“Vegan comfort food so good you'll tell everyone you know about it. My wife and I had meatloaf sandos because we haven't either of us had meatloaf in decades and we both liked it when we did eat meat. Scott's (hey Scott) meatloaf isn't like your traditional meatloaf with granules of ground beef. Instead, it is more the texture of a fine dice of beef, and man, it is mind-blowing good! I hear the Reuben will make you want to move to Oceanside. I'd love to see what this place could do with a tuna melt. The fries are superior and, well, they nailed it. Love the 60s/70s counter-culture vibe and, of course, the surf undertone (it's blocks from the waves). The service is what you would hope for and holds a soupcon of joy behind it. Scott is personable and you can see his heart is in the food and the restaurant. Finally...calling all meat eaters! This place is the place for you. I used to eat meat. I too know the dissatisfaction vegan food can bring. In short, I am not unsympathetic. You won't be dissatisfied here. I wouldn't be surprised if you returned and brought other people. I've tried all the meat substitutes and this isn't like that. They got hold of something here and it's really good.“

“I love how this small , family-owned business is located conveniently on Mission Ave. Great service and they have some pastries & vegan sweets too. They’ve got a nice seating that allows for people-watching and most importantly, they support other small bakeries & businesses by carrying their goods. “I stumbled upon this place biking along HWY 101. I ordered the Lowers. Strawberries, banana, Pnut Butter, and Granola acai bowl. I had them add coconut chips. I don't eat a lot of acai I've only had a few but this is the best one I've ever had. It was very well made. Lots of peanut butter so I didn't run out. It was served with the nice Dome top that I turned over and put half the plentiful fruit into so I had it throughout the whole bowl. I just can't stop thinking about how good it was I can't wait to go back next time I am in the area“

“This is probably the best In-N-Out we have been to. We are avid In-N-Out goers and this has the be the best we have been to. The food comes out quick, they seem to be very efficient. Jarod was all over the place helping people out, opening doors for people and cleaning up. I highly recommend this In-N-Out.“

“The spicy jam burger is my jam! ?? chef's kiss cuz gosh dang it was delicious. It has a crispy crunchy slice of cheese in it. Went for the first time with friends. The blue cheese burger was pretty tasty as well and I don't even like blue cheese like that. The monkey fries were good but not something I would order again. Almost thier spin on animal fries. I'll just order the jam burger twice instead. I got the lavender lemonade as well, had me feeling lovely, even tho I got burger juice all over the place. It's pricey for what I got, 2 burgers, one monkey fry, two drinks it was $50. I mean it's downtown so not a surprise, wish it was a wee bit cheaper because I can't be going broke out here for a delicious burger lol.“

“Smallish restaurant with tiny parking lot of about 10 spots shared between 3 businesses. Like the roll up garage door windows, lots of outdoor picnic bench seating under shade canopies (which we couldn't use on this rainy day). Beer selection is pretty good, we had the meat lovers 12 inch pizza and liked the thin crispy crust, a bit skimpy on the toppings but tasty enough.

Parking: I think 10 spots between 3 (?) businesses in this very small strip mini mall.“

“I recently stopped in to get a coffee while waiting for a shuttle to go to LAX. At the time I thought both staff members were extremely friendly and the coffee was delicious as I waited for my ride outside. A few days later I realized I left my hydro flask outside on one of their tables and I was back in Charlotte NC. I reached out to them and Jason was extremely responsive and sent it back to me no questions asked. This just shows you the type of quality individuals that work here and having killer coffee and a clean cool establishment are icing on the cake. Anytime I’m in Oceanside, I will be definitely stopping in!“

“We’ve been to Pacific Coast Spirits and Kitchen a few times now. I think their happy hour is quite strong with the Pork Belly bites at a 10$ price point. The Mac and cheese is delightfully creamy and has a good mix of textures. The Brussels are crispy and well seasoned.

We tried brunch today and it seemed like they were a bit understaffed. I had the breakfast plate which had pork belly, two fried eggs, fried potatoes, and four pieces of sourdough. They didn’t have any real jelly (only a Serrano jelly from another dish) which was a bit disappointing with so much bread on my plate. It was a bit underwhelming as a dish. The 5$ Micheladas were good though.

My husband had the chicken and biscuit - the chicken was well seasoned, the batter was crispy. The biscuit was a bit dry and a little undercooked in the middle.

Our friend had the chilequilles - the texture was good, the carnitas were a necessary addition, and the sauce was a bit spicy / creamy. Overall about a 7/10.

Our first experience here was fabulous so we will give it another shot, but brunch was a bit mediocre for the expectation that I had from our first visit.

Dietary restrictions: It seems like you could sub a few things for vegetarians, but probably not great for gluten free people.

Parking: The lot is small but free next to the restaurant. There is also plenty of street parking.

Kid-friendliness: It would be okay to bring older kids here, but might not be great if it was busy.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space to be wheel chair accessible and handicap parking outside in the free lot.“

“I’m not usually around the Oceanside area, and this was my first time here. It’s a cute spot, laid back and the staff is friendly, but I ended up taking someone else’s order—which I agree is on me—but my name was on the receipt and it came out around the time I was told it’d be ready. I was in a rush, no one else walked up and the employee there had only double checked my name and not the order, again on me for not clocking the incorrect dishes but I really wasn’t sure what everything’s supposed to look like. I appreciate the management for being responsive, if I’m ever there again I’d be happy to give it another shot.“

My friend and I sell steak, seafood and chicken off a truck across southern California, Nevada and Arizona. Along the way we hit every dive bar, greasy spoon and habadashery along the way. This morning I dipped into Parlor doughnuts for coffee and a doughnut.
Parking is curbside so it is going to a bit hit and miss but you won't have to hike too far to park. The vibe inside is laid back and business is brisk, the staff were wonderful and clearly enjoy working here.
All seating is outside with today was a bummer because it rained all night so the patio furniture was wet but I didn't mind.
How cool is this? Not only are they dog friendly they have a dog menu! The coffee was great and the doughnut was cream filled, gooey, and flakes and decadent. It was truly a treat. Doughnuts and coffee ran me a little over $10 and that included a $2.50 tip. What a treat!“

The location is perfect, right by the water with breathtaking harbor views that set the perfect ambiance for a family evening out. The food was absolutely delicious—everything we ordered was fresh and bursting with flavor. My daughters couldn't stop raving about their meals, and my wife and I were impressed with the diverse menu options. Our server was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, from recommendations to making sure our drinks were always topped off. “Great spot to come try some unique beer from craft breweries. They had a great selection of beer from around San Diego County and several other great selections beyond that. You can not beat this place if you are a fan of trying a little bit of a lot of things. You can grab single cans of rare beers. It's awesome. There is a bar area, indoor, and outdoor seating available. There is a nice patio out back. If you want food, they have several snack items and an attached restaurant in the same space.“
