“The breakfast burrito is the best!! The bagel with lox also delicious and fish and fries as well. The atmosphere is cozy and the service kind and helpful. I didn’t give a 5 because my chicken sandwich had a very tasteless piece of chicken breast. This was so in contrast to the bun, the fresh avocado and tomato I added. I suggest they use a better type of chicken. This looked like a frozen flat mass produced product with bad texture and no flavor. Hope this is helpful as otherwise the cafe is super nice with many tasty drinks and food.“

“We have been looking for a place that served tasty Acai Bowls…Our favorite Acai bowl places either, closed down, burned down or changed the way they made their Acai bowls…We found Liquid Bean Café on the internet and decided to give it a try…Well, we both had the Acai bowls but I added an Egg Salad Sandwich pressed in a Panini press to our order…The Acai Bowls were fresh and totally delicious!!!…I really liked the Egg Salad Sandwich and loved the way it was pressed and toasted in the Panini press…We highly recommend Liquid Bean Café if you are ever in the Del Mar area…We will definitely be back again!!!…Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Darshan has the best sandwiches, pastries, and coffee in Del Mar. My kids love to watch them make croissants in the kitchen. Great wifi/spot to work if you are in the area, and has good predictable hours compared to other places. The parking spots are helpful in a town where that is always an issue. Their focaccia is DELISH!!!“

“Vibe/Interior: Earthy, cozy, and a place that makes you want to stay a while. Everything about this place feels so grounded and intentional.

Standouts: The vitality tonics are unlike any mocktail I’ve ever had - mentawai and sienna. The French toast is enormous so we had to take the rest home. My personal favorite was the panna cotta - light, refreshing, and not too sweet

Service: The host was incredibly warm. Our waiter was just as warm and attentive! Our water cups were never empty.

Parking: Across the street from the restaurant is a huge dirt lot that’s free

Pro Tips: Make a reservation in advance. We were a party of 2 and arrived at 11 so they were able to squeeze us in but almost everyone else had a reservation“

Then the Bahn mi is packed with the perfect ratio of meat, picked carrots, cucumber, and JALAPEÑOS!!! I love a jalapeño that delivers and these always hit the mark. Coffee - Overall pretty good coffee. We ordered a drip, pistachio latte, and hazelnut latte. Pistachio was definitely the way to go! I disagree with the $1 charge for alt milk.
Service - Excellent. They had just ran out of drip and offered to make a fresh batch. Very kind workers.
Atmosphere - Clean, good wifi, comfy seating. Access to outlets, easy parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but nice interior decor.“

“Lofty in Solana Beach completely blew me away. The staff goes above and beyond to make the experience great, which is so refreshing. I tried the iced Salted Caramel Latte, and it actually tastes like real caramel—not overly sweet or artificial like most places. As for the food: the Sausage, Egg, and Cheddar Croissant is a must-order, and getting a warm chocolate chip cookie topped with sea salt was the ultimate treat. Can't recommend this spot enough!“

This hidden gem of a coffee shop and cafe is in the Torrey Pines science park. The vibe is like a high end dinner restaurant but for coffee and light meals!

Quiet, spacious, and beautiful space for working, relaxing, focusing, and meeting others in or around UTC/UCSD/Torrey Pines/Sorrento Valley.

Airy and wide open with a nicely decorated main indoor area and a very large & beautifully landscaped patio. Abundant tables and outlets when I went. Many tables for groups of all sizes.

Had the brekkie sandwich and it is high quality and great value.

Only downsides are the limited weekday hours (till 3pm) and its off-the-beaten-path location.

“Friendly people. The line goes very slow. But once you order your drink will come out quickly. Inside the shop there’s no seating but there’s patio seating around. Just as well, it’s sweltering hot inside. Apparently no ac and I feel bad for the workers.

But the coffee was very good. The latte I had was not overly sweet which I appreciated. You do have to mix it yourself though.

The prices fit the surrounding mall. Expensive.“

“We were looking for a quick bite to eat that was dog friendly & this spot came up. We went in blind without reading reviews or anything & it was really such a pleasant surprise!

The place is small, but cute. The inside is clean. The menu is easy to navigate & everything seems fairly priced. The women behind the counter were very friendly & seemed to be having a good day.

There are some chairs & benches outside, which is nice. Water on the patio for dogs & people. The back picnic bench could use an umbrella or some kind of shade, but that's my only critique.

The food exceeded our expectations! Everything was fresh & flavorful with generous portions. The sausage tasted like it was made fresh, it was so delicious & I don't usually eat meat!

We were really happy with everything we got & would go here again.
