“Great coffee shop on the Bernardo winery property. They’ve got Great Wall murals of workers and prospectors from back in the day. Good coffee and great pastries. They get their pastries from a well known Escondido bakery. The almond croissant was a home run. Really fantastic. Staff was friendly and quick . They have a decent selection of breakfast sandwiches and well. Ample seating inside the coffee shop and in the alley behind as well. They have Wi-Fi in the coffee shop as well which is helpful being all the way out in the boonies. Great coffee Team!!“
“I question whether this should be on Yelp, but since others have already reviewed it I would like to throw in some additional information. First and foremost: 1. This is not open to the public. I repeat, this is not publicly accessible. The cafeteria can only be accessed by going through security to get on campus. You must be an employee or a registered guest of an employee. 2. Hours: Breakfast is 7:00am to 9:30am Lunch is 11:00am - 1:30pm Snacks from 1:30pm-2:00pm 3. Pro tip: you can order certain things any time, regardless of whether or not they are on the menu. For example, chicken quesadillas are one of those things! 4. The people who work here are awesome, and I want to point out that they don't get tips. They still work their tails off, dealing with high volumes during rush hours and a different menu every day. Literally every person I have interacted with here has been very nice and extremely polite. They also keep the place super clean, which is appreciated. 5. The cost is more than some cafeterias, true, but still much less than what you would pay going out to even a cheap lunch spot nearby. I find the prices quite reasonable considering the quality. 6. The variety is good. They really make an effort to vary the menu. I've had cuisines here that include: sushi, Mexican, pho, Italian, etc. 7. Taking photos on campus (yes, even just of food) is not allowed. You really should not be posting your food photos of this establishment. It you judge this cafeteria on the basis of food and service quality vs dollars spent, it earns five stars in my opinion. Be nice to your servers!! They probably work harder than you do!“
“Went there a few more times, and tried more food. Besides the Elmisa Toast, which is a must-have, the Healthier Riser is super yummy! The Elmisa Toast is even better than before as it's very crunchy! It's now my go-to cafe wherever I am around that area. Highly recommend this place!“
“Came for a weekday lunch and had the B-appled panini which includes the pasta salad for $13. Prices are fair. Outdoor seating is picnic table style. The wait staff are fantastic! Came to ask if we needed the heater on, how the food was, and read my mind that I needed a to go box.I lost or dropped my valuable there and went to retrieve it the next day with everything in tact. Super appreciate the honesty and integrity of the staff and patrons here! Would love to come back for breakfast sometime.“
“Best place to bring a toddler for breakfast/lunch. The staff was lovely. Tasty, comfort food with good pricing. Kids pancake was in the shape of Micky so that was a bonus! And the best thing of all: the planes! We sat facing the air strip and between watching planes take off, helicopters flying overhead and the toy plane the waitress brought my son to enjoy while waiting for his food - it was nonstop entertainment. Will be back!!“
“Cute space, great coffee. All sizes get 2 shots of espresso. Decided on their Honey Lavender latte - delicious. Hubby wanted his usual Caramel Macchiato, so Caramel Latte is it. Kids got hot chocolate, my son described it tasted like marshmallow. Overall good!“
“I came across this place by accident while on the way back from a work meeting. It's in the heart of the industrial park area in Scripps Poway and it looks a little commercial from the outside. The inside, however, is nicely decorated and clean with two levels of seating. You order at the cashier and the food is brought to your table. I had the Southern Fried chicken sandwich with a jalapeño slaw, a hazelnut mocha cream puff, and a cup of the green tea. The star was definitely the chicken sandwich. It was perfectly crispy and moist inside. The jalapeños in the slaw were mild and not overwhelmingly spicy, and the fries were crispy and not soggy. The hazelnut cream puff was good but there wasn't much of a hazelnut flavor. If it didn't have hazelnut in the description, I would've just thought it was a good mocha cream puff. I will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu and more of the pastries in the display case.“
“It's no secret there are some great wineries in/around North County San Diego, but this one is truly exceptional. Everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly and inviting, especially the owner who invited our 5-year old to help her round up the pigs on the property. The space was peaceful with plenty of outdoor space. We enjoyed both wines we tried and will certainly be back very soon!“
“I just got coffee, an iced latte. The coffee was okay, but at least they used real espresso. I liked that atmosphere for sure! And the worker was kind, quick and attentive. @sandiegocoffeetoursKid-friendliness: I bought my toddler, who ran out the door and probably would have into the street, except the street area is cornered off with tables and red umbrellas. He liked that, climbing on those and stayed close. It is also near Poway park, so we could have gone there if it was too troublesome with a toddler. It wasn't toddler friendly, but it was definitely not toddler dangerous.“
