“Did it live up to the hype? Yes, yes, and yes. Ever since I got back from New York where I had some of the best banana pudding, I've been on the hunt for something similar in San Diego. I found myself near the area, so I stopped by to try Extraordinary Banana pudding, and I am so glad I did. They had many different flavors but I am basic and like original stuff, so I went with the regular and also tried the banana pudding cupcake. The pudding was fluffy, smooth, had fresh bananas, and wafers - it was so delicious. The cupcake was also just as good, it reminded me of banana bread in cupcake form. The only thing I wish was different is the packaging and the pudding to have more wafers, but that is obviously a personal preference. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming. Large trays were available, but I believe those need to be ordered in advance. It is a bit pricey, but what isn't, inflation is everywhere. Overall, I will be back for more!“
“I loved their mocha! Great local coffee place and café. Lots of outdoor seating and parking. The staff was super friendly. Great experience! I will definitely be back. My only disappointment is that they do not have merch! Would have loved to get a fun T-shirt, hat or beanie. Coffee culture is a thing. Coffee lovers like to collect merch from memorable coffee houses in our travels. Hopefully next time I am in town, I will be able to pick up a fun T-shirt. ??☕️ ?“
“Good selections but most dishes have cheese ? but menu descriptions don't state that it has cheese. I tried the corn beef hash with eggs. It was okay but the hash was very salty I suppose if you mix the potatoes and eggs with the hash it will tame the saltiness of the hash. Coffee ☕️ is good especially since there is a selection to choose from.“
“Excellent flavor. Really fresh & Sweet fruit for a side was an outstanding surprise! The sandwich had ample turkey and the house salad dressing was a variation of a sweet Italian with a green twist. Salsa with the burrito had a robust chili flavor. Will be returning.“
“Had never been here, we were just walking around looking for a coffee place, when we found this lil place , as soon as we walked the aroma was delicious, so we ordered the huevos ranchero and chilaquiles verdes. They were beyond what we expected. Very tasty and fulfilling. The plates are pretty big. And service is good. Definitely will recommend and come back.“
“Discovered Patty's Cafe Today Very clean and inviting! Prices are competitive. Wide variety of menu items. Old fashioned breakfast which we don't have enough of around here. Mexican American, Greek options for lunch and dinner too. Best news! They don't put sausage in their country gravy!!! They will on request though. They do not disappoint. Try it for yourself“
“Love love love!! This cafe is beautiful! The staff are super friendly, attentive and sweet! We had their caramel macchiato & pink rose waffles. Both were delicious and the waffles taste just as good as they look! We will definitely be back!!“
“I like this coffee shop! High quality taste (always a good Turkish coffee ), lots of food options and even for bakery, nice decor, and most importantly great vibes. :) The staff are friendly and remember you & your orders, plus they are easy to communicate with & work fast. Definitely swing by if you’re visiting La Mesa…“
“I've lived in San Diego for years now and have constantly tried different brunch places. Spacebar has by far the best value for your dollar. Really top quality food at low prices that are almost impossible to come by in the county. At any time of day, Spacebar delivers. And with every meal, you'll be taken to space and back!“
“Great spot for coffee and lunch. I know a lot of reviews say it's a great place to work from, I have to say I disagree. This is an awesome coffee shop and it has wifi, but it also plays screamo/hard rock music which isn't the most conducive for working and they only allow laptops at certain tables. Will definitely be back but sans laptop.“
