“T&A Adventures is @ The Hills Local Pub in La Mesa California having THE BEST BURGER of our adventures so far! I mean WOW! Juicy deliciousness! Garlic Parm Burger - Half Pound patty, candied jalapeño bacon, swiss, garlic aioli, arugula, tomato, brioche bun, parmesean crisp - Served w Fries. Absolute 🔥! Our Server "Jordan" was awesome too.”
“We went in on a Saturday afternoon and wasn't very busy but we got a table and bought a few game cards. Which also yet you drinks. I really love how the center piece is the drink station. It's all self serve beer and wine. Which I thought was very cool. It's not a huge place and they don't serve food but they hook up with the pizza place next door.”
“Really nice vibe at Public Square. First time visit. I was totally impressed with the friendly staff, the decor and the lay out. Just grabbed two lattes and two scones with the 6-butter flight. Everything was excellent. Plan to come back and try more of the menu!”
“3/5 for a first timer during restaurant week… the special menu was $50 per person…. we never got any bread with our dinner (and didn’t realize we were left out until we were on dessert)… and, portions were small, so the bread would have been nice, especially for $50… also, the server made us make our food order at the same time as our drinks… personally, i like to have a drink or two before i order my food… so, the service was rushed in that sense… and no one asked me if i wanted a second glass of wine i had the veal and my friend had the lobster ravioli… both tasted decently but, again, small portions… the burrata was amazing and the desserts (tiramisu and lava cake) were pleasant i think i’d like to try again on a night that isn’t as busy, and order off of the actual menu”
“I haven't had BBQ this good in San Diego. If you are craving legit smoked meats this place is awesome. service is as good as the food.”
“Military here. Just came off a deployment of 9 months. Friend suggested this resturaunt. Fantastic food, payed over $130, seems decently worth due to great food very easy to handle table, very clean. Few drinks and some food. Came down to pay, the gentleman serving us, watched as I put in a small tip, I do not believe in huge tips, especially for an easy table, and a $10 tax. But he said only that much? And gave me a stank eye. I then finished and thanked him, he was extremely kind and nice the entire time until the end, where he said nothing else after and looked at my like I was a homeless man walking in and pi**ssing on the floor. Ruined the whole night.”

“First time here and not disappointed. Didn't have a long wait like others said. The doma was excellent. I got the combo to try their meats - beef kabob, chicken Tikka, and beef shawarma. All were seasoned well, especially the shawarma...very bold. But it's the cook on the meat that set them apart! All 3 were tender, juicy, and savory. Too many overcook these but they just melted in my mouth. Highly recommended.”
“Hands down Best Pizza I ever Had me and my wife went to check out uncle joeys pizza for the first time after her Appointment and as we got their we both were greated by Joey very professionally loved he’s attitude towards me and my wife as soon as he brought our pizza the very first bite of the pepperoni and Ham was absolutely amazing we would highly recommend Joeys pizza ? to anyone found us a new pizza spot”
“If you’re craving delicious Chinese food without breaking the bank, this hidden gem is a must-visit. Tucked away from the busy main streets, this cozy spot serves up flavorful, authentic dishes that hit the spot every time. From the perfectly crisp orange chicken to the rich and comforting beef chow fun, every bite tastes homemade and fresh.
The portions are generous, the service is warm, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality you get. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, this place is a solid go-to for anyone who loves good food at a great value.”

“We purchase TO GO every few weeks from Lake Murray location. Every staff contact is excellent, food is prepared hot and fresh with great seasonings and meals are a good value for the dollar. Restaurant and restroom are clean. Parking is good, as is drive through. The rewards program is a nice perk, too.”
“Took a wrong turn on the freeway and that lead us to this place. We had been wanting to come in and took this as a sign. We went for the two meat meal- brisket and pork ribs with bbq beans and cole slaw. Delicious!! Brisket was fork tender and full of flavor, pork ribs were seasoned perfectly and just right. The baked beans and slaw were just as good. We liked that they let you put your own sauce on. The tables have their house made sauces, bbq and a bbq mustard. Both fantastic! They have beef ribs but only on Sundays, so we’ll need a return trip( oh darn!) Definitely have some new fans here. Oh and worth noting, we got one meal which was plenty for the two of us.”
“First time here with local friends.. Great setting very surprising considering it's in the middle of east county!
Reasonable lunch prices food was exceptional. Would
Definitely be back!”
“Every time we’ve gone, the food is good. They also have a good choice of craft beers on hand rotating. The service can be either really good or really bad. They have forgotten about us and left us waiting for a check for 40 minutes. I ordered a hamburger with two slices of cheese, when they served it the hamburger only had one slice. I asked the waitress if she could just take it back and add another slice of cheese. I am more than happy to pay for it. She blew a huffing sound, shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes and said whatever and walked away with the plate. When she brought it back, she sat the plate down and said, “Do you have enough cheese now”. My wife and I have actually enjoyed going to this place, but that waitress has turned me off for a while for sure.”

