“This is our Sunday morning donut spot, and has been for almost 7 years. They are always so sweet and patient with our large family, and we love the variety of solidly made treats that satisfy. Our favorites are the apple fritter, maple bar, and old fashioneds. Cash only! If you forget, hop over to the gas station for their ATM, not the sketchy and broken one in the parking lot.“
“The donuts were fine. The ham and cheese croissant was really good. After two bites into the croissant, I still hadn't found any ham or cheese but finally, near the middle, I found the goodness. And it was very hammy and very cheesy and very good. Note that they DO take credit and debit cards but ONLY if you order at least $10 worth of food and/or drinks. If you fail short of $10, the pro move is to order donut holes until you hit $10. Fair warning. Excellent croissant, good donut.“
“Yummy donuts!!! Skip the coffee though ;) We stopped in on a rainy, brisk day and grabbed some warm, freshly-made donuts after a walk on the beach....they were delicious! The donuts are the more dense, cake-like, type which is my favorite. The coffee was not up to par with what you'd expect from a donut shop, so that was a little disappointing but otherwise...I highly recommend it!“
“This is a great spot for doughnuts! They are located 2 blocks from the Oceanside pier. Staff are friendly and efficient. These are not your basic typical donuts. They are large and fluffy! They have a great variety. Today they had 2 doughnuts that were filled. One was a raspberry jelly and the other one they had was filled with coconut. My mom tried the raspberry filled one. It was really good! The jelly was fresh and not too sweet. I had the strawberry shortcake. It was topped with fresh strawberries, icing, and a touch of whipped cream. It was delicious! My sister got the Salty beach which was the frosted glaze with cinnamon sugar nice and light. The donuts were flaky and easy to pull apart. Check them out you won't be disappointed. This is a MUST if you are in DT Oceanside.“
“Mr. Donut is a hole in the wall donut shop. I really like their croissant breakfast sandwiches. My boyfriend said classic glazed was good. I tried their sprinkled cake donut and the cake was moist! Customer service was great! I didn't even have to tell the owners to cut the sandwich in half because they already did!“
“Fantastic donut shop! I remember coming here when I was younger and it’s still just as amazing now. The donuts are warm and delicious, the iced coffee is homemade AND they take debit/credit cards now (beware there is a $10 minimum though.) I’ll be back again soon!“
“I absolutely LOVE to support a small business but I don't think I'd call this family small lol. It's also a woman owned business too. She's killing it!! These are some absolutely delicious creations. You could tell she truly puts her heart and soul into these donuts. Plus I have to say as someone who has diabetes and can't normally can't enjoy traditional donuts. It's great there's a sugar free AMAZING treat I can enjoy. These with a ice cold glass of milk or when I want to sin my soul.. Rite Aid butter pecan ice cream with the coffee or mint n chip crumbles of the triple chocolate OMFG YES!! Definitely can see this in multiple locations in Southern California cause of what they offer, the quality, the care of the product and I think they would do great in Del Mar or La Jolla. Now I want to make this clear this isn't your traditional describe these lite, fluffy, not overly sweet but right and honestly they a piece of little heaven. I normally went to go get 1-2 but cause I was in a good I got some for my coworkers. They absolutely enjoyed them and they were like.. so when are you going to bring more in? LOL that's what I get for spoiling them right.. Probably should'nt call out another elite member but the Amanda review definitely on some kind of drugs. It is almost a laughable review ..or maybe she's a angry ex? Sorry had to add that part. I personally had a great natural customer service experience. It wasn't a fake overly happy person but chill and friendly. More chatty than most donut shops. Just randomly thought of all the pink and wanted to yell DIPSET lol cause if you know CamRon use to wear all pink. I might need to get a hoodie next time. In addition just a little mix it up advice wine from Bev and these sweet treats (it's love)Dietary restrictions: It's sugar free, nut free, it's gluten free and they use oat flourParking: Don't park near. Trader JoeKid-friendliness: It's sugar free. Which if you want a healthier sweet treat for your kids.. I highly recommend thisWheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp near by“
“Sam’s donuts have the best Apple fritters and cinnamon rolls around this area!! We tried others in Oceanside and nothing compares!! We’ve been coming here since 2010. We had moved to Texas back in 2018 and couldn’t find Apple fritters like Sam’s Donuts!! We were very disappointed! We have came back to Oceanside and very happy that we did bc now we’re enjoying our Apple fritters from Sam’s Donuts again! Love love love my Apple fritters from Sam’s Donuts!!❤️❤️?“
“They just made my night !!!!! I’ve been going here for years but I didn’t know they had cinnamon rolls with no dressing , as someone who doesn’t like too much sweet stuff I’m soo happy about this . The staff were sooo nice and friendly as well , sorry but you’ll be seeing me a lot coming for your cinnamons ?.“
“Close to the grandkids house for a Saturday morning treat. Easy parking with a decent selection of donuts. We ordered a dozen mixed and added dozen donut holes as well. Kids enjoyed the sprinkles and jelly donuts. The donut holes disappeared quickly right before our eyes. Cost is about the same as other shops and service was great. Oceanside Donuts will be part of our rotation moving forward when we bring treats for the grandkids. Easy 4 stars.“
“OMG! I've been in prison for 28 years and never had a Krispy Kreme donut but always wanted one. The young lady helping me suggested a couple new items and WOW. These donuts were worth the wait. The best I've ever had in my 68 years! Thank you!“
“The donuts are great and priced just right. The people are nice enough. Their English is just alright, but I’m there for donuts, not to make friends. My son loves the taro shake.Vegetarian options: We’ve only had their donuts and shakes, and they’re great.Kid-friendliness: Kids + donuts = happy“
“Stopped in here while on vacation to grab some donuts for the kiddos. This place is awesome. It's like the "Cheers" of donut shops. The owners seemed to know the names of every third person who walked in, and it was a steady stream of customers. The donuts were delicious (in particular the apple fritter) as was the bacon/egg/cheese croissant...and it was enough to last you all day! If you don't give this place a try, you are missing out.“
