“Ignite coffee is such a great shop to hang at, work from, or stop by for a quick cup of coffee! The coffee is by far some of my fave in all of Oceanside. It’s located next to the up and coming downtown O which is great year around.Dietary restrictions: They have plenty of dairy free options!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space for your groms to hang! Inside and a patio seat available!“
“Such a crazy cool concept! I loved that it was located in an old mechanic shop, and this place had such a cool vibe too. I ordered a build your own that featured turkey and bacon and some avocado. It was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and had such great flavors. My fiancé ordered the Chicken Pesto, which he loved. He also tried the Pizza Panini too, that he also really enjoyed. Id definitely love to come back next time we're in town!“
“Ding Tea Oceanside has an expansive menu and a plethora if milk teas, coffees, and toppings to choose from. They also serve a very unique “egg waffle” that you can order in two flavors with or without different topping. The staff is courteous and efficient and had my order prepared very quickly. All in all an excellent experience.Vegetarian options: There is nothing on the menu that contains meatDietary restrictions: There are many options for beverages that do not have any dairyParking: There is plenty of parking in the business centerKid-friendliness: It has a pleasant atmosphere and many bright colors and flavors that a child would enjoyWheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp directly outside that goes right to the entrance“
“I love this place and the people who work there are awesome and friendly. ?✌❤? now they are even more awesome they.have a coffee and pastries. I had a mocha frappuccino Mexican style and it was so good I drank it so fast I wanted another one.Wheelchair accessibility: I travel by wheelchair and it is absolutely wheelchair accessible. ♿️“
“Great food. Great friends. Great service. That's their motto and they certainly live by it! The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, complimented by fresh and flavorful fruit. The chicken fried steak was, dare I say, perfectly done! The accompanying biscuits and gravy and potato pancake were absolutely outstanding. Good amount of seating but no reservations. Cool beach themed interior. Would definitely come again!“
“This is the best service I have ever had. The young girls that worked there were the kindest girls I've ever met. I'm at a loss for words about how amazing the service here is. I was addressed by my first name and I just felt so welcomed to be there. The quality of food here is amazing. The base itself is so creamy it's almost whipped. The price is amazing. I'd recommend everyone to come here.“
“I freaking LOVE this place! Great coffee, amazing food and lots more on the menu for me to try. Took my SO here yesterday for breakfast since she was having a "sick day" and this was definitely the RX. Service with a smile, food that is delicious and you can walk across the street and eat it on the beach. What's not to like. I hesitate writing this review because there's almost always a line and I don't want it so crowded that I can't escape here.“
“A local favorite - even prior to moving the SoCal we'd stop in here frequently! A great place to find vegan pastries which is a huge draw but they also have great toasts. I'm not a huge coffee fan but my husband loves their iced Vietnamese and I've enjoyed their banana mylk many times. Love that they display local artwork - great mech too!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options“
“This was my first experience at DB. I have to say.... Now I know why there are lines.... The coffee is very good. Smooth with not bitter bite at the finish. The customer service, though, is what got me. The cashier was extremely outgoing and super friendly. It wasn't an act, but rather authentic. While waiting for my latte to be made, she proactively had a conversation with me on how things were going, if there were any plans for the day, etc... She was engaging, courteous, and genuine. A++ for the customer service at this location!!“
“Love the burritos. It does take time for them to cook a fresh meal so give yourself a little extra time if you're in a hurry. There isn't a ton of room to sit if it gets busy, but they keep everything clean, which is nice. The food is well worth the wait!!!!!“
“Another 3 cheers for Communal! I opted for a non-coffee drink this time and was delighted by the sweet potato hash with Brussel sprouts and an egg lightly seasoned on top. So good! I also had a crisp seasonal kombucha that was on tap. Really refreshing for the mid-morning. Communal's atmosphere and aesthetic is light and airy with a community feel. It's always busy, but never overcrowded which is a good sign. I don't mind waiting in line because they have the best merch to peruse while you wait!“
“The food and service were great! Really nice menu lots of good options. Something for everyone. Great classic dishes and a few restaurant specials. I had chicken fried steak with awesome gravy. Next day had the seafood omelette both delicious. Good portions sizes.“
“Absolutely amazing burritos, you have to try it. Staff leaves you alone, and the food comes out pretty quickly. Music playing and very chill atmosphere.Parking: Coffee shop is in a complex with other buildings, so there was a bunch of spaces for parking.“
“We happened to walk by this place on our east to the Thursday market right next to it. There were many people eating inside and outside on their patio. We walked in to order a quick breakfast at the register. We found an empty seating and they brought out our meals. My breakfast sandwich was on a butter croissant and it was delicious! I think the croissant was an alternative since they ran out of their other bread, so I would recommend ordering with the croissant! The bacon inlet was cooked too perfecting! Over all, great service, great food and I would rely good again. I wish I would have ordered some bakery Items to go to try it.“
