I was finally able to come and try this place. We took a little detour back home and decided to stop here and give it a try. We arrived just before lunch time. The place is nice and clean with lots of sitting space inside and outside. My husband and I decided to try a taco and some of their queso. So I had brisket taco with potatoes I think it's called the Tijuana panther and my husband had the ft.worth taco with chicken and we shared the queso with brisket. Let's just start with the simple fact that the tacos are pretty dang good. I had the emo, brisket, and potato, none of which disappointed. HomeState is definitely part of the new wave of taco shops with more ingredients and more complex flavors than your standard street taco shop. Everything tasted fresh, with the flour tortillas being the standout part of my meal. My one bone to pick with this place is the price. Awesome staff and incredible food! If you haven't checked out this place you need to. Great assortment of tacos and the handmade flour tortillas are to die for. My son said he would give it 100 stars if he could!!!
