Always a smile, always remembers me, such a positive attitude and exceptional customer service! This place is great on its own. Never had a poor sandwich, the beer is equally delicious, but the highlight is Michael! The other staff is always friendly and is equally exceptional, but he stands out as he’s the first point of contact with staff! Hope this location knows how lucky they are to have such a great employee! He is why my family and I keep returning! The tater tots are next level, and the staff so friendly. It's right by the old midland park, and just a great little spot to take the kids, chill out while they play and watch a game. “My husband and I rarely go to sushi. Besides our favorite place back home because it’s usually such a disappointment. We decided to give this a try and I’m so glad that we did! “This review is long overdue. Buckboard BBQ catered a team dinner for Granite Hills Football. We hosted 95 people after practice and hands down this was one of the best experiences for the boys. The food was INCREDIBLE. The boys got seconds and thirds of all the options and the serving staff was phenomenal. Bonus Buckboard was generous enough to provide dinner for our boys at a cost we could afford. Thank you for the wonderful food and team dinner. We have frequented the restaurant many times since then and every dinner was amazing. El Cajon has a GEM in Buckboard BBQ.“

“Due to a move and other factors, I hadn't been to The Cork and Craft for several years. I took some friends on Saturday 4/13 and had another excellent experience. The ambience is stellar, the food was delicious (Nashville hot chicken sandwich, salmon poke, seared salmon) and the service was top notch. The star of the evening was Gavin H. He is young, engaging and witty. And he didn't miss a beat (homemade potato chips aside!)“

Special was Chicken Shawarma with fries for 12 bucks. Large portion great fries. Was surprised how tasty and clean-tasting the food was...Extensive Beer selection on tap was great. Service was friendly and attentive, especially Aidan and Kory. Aidan is hysterical with a grand sense of humor...hoping to return before I head home. The local and friendly atmosphere not what I was expecting nor how many people were there as appeared to be a complete hole-in-the wall. “I came here last night for the first time in a long time. I was instantly greeted by the cashier, Tyler A (I hope that's his name, it was written on the receipt lol.) He was so friendly, kind and helpful! He even went out of his way to hand me the bag when it was all ready! Great customer service! I ordered the Baja Beef, spicy Roast Beef and 2 quesadillas. The baja and roast beef were supposed to be "spicy" but they really weren't. However, my family and I still enjoyed them! Their signature sauce is SO GOOD too! I will definitely be back!“
“Wanted a place close to Mira Mesa and had never been since it changed ownership or rebranding to become a sports bar/pool. We sat outside and ordered from the happy hour menu. The bar pretzels and cheese and vegetarian cheese balls were the highlight. We had burger and pulled pork sliders, fries and samosas. We also ordered drinks at happy hour price. It was a good experience overall. Not fine dining but we left satisfied for a good price.“

They tried to seat me outside. They said 45 minutes wait inside or 30 minutes outside (“we have heaters on the patio”).So, I said I’ll wait to sit inside.They text me within 5-10 minutes. Table inside is ready.I get great service once I’m seated. The food was average. Average-Higher prices. I had a cheese enchilada which was bland. I had a chile relleno that was okay. The bean burrito was the best part. Even the nachos with cheese were better looking than tasting.The Ice cream scoop will satisfy a moderate sweet tooth craving.I’ve been blessed with authentic Mexican cuisine, and I would not say you will find that here.