“This small shop a few blocks from the Oceanside beach was the perfect stop after my morning run.The place was sunny, cozy, and smelled amazing. A small selection of pastries was available at the counter. I ordered a warmed cheese danish, a vanilla latte, and added a drip coffee since I like to try the drip and espresso at a new spot. The latte had incredibly smooth foam on top, a small detail I find rare and enjoyable. Both drinks were rich, smooth, and delicious.“
“Delicious fluffy donuts!! My favorite was the churro donut and pretty much all the ones with cinnamon sugar. My husband liked the maple bacon donut. The staff was really kind and patient with my kiddos too. I also got a mocha, but it was too sweet for my preferences.“
“Cozy, warm atmosphere, which is a standout in a sea of forgettably bland homogenized modern coffee shops. Our drinks (breve and cappuccino) were the kind of deliciousness you had no choice but to sit and savor. The still warm from the oven muffin was sublime. While we sat and enjoyed our drinks, the person at the counter practically had the orders ready (from memory) for some of their regulars coming in.Could not recommend this place enough.“
“This place was so cute! I've never seen it before so decided to try it out. It was so peaceful inside. There is a bunch of different seatings. We picked a couch and played chess on the table! They had a few games and books you could use while there. I got a coffee and a bagel & cream cheese. The prices were very good and it all tasted yummy. They had plain or everything bagel. I got a plain bagel toasted. I would definitely come here again! I want to try one of their sandwiches.“
“I preferred the lady server over our original server, although he, Tommy, was alright. He didn't do anything to upset us, and he wasn't rude, but she had a more efficient "here to work and go home" attitude that I appreciated. The food was fantastic, and the staff were friendly. Tables were clean, and menus weren't sticky. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Thank you!“
“After frequently visiting the two other locations in Hyattsville and College Park Maryland I completed the trifecta today in Oceanside. Good service, great oat milk latte and the vibe was definitely SoCal. When we got out of the our Uber from San Diego the driver said you came all the way here for coffee? Yup!!!!“
“Discovered this place after getting my car repaired at Firestone. Walked down the road a bit and got to the Cup. Decent latte. Made very quickly. Has some baked goods on display and I’ll be back to try one of the sandwiches that has posted on the wall. Outside seating faces the street and train crossing. You can actually see the ocean from the outside seating which is really neat. Seems like this morning spot for locals around there. Will be back for sure“
“Awesome open air spot, lots of windows, and space between seating made this place very comfortable. Hostess was super tentative and friendly. They sat our group of 7 at the high-top table, which was perfect for us. Our server was great with orders and tending to us. I ordered Bacon, egg and cheese on a fresh English muffin. The sandwich had a good amount of egg and lots of tasty bacon. The wife had Berry Wild French Toast, which was sweet and savory. Very big order, so make sure you're hungry. They also served fresh orange juice and bomb house Coffee. We will be back!“
“Wow wow wow! Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic view! Had the pesto sandwich and french dip and the aqua frost dessert and everything was incredible! They were so friendly and even offered snacks and water for our dog. Can’t recommend enough!“
“Small coffee shop inside Rising Co. (apparel store) with indoor/outdoor seating. Friendly service, clean & relaxing atmosphere with an array of options for caffeine and light bites + they allow dogs! I ordered their dirty chai, on the sweeter side but not too much, really nice spice and ginger coming through. I had to savor each sip because it was delicious! Other than Bohemian House of Chai in DTLA, this place knows how to chai. I would come back next time I'm in town.“
“Each time I visit, my experience is distinctive. I enjoy sampling the diverse dishes meticulously prepared by Chef Jesse. His innovative talent is truly remarkable. We are witnessing the genesis of his exceptional culinary journey. The latest creation, "The Switchboard Banana Split," is a delightful and whimsical culinary experience. With the unwavering backing of the proprietor, this establishment is poised to become a pivotal destination in the near future.I would also like to acknowledge Hailey, the bar manager. She consistently demonstrates her expertise in recommending appropriate beverages while fostering a lively and enjoyable ambiance. Please consider this establishment; I assure you that you will not be disappointed.“
“Love the ambiance here, great vibe. I recommend the avocado toast here, although on the pricier side. Oh yea, coffee’s great too! Cool place to bring friends, or to meet up!Parking: Not the easiest place to park. May need to drive around the block to find street parking.“
“Got the white chocolate mocha...DELICIOUS!! Parked like 3 blocks away and got to see some idyllic beach side scenery on the walk there. The interior was super cute a d the art decorating the menu and walls was so cool...like classic beach town paintings of aquatic wildlife that add to the seaside vibe perfectly.“
“Captains is the best local coffee spot around. It's kid friendly and in a walkable location. Close to the beach so we can swing by and get a view of the water after grabbing our coffee and morning snack. The vibe and service are great and it's really affordable. If you bring a cup with you, coffee is only a dollar.“
“We went here right at closing. Not too many items left but we did try an almond chocolate croissant, and another pastry that tasted like a beignet donut (can't remember the name). Both were really good, especially the almond chocolate croissant. I never had anything like the almond chocolate croissant before. It was stuffed with so much filling, and had a nice flaky layers. There was also some nice carmelization on the outside. I would drive here again just for this pastry. The person working at the front was very friendly, and (I presume) French since she was speaking French to someone in the back. Definitely coming back here! Come early to get the best pick!“
