“This place is fantastic! A new favorite in Poway. Great for a quick snack and something a little different. My go-to is the original mozzarella and a funnel cake mochinut - delish! Their boba drinks are great too. Service is always friendly.“
“We love MARY’S!! We’ve been going since they were in their stand alone building by the gas station. They have the best donuts! When you go you have to get a blueberry donut! We will always go to Mary’s!Parking: It’s in a strip mall with plenty of free parking.“
“This multigenerational family owned business has been serving donuts at this location for 30+ years. Their wall shows their support of sports teams which dates back to the 1990’s. We stopped by for an afternoon treat at 12:30pm, and the donuts we purchased were delicious & fresh. The lady who served us was friendly and welcoming. I’ll be returning to satisfy my next donut craving!“
“I was driving down the road, thinking that every donut place was closed needing is fixtures and sugar and I just happen to stumble upon like a doughnut in Mira Mesa like you’ll have to stop here this place is the bomb donuts are the best I think I’ve ever had and the service was amazing. People are nice, friendly, helpful, and they know how to bake a damn donut check it out.Parking: Never have to look for a. Space“
“I've been coming to Mary's donuts since 2012 back at their old location in Santee. It's really great that they have branched out and have a store in Lakeside now.Parking is a little weird. They have a lot in the back but if you're lucky you can get a spot on the street I saw they have deli and breakfast lunch menus so I'll have to stop in and try them.Donut case is always impressive on what they offer but I usually stick through my usual order of a maple bar. I decided to get an apple, fritter and man are they ginormous! Honestly, the size of your face and they taste so good! The service is so quick I waited, probably less than a minute before I was helped by one of the employees. I've been to the Santee location at 2 AM and they're always still so nice and welcoming despite the odd hours.Makes me happy to support them throughout all these years and see them expand and grow! Keep on going!“
“Small store, freshly baked yummiest. Coffee good too. Plenty of parking to rush in and grab a few donuts and coffee. and be on your way unless you want to pause and sit inside the store. Fair prices. You will always be greeted by a cheerful smile.“
“Visited 12FEB2024Great: Nothing was notable.Good: The shaved ice dessert was way too sweet and the ice was too large for a bingsu dessert. The mix of toppings and cereal didn't help the flavor. The ice cream on the side was ok.Bad: Nothing was bad.Visited Jan 23, 2023Great: The cashier was very nice and helpful. The Vietnamese coffee was strong and tasty. The decor was nice and the place was clean.Good: The rice flour donut was ok. the texture was fine, but chewier than I expected. It was my first time eating one. The cashier took his time to explain what they were and all the flavors available.Bad: Nothing bad.“
“Don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure they have 5 different types of vegan donuts. And y'all would not believe how absolutely delicious they are. I highly recommend (personal preference) the Strawberry sprinkle 1s, grab a few, because you cannot just eat 1, they're so perfect. Texture, taste, smell, etc etc, exactly like a regular donut ?Vegetarian options: VEGAN donuts“
“There no place that gives you a better donut at a competitive price point. I vividly remembering running to get PQ donuts after 5th grade class. I’m 32 now and have lived in different countries and cities where I’ve sampled countless donuts/fried pastries. PQ Donuts is a humble business with an incredible, consistent product. Not campy or over-the-top, just the humble classics executed perfectly and deliciously. A must try when you’re in the area.“
“The donuts here are exceptionally good and fresh. I have gone often enough that the owner will automatically say what I want because I usually get the same thing and he memorizes the regulars. It's just a little hole-in-the-wall but it is good donuts and the owner is totally friendly. If you live in the Rancho Bernardo it's up by the 7-Eleven on Bernardo Center drive.“
“I always get two pink donuts with sprinkles for my daughters. The donuts are phenomenal. Have you seen the show worth it? There is an episode where they try three different price points of donuts and the cheaper $1 donut is the winner. That's this place. The donuts are affordable but perfection!“
