“Got the combo taco/enchilada plate. It was alot of food. The beans had great flavor, topped with melted cheese. Good hot sauce as well. They apparently dont have fountain drinks, as I was given a can of diet soda. I'd recommend eating here. This is my 3rd time here as I dont live within this vicinity.“

I shared part of the California Burrito with my brother as it has become his favorite now. It was huge and stuffed with meat. It's not a fancy place, but has delicious food and nice employees. “My wife and I have lived in LA for the past year and have tried countless taco carts across the city. On our way out of California, we stopped in La Mesa at Señor Taquero Taco Shop — and ended up having the best tacos we’ve ever eaten.

Ron is an incredibly friendly guy, and his food is on another level. We ordered cabeza, lengua, fish, and shrimp tacos, and every single one was amazing. The lengua especially was the best we’ve had anywhere — tender, flavorful, perfect.

He even gave us tripa to try for free, and it completely blew us away. It wasn’t fried like most places do; instead, it was soft, rich, and delicious. Truly exceptional.

“The first time I visited the taco shop. I ordered the ground beef roll tacos, it was an option for small ones or big ones I order big ones and they were delicious. Taco shops rarely sell a ground beef roll taco. The service was pleasent and the food is a good price. I will be returning soon.“

However, the guacamole was unmistakably oxidized, and its runny texture meant it ruined the flavor of whatever it touched. Hopefully it was just a bad day and they aren't regularly blending old, brown avocado into their guac.“

“The burritos ant Sombreros are the best anywhere. They add guacamole to the carne asada burritos which makes them tastier and not as dry as at other places. The breakfast burritos have plenty of eggs, cheese, bacon and sausage when requested and are quite filling. Sombreros has a free membership program which earns points and free burritos and churros!“