“This place caught me by surprise! It is in between 2 buildings, such a cool innovative idea. They really transformed the space into a peaceful oasis. Peter helped us out and was super kind. The coffee tasted good! I got the lavender latte! You can by any of the succulents, so you know we had to get one! Peter told us about the succulent we picked! I can't wait to make this place one of my regular stops!“
“I really like the food here and especially the boba teas and vietnamese coffee. They brew real tea that is used in their teas. Many places just use a powder mix. The customer service is always friendly and they all take pride in the quality of their food and drink. I always have a ton of questions and I always get perdect descriptions and great recomendations. The prices are good too.Vegetarian options: They will customize“
“PRETTY LITTLE LATTESDid you know that coffee starts to fizzle out within two minutes of brewing, and after 15 minutes, it's considered past its prime by coffee connoisseurs and Sipsters alike. So, if you want to experience the full-bodied richness of your cup of Joe, get your coffee fresh from a roaster and drink it onsite. Now, let me drop some knowledge about coffee. Coffee cherries grow on small shrubs. The three main growing regions are all near the equator: Latin America, Africa, or Asia. Coffee is also grown in the US, with Hawaii taking the crown with its Maui beans. And Southern California has recently joined the caffeinated party as a domestic coffee grower. We've all heard of pricey coffee, but the most expensive coffee beans (at $200 per pound) are ones that have been processed in the bowels of an Asian wild cat. These furry felines dine on coffee cherries, and after digesting and eliminating them, the beans are collected from their waste. If that's too much for you because maybe you're a cat lover, there's a version of this coffee made the same way by Thai elephants, called black ivory coffee. For the truly adventurous, there's always monkey waste coffee. Call me a purist, but I like coffee beans picked directly from the plant and not from the GI tract.Who drinks the most coffee? The honor goes to Americans. We take the lead in coffee consumption, with Germany hot on our heels. Let's raise our cups to that! So, seize the moment and enjoy your pretty little lattes before they lose their sparkle! And remember, life is too short for lukewarm coffee.Pro tip: Located in downtown Oceanside next to The Switchboard, North County Roastery source and roast beans that result in a perfect coffee. They have it all: Beautiful Lattes, Espressos, Americanos, Cortados, Drips, and Cappuccinos.“
“The lady who ran the front window is absolutely amazing! She is very kind and cares about the drinks she makes. I absolutely love the drinks here and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice quaint little business to support after getting their daily drink.“
“Went in Sunday morning for the first time. We were seated quickly. Great breakfast menu! Had the Egg Avocado toast and a Denver omelette, both delicious. Especially liked the eggs on the Toast and the omelette wasn’t over loaded with cheese, and the vegetables weren’t over cooked and a good amount of ham and bacon. Will be back!“
“They just made my night !!!!! I’ve been going here for years but I didn’t know they had cinnamon rolls with no dressing , as someone who doesn’t like too much sweet stuff I’m soo happy about this . The staff were sooo nice and friendly as well , sorry but you’ll be seeing me a lot coming for your cinnamons ?.“
“This is a jewel of a place in Oceanside, CA. The location is great. The coffee shop itself is a wonderful place. The employees are exceptional, the coffee and pastries are magnificent. Anyone that visits Oceanside, make sure you make plans to visit Pannikin.“
“OMG! I've been in prison for 28 years and never had a Krispy Kreme donut but always wanted one. The young lady helping me suggested a couple new items and WOW. These donuts were worth the wait. The best I've ever had in my 68 years! Thank you!“
“My 10 year old daughter had their apple cinnamon crepe, the strawberry smoothie and some of my turkey and cheese crepe. She immediately said "If these people are on yelp give them 5 stars!". So here we are. She says and I quote "Their apple cinnamon crepe tastes just like apple pie and their drinks are amazing."“
“I always come back from vacation to the realization that Southern California is filled with tourist attractions that would be amazing anywhere but are a dime a dozen. This coffee shop is I'm the Oceanside Pier Village. The views are amazing. My cappuccino wasn't great but with free parking and these views it doesn't really matter. There's also a public bathroom down the pier.Vegetarian options: SureDietary restrictions: BreakfastParking: Free lot.Kid-friendliness: Yeah.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy“
“I spend my mornings at this Starbucks location. It's spacious, everyone is friendly, and they get the job done. They are very accommodating whether it's a mistake on their part or yours. Don't be afraid to speak up because they are absolutely willing to help make your Starbucks run a great one. My favorite crew member is Michael! I have a difficult name, and he has always made it a mission to get it write with pronunciation and spelling. He's the best! All the crewmembers are great, and this is my favorite location to get work done at because I can guarantee that the service will be good.“
“Absolutely love love love the service here, I can't remember the young lady's name maybe (Lily)that helped me at the window Saturday morning but she recommended me the IV, it was delicious. depending on what time of the day you come there could be very very very long lines but I came first thing Saturday morning I was the first one in line ;)“
“Absolutely incredible gelato. I got strawberries & cream on top of the cheesecake. The texture, consistency, flavor, all of it combined into something that I won't forget. When I visit Oceanside again, this is a guaranteed stop. Also, Conor is just the nicest human being.“