“Honestly, these are some of the nicest people I have ever met.We had an accident on the freeway and we reserve this hotel room and the state patrol gave us a ride over here to the hotel. It’s just next-door. The hotel would not let us stay in the lobby because they would not allow us to check in until 3 o’clock and we arrive at about 1030 in the morning. if you want, you can check my review of the hotel that I posted on Google maps as well. This little donut shop knew what happened to us and said we could stay in the lobby as long as we needed to to wait until they allowed us to check in at 3 o’clock today. She gave us a free donut and we bought sandwiches and more donuts and are very appreciative of their kindness. This is definitely a good place to start for good donuts and sandwiches and ice cream. Everything taste great. Highly recommend it. And thanks again you guys are awesome!“
“Donuts are great, the maple-bacon bar is very tasty! On a whim the other day we got a couple of sandwiches from here, and WOW were were blown away! They were amazing , would highly recommend, and we will definitely be back for more!Dietary restrictions: They do have some gluten free options in the donut/(muffins?) Section.“
“How anyone would wait for the overpriced, overrated coffee shop on the other side of the parking lot over going to this gem is beyond my comprehension. Absolutely amazing coffee and the food is delicious, oh yeah and they have donuts that are amazing.“
“My wife and I stopped by for breakfast while visiting from out of state and were so happy we did. The food was great and the service was even better. Watching them interact with multiple customers they seemed like pillars of the community. Highly recommend the croissant sandwich!“
“Best doughnuts and coffee!! All my kids loved them. The coffee tasted great and was fresh and hot. The service was excellent and the lady behind the counter was extremely nice and attentive. This place will be our family’s new doughnut spot. I definitely recommend everyone to try!“
“Definitely some of the best donuts I've had. Even later in the morning they still have a good selection. They're always quick here too. Not the greatest parking lot if you want to park close. Inside has standard breakfast cafe vibes, it's nothing special but the seats seem more tailored for sitting while you wait for them to heat your sandwich. It's all worth it for the amazing donuts.“
“The only place I go for yeast donut holes and donuts in general. Get here early for them because they're almost always sold out by the end of day. I also love the sesame buttermilk donuts here and it's not too sweet. It's all good, you can't go wrong. I'm personally not a big fan of cake donuts in general so I don't have an opinion on those.“
“Incredible donut shop! Conveniently located close to a freeway, next to a gas station and car wash.Fresh donuts everyday (so get there early for the freshest batch!). They also offer breakfast sandwiches (both sausage egg and cheese and bacon egg and cheese are delicious) as well as deli sandwiches.Coffee is fresh and hot every morning. The staff are efficient and friendly. The inside is small, so most order their items to-go. There is a small table inside, and a handful of tables just outside of the shop if you want to enjoy your food there. I went in on a Saturday morning (around 8:15am), and for whatever reason there was one employee working the front. She was calm, cool and collected...even with the growing line. She greeted all customers and told them she would be with them as soon as she could. I didn't catch her name, but wow, she was doing a fantastic job! I highly recommend this local donut shop! Wish they had more locations in north county!“
“I'm not always in the mood for those artsy expensive or Krispy Kreme variety donuts but I've had some unpleasant experiences with old fashioned donut shops North County. I was over the moon to find this little gem. Donuts were fresh with a wide selection available. The shop is clean and organized, which is a giant plus for me when it come to mom and pop establishments. Service was friendly and quick. I will definitely be back.“
“The donuts are yummy, a large variety of them, and it even has a window so kids can see what is going on inside before they are served the donuts!!!Parking: Since there are a lot of stores over there, there are lots of parking optionsKid-friendliness: Has a window so they can see what goes on insideWheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp so wheelchair ppl can come up“
“This modest donut shop located next to Sprouts has the best donuts. Nothing fancy. Just a couple hard working ladies making the freshest, fluffiest donuts in town and at very reasonable prices. They greet you with a warm smile and box everything in that iconic pink bakery box.“
