personable and make the atmosphere great. The bar is clean and relaxed, with sports on the TVs and a cool outdoor patio in the back. Many regulars visit, and the restrooms are very clean. Whether solo or with friends, Pete's Place is a great spot to enjoy a drink and good conversation.