“First time and will go back! Had the Thai tea with boba 🧋 it was delicious and refreshing. For entrees we ordered yellow and green curry with chicken. The sticky rice is very good and moist. Fun little restaurant, and if you dine in you get free little dessert surprise”

“We had my daughter's 50th birthday celebration at Hooley's a week ago. The manager, server and staff were so accommodating, patient and helpful. Everyone had a great time and loved the food. About half of the guests had not been to Hooley's before and they were all very impressed. Would I recommend this place? You bet I do!”
“We ate there when it was Marie’s. We always take pennsylvania visitors. They usually come when there’s still snow back East. They love the outside tables. I believe if you gave someone who is unfamiliar with Mexican cuisine this is a good start. I often have them get carnitas if they have had pulled pork and think Mexican food is spicy. The food is excellent. It’s pretty standard Mexican food for the area. The size of the portions are good. You won’t find too much exotic stuff but you won’t be disappointed. The service is top notch and friendly. The usual drinks. Have your visitors try Mexican Coca Cola, or the jaritos. Of course the selection of Mexican and American beers. The owner started working back in the kitchen , learned to cook and wait tables. He and his wife bought the place when the previous owner retired. It is truly the American Dream story.”
“I came to this place for lunch and it was a great decision. I liked the chicken soup and the pasta. I would especially like to mention that we had a wonderful waitress. She is really great, she paid us enough attention and I am very satisfied with the service and communication with the girl. She made our lunch even more enjoyable. The food is delicious, the service is great. I definitely recommend visiting this place”
“Such a great spot whether it’s for a family dinner, catching up with friends, or on a romantic date. The decor is adorable and gives it such a cozy feel. The prices are very reasonable. We tried many items from the menu. They were all delicious and the wine was also fantastic. Our favorite dishes were the bruschetta and mussels. The crepes Suzette and chocolate mousse were also delicious. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be going back!”

“Well, it's Jack in the box, what can you say? I don't usually go to check on the box but there is one thing I will keep going back for when I'm around one and that is the tacos. They used to be 99 cents for two, now they are at $1.79 for two but that's really not bad of an increase considering how everything else has gone up so much in the past couple of years. They are definitely a guilty pleasure and I've never experienced any gastronomic problems from eating them.”
“food was great but the service was even better! last night the girl working at the drive thru window helped me out so much i had a lot of questions and wasn’t exactly being the easiest customer but she helped me with all of my questions and was super nice about it.”
“First off I want to start by saying is McDonald’s . It’s busy many of you all just have no patience what so ever! I always come to this McDonald’s and if had a problem they were more than welcome to fix it for me no time! There quick with my food and sometimes I have to wait but I don’t have a problem cause I know how busy it can get. Even when I go inside and sit down, they bring my food and drinks to me, although they don’t have too. The coworkers are very nice I treat them with respect I get it back, they great me almost every time Maybe not all but it’s no biggy. I’ve seen many people get upset with the workers, not too long ago I seen a man throw the money over the counter at a young lady and told her to go get his coffee now because she’s going to make him “late” and then proceeded to tell her she didn’t belong here and she was being rude because she didn’t take his order first, all because she was trying to take out and order to a car who was outside. I don’t think I’d be consistently coming here if they were messing up my orders and or being rude. I have no problem with this McDonalds ??♀️”

“I was amazed how delicious the regular tart yogurt was!! I added som gummy bears and it was wonderful. Such a nice treat. We all got small cups since we had just had dinner and it was enough to fill that sweet craving.
If you live nearby or not highly recommend. They also sale to go containers to enjoy your favorite flavors at home. Plenty of parking. Limited sitting inside.”

