“I visited Ju Feng Yuan in Poway for the first time recently and was really impressed! This Chinese establishment specializes in handmade XiaoLongBao, handmade dumplings, beef noodles, pancakes, and stir-fried entrees. Upon entering I delighted in seeing the adorable smiling dumpling boy character. Despite being in a strip mall, this clean, well decorated restaurant exudes a classy vibe. The tables are elegantly appointed, to include a tablet ordering system. The interface was clear and easy to navigate. Not at all cumbersome and clumsy like those tacky Ziosk machines. My waiter was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. He thoughtfully offered recommendations, and I enjoyed visiting with him. The Green Onion Pancake was outstanding, although oddly served in a basket. My Pork Wontons in Chili Oil were excellent. Not overly spicy, just about perfect for my taste. Among the finer versions of this dish I’ve had. Overall, I highly recommend and look forward to visiting again soon.”

“I’ve been to this place twice now, and honestly if I had written a review right after my first visit, I probably would’ve given it 5 stars. The first time I came was about 1–2 years ago. We dined in, the restaurant wasn’t too busy, and our waitress was super friendly and gave us really good recommendations. The place itself is very spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. One thing I absolutely LOVE is that they have a whole vegan section with so many options. We ordered the shishito peppers and vegetable gyoza as appetizers, and for my main I got the Vegan O’sider. Everything was so delicious that I couldn’t wait to come back. On my most recent visit, I ordered takeout and I got the gyoza roll and the shishito peppers again. The gyoza roll was honestly amazing, but I was a little disappointed with the peppers this time. The portion seemed noticeably smaller compared to my first visit, and they just didn’t taste quite as good as I remembered. I also noticed the prices have gone up quite a bit. Overall, I still really enjoy the food here, especially their vegan options, but the main downside for me now is the portion size compared to the price.”

The food was superb, the facility was spotless and every member of the staff that interacted with was professional, helpful and friendly. Diana was fantastic! She has the perfect balance of friendly efficiency, light humor to match our personalities and spot on timing to check in with us. We can't wait to visit again! Thank you.”

“Been going for years..Great, delicious food that tastes so good you can only expect to stuff your face 😋 It's got the flavor of the authentic BBQ w/char, beef pork and chicken meat falling off the bone ..with a perfect sauce that doesn't taste like it's full of sugar or fake ingredients..It instead tastes like years worth of perfected quality. The staff and service is also very caring and helpful, making sure everything is to your exact liking. Super!”

“This place is sooo good!! The sandwich was amazing but the customer service was even better, they’re so sweet! The entire meal with chips was $14.50 and the sandwich was 3 layers. Not to mention the free cookie the owner gave both my friend and I. This place is so homey and has a great environment and super affordable!”

“Hands down, the best burgers. My go to is the Double- Double animal style (mustard grilled into the meat, grilled onion, extra sauce, extra pickles). You can get it on any of their burgers. To the Snyders (the owners of In-N-Out), PLEASE put stores in Florida!! We deserve this goodness too. 🥰”

“Looking for a replacement Chinese Restaurant, since my favorite closed down. Ran out of options in Poway. So decided to give 369 a try. They had a few Chinese options, so tried the Broccoli Beef lunch special. I was pleasantly surprise, very good flavor and large portions. The regular portion would feed two. They also sell Beef Chow Fun. I normally have to get this at a sit down place. Theirs is pretty good. One day I will try the Ramen.”

“Great service. Excellent location with plenty of parking spots. Food was.. ok. Pho broth was your typical MSG premade broth but a little too sweet for me. Meat was a overcooked. My bf ordered shrimp stir fry noodles and it was too saucy to be a stir fry. Vegetables were way undercook and too little noodles. Eggrolls were good. Video playing on the tv was very loud. Three to four stars.”

“Small parking lot but spacious inside. Convenient location with drive thru... can get busy during the peak times - plan accordingly. Super clean restroom. Ordered Carmel vanilla latte, regular sized.... too sugary for my taste, possible that the Barista was heavy handed with their syrup pours. 😅 will be back to try different drinks and food. Thank you for giving Poway another option other than the usual coffee place on that street.”

“Hit up the New Nutmeg on Danielson Street in Poway. I heard their Scripps location closed because the landlord raised the rent so high it was unaffordable for them to stay there. We were a large group so we were able to order a bunch of menu items. There was a line but its a very popular place so we were not surprised. We started with some espresso drinks, and agua frescas. We had the Hearty Bowl, Avocado Toast, and Amazing Burrito. Some in our group had the new Grandpa's Breakfast Bun with the egg and spam, and the Porky. They are very flexible with special orders including one in our group who is gluten sensitive. We finished, sharing their in-house baked pastries (they have gluten-free pastries); the warmed espresso scones and cinnamon buns (don't ever leave without having the "buns"). I work in the area so Nutmeg is now my go-to for breakfast before work, or lunch. Its also located nearby Costco and Home Depot, convenient for a weekend meal before or after my weekly Costco runs.”

“I had a fantastic experience at Lienzo Charro Mexican Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor, and clearly made with care. The portions were generous, and everything came out fresh and hot. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!”

“This is a clean little shop in the corner of a plaza. I ordered the bulgolgi bowl and mango sticky rice. The bulgolgi was absolutely fabulous - cooked perfectly, but spicy at all. The mango sticky rice was really good - there was a TON of mango (like a whole mango), but not much rice. It's not overly sugary sweet, so it's perfect after a meal, but maybe plan to share it with someone (or save some for later). Definitely would recommend this place!”

“The Not-so-Tots are great. Order them with no liquid cheese, only shredded cheese (unless you like liquid imitation cheese). The chili cheese dogs are pretty good too. The hamburgers, are pretty awful. Every time I have ordered one, the meat has been stale. That kind of almost rancid fat taste. I gave it 4 stars overall, because tater tot nachos? Doesn't get much better than that. Atmosphere is lacking, the tables are crowded together, and they're always busy, so service is so-so.”

“After a walk or after a series design, I get hungry and sometimes have a hankering for Mexican food. This little gem in the strip mall is a consistent great stop. The owner is always smiling.. I do not think I have ever seen him not smile. They have two cooks that are always there. Food is always consistent. Great spot for Carne Asada burrito, or tacos...of course they have much more. Come down and have some chow. Oh yes, the salsa bar is amazing...”

For some reason, my Jamba app wasn't being read by the computer, but they honored the coupon that I was trying to use anyway. Then on the way out, I got caught up on the door and dropped one of my smoothies. As I was frantically trying to clean up the mess, they made me another smoothie to replace the one I dropped! I couldn't believe it! They reassured me that everything was okay and that they would finish cleaning up the mess. “I go for the lunch buffet with friends all the time. If you don't ask, they won't put out a new pizza, so keep that in mind. The buffet is reasonable price and they have a few different options for pizza they rotate out. Just ask and they'll make the one you want. They have a salad bar too and some cheese and cinnamon twists. Nice interior. People are nice.”
