“This was our first time eating Peruvian The food was tasty, fresh and great portions.“

“First visit, I had the Chimichurri Tri-Tip plate ($20.95).
The tri-tip was very good, nicely done. Good flavor and good serving size. Chimicurri sauce was also very good. The fries were served hot and crisp, mixed grilled veg serving was very small, focaccia bread (not shown) was fresh.
The counter service was slow, we were ignored for too long, with no acknowledgement.
We sat on outside patio area, staff was slow to clean tables (there were crows feeding off the leftover plates).“

“It’s our annual place to be every August for the last 17 years: celebrating 50 years of marriage! The food, service and atmosphere right on the beach is heavenly. Our bartender Steve congratulated us and we talked for a short time. Everyone is so friendly, can’t beat the quality of their meals ! We drive out from Phoenix to have their specialty. “We have been looking for a place that served tasty Acai Bowls…Our favorite Acai bowl places either, closed down, burned down or changed the way they made their Acai bowls…We found Liquid Bean Café on the internet and decided to give it a try…Well, we both had the Acai bowls but I added an Egg Salad Sandwich pressed in a Panini press to our order…The Acai Bowls were fresh and totally delicious!!!…I really liked the Egg Salad Sandwich and loved the way it was pressed and toasted in the Panini press…We highly recommend Liquid Bean Café if you are ever in the Del Mar area…We will definitely be back again!!!…Five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“My husband, daughter and I stumbled upon this coffee shop one morning while taking a stroll. The barista working was as sweet as pie. She made my toddlers day! She created a strawberry sprinkle drink for my three year old, helped me curate a low caffeine drink for myself and made my husband a delicious iced americano! Coffee was great! Drinks were great! Almond croissant was amazing! Service was impeccable. Must stop by when you’re at the Del Mar Plaza!“

“Been going to this birdrock for over a year now and finally leaving a review. Love the baristas there!! Brought my family from out of state and they absolutely loved the chai. One of the best hot chais. The dark chocolate mocha was wonderfully made too. Never seen latte art like this before either! I could taste the espresso with the dark mocha and it was so smooth with no bitterness. The location is beautiful too, one of the prettiest cafes.
Line wasn’t too long today and baristas were pretty efficient. So friendly and they know what they are doing.“

“We stopped by Darshan Bakery hoping to grab a cinnamon roll, but they were out at the time. We ended up getting the pull-apart cinnamon roll instead. The flavor was good, but I do wish it had been served warm or at least offered the option to warm it up. The bakery itself has a cozy vibe, we went at 9:20am, we’d definitely give it another try earlier in the day next time.“

“We had an amazing stay at L'Auberge Del Mar. The hotel was stunning—beautifully updated with modern finishes and stylish furnishings. Our room was exceptional, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed, luxurious bedding, a marble bathroom, and a breathtaking ocean view from the balcony. The hot tub was a perfect temperature for the cool May evening. On Saturday night, there was a gorgeous wedding on the rooftop, and we enjoyed listening to the music from the hot tub. It wrapped up around 10:30 p.m., allowing for a peaceful and restful night’s sleep. The staff was extremely courteous, and the valet service was top-notch. We will absolutely return to this beautiful hotel and highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay—don’t hesitate to book your room!“