“Love Sombrero Catering! It is such a great deal to feed a crowd and of course, the best Mexican food so everyone loves it. And we didn't have to cook. We got party platters and they were a hit plus Sombrero delivered them for us. The enchiladas are the best, that sauce! We also got carnitas, beans, rice and all the fixings plus chips and the BEST SALSA ever! YUM! We brought a few party platters to friends over the holidays too. It is always a hit. Thank you Sombrero Mexican Food! We will be back soon.”

“What a great place!! We stumbled across this place when we were out to dinner. The staff is friendly and kind. The owner Deano does all the work with the awesome bands they host on the weekends. From Country to hard rock. We haven’t heard one band we haven’t loved. If your looking for a great bar with great music this is the place. Everyone is welcome in this bar. Great atmosphere and you can even order food and eat while while you listen to fantastic music or play pool and watch sports. This is a true fabulous neighborhood bar. Come And enjoy. Char and Mark Handy”
“They usually have good bands and a dear friend of mine does kareoke there and you meet a lot of nice people there and friends that you know and street tacos are great. The bartenders are all great. Service sometimes is slow but they pack house on werkends so get there early to get a seat i have recommened to get one more bartender on busy nights.”
“I finally got try a pambaso at a local taco shop if you guys love your moms foods seasoning then you guys should definitely come and try Tita’s been their couple time and try new things each time and I have to admit they 🔥 so come try it out and support them as well”
“Quick solid hole in the wall for Mexican takeout! We live in the neighborhood and can say they’re very consistent - good quality and always 10 minutes lol. Our favorites - Birria quesadilla is so tender and comforting, California burrito is stuffed full (think it’s carne asada, guacamole, fries, sour cream, pico), carne asada fries or chimichanga are huge portions that hit the spot when I’m really hungry. Their salsas are thin consistency and medium spicy id say.
Definitely recommend if you are in the area”
“I am from Utah where chinese food is, meh. We were looking for delicious chinese food and found it! The staff were patient with us as we asked question about price and items. There is no place to sit though as it is take-out only. The food, did not dissapoint! Very delicious. Will be craving it from now on.”
“Great dive bar, easy access off and on the freeway and a great oasis on the way to magnolia to see a concert Friendly staff as well as the patrons”

“All the staff here are AMAZING! They have been such a great staff and has welcomed me and my daughter since day 1. The buffalo chicken strips are amazing along with the blue cheese side which is phenomenal and the steak fries are so good. Burgers are amazing too. Love Johnny B’s!”
“The first time I visited the taco shop. I ordered the ground beef roll tacos, it was an option for small ones or big ones I order big ones and they were delicious. Taco shops rarely sell a ground beef roll taco. The service was pleasent and the food is a good price. I will be returning soon.”

“I live out east nowadays, but I visit my hometown in La Mesa yearly. Came to Curbside for the first time last year, and just now went back again. I wish we had food like this around here when I was growing up!! My gosh, the short rib beef is incredible. Had it on a salad last time, and just now had the short rib taco along with an equally impressive fish taco. I got a few bites of the beef kebab too, and it was just as top-notch! Great seating options with a view of La Mesa Blvd. Good beer list too. And wonderful staff. I wish I had more time to try more of the menu—but I’ll be back every time I’m in San Diego down the line. Wishing the best to Curbside!”

“I love this location, so happy we have a better buzz in La Mesa now! Today I had a triple shot vanilla bean iced latte with whole milk and it was absolutely amazing! Was around $7 but worth it when the quality is so good! The lavender tea buzz (half sweet), iced caramel latte, and hot or iced matcha are my other favorites to get here.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options kept separate from the regular items which is great
Parking: Was busy but I got a spot right away!”
“Very high priced, but I ordered the A5 Wagyu (which is the Rolls Royce of beef), and I also ordered the A5 Wagyu tallow fries, and a real ice cream vanilla shake, so I expected to pay a high price. I waited more than 30 minutes for my meal as did a couple of other customers. I was hoping for that perfect, crispy outside and juicey inside, but my burger was so over cooked, it was really dry. (Such a waist of beautiful beef) The french fries were spot on delicious, but the shake was like milk. I think they made the shake way before the meal was ready to serve. I'm not sure if I'll go back there or not. I do love A5 Wagyu, though.”
