“Recently moved to the area and decided to stop in on New Years Eve for an early dinner. The place wasn't too busy, but still had a great vibe. We were greeted by Jade, who was super friendly and explained each of the flavors of the Hard Kombuchas and even let us try a few! I had the Key Lime Pie. Their sushi menu is extensive, and has the basic sushi rolls and also specialities. Jade also knew a lot about the menu and the rolls, and recommended the moonlight roll and the grandview. We also got other items on the menu. Overall, we highly enjoyed the place and are happy we have a taproom/sushi in our new home!!“
“In from out of town and this was our first stop, after many hours in the car. This place was on our radar coming into town and it was really busy (told us it was good) midday on a Saturday. Considering the crowd the service was pretty fast. Pizza was really good and we wanted to go back but never was able to get back. Had out two dogs and they were welcomed on their front patio area under the tent… even brought water for them.Pepperoni pizza was loved by our kids. Parents had the margarita pizza and a few hazy ipa beers, and loved them all. Dogs had scraps and crumbs they snarfed under the picnic tables, and they seemed pleased as well.“
“I would give them 10 stars. ?We arrived at the place 30 minutes before closing and even so the staff's attention was super friendly. I was amazed by the good disposition at all times and of course by the excellent quality of the food. The unique flavor. Definitely, as soon as possible, I will go to eat their delicacies. I congratulate you for having excellence in everything.“
“Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a low sugared, 5% alcoholic content beverage. Kove has a good number of choices, various samples and flavors to try (nice of the staff, who were friendly and welcoming). The entire place has a great atmosphere, indoor seating as well as outdoor setup. Kome on by to try the best yerba mate I have ever had.“
“I have had many great experiences here. I usually sit up at the bar and the staff are all super knowledgeable and friendly. One thing to note is that it can get really crowded on days that are sunny/summer days when the beach is crowded. This goes for all of downtown Encinitas. Lots of people bring their dogs as well so that is a huge plus“
“Much better than past visits. Too many times you're just ignored by the teenage cashier or food is just not cared for due to being busy. Place was busy, but it was clear management was on it that night (Mon 3/11) could see some guests were just plain rude or disrespectful, but the staff kept with it and killed it with kindness, service and stuck with the quality of food you'd expect for a place with the name, "Best Pizza?". Glad to be back home and see such a turn around“
“What a gem! Ambiance is wine shop and old rhymes. Love that you can pick out a bottle and drink it there or get a glass from the wine list. Small bites like flatbread and cheese samplers. No kitchen food. Servers love wine and are super helpful with suggestions. See what you like and you can even become a member. Special wine dinners and tasting events. Can't wait to go back for more sips.“
“Good assortment of different beers, they’ve come a long way in their brewing, much more refined than initially…Liquid Jam, if left to warm up a little, gets a very floral taste… same happens to the ther of their beers, once they are not as cold, taste much better. As all breweries, the beers are served colder than they should…“
“LOVE the pizza! Genuinely some of the best in San Diego, hands down. Highly customizable and I love that they have vegan options, super cool! Had a bit of an odd experience tonight with an employee making fun of my name within earshot of my boyfriend who was picking up my order. I get that I have a unique name, but maybe wait til the customer is out of earshot before laughing and repeatedly making jokes about it to your coworkers? Totally realize that she probably thought my bf was picking up an order as a delivery driver instead of being the customer. Still, didn’t love that moment. Other than that mildly off-putting experience, this is the best pizza in town!!! 10000/10, highly recommend!! You won’t be disappointed ?Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian and vegan options!!!!“
“Delicious! I've gotten the Social and Chili, and they were both delicious! The social is extremely flavorful but MESSY and greasy. The egg is drippy and messy but I'll always add it. The chili is also delicious and the pita is so soft! The people are super friendly and the price is fair considering everywhere else on campus is just the same price but smaller servings. I always go during lunch time and it's not too bad. There's definitely a rush but it doesn't get loud, and you can sit inside or outside. The food comes out fast so that's a plus for me since I'm on a time crunch!10/10 recommend if you're on campus and have time to sit down and eat!“
“I enjoyed the open air atmosphere of this place. It has a very relaxing vibe. They also have a dog area if you want to bring your pooch. Our server's name was Dominic who made us feel welcomed. The pizza was so good, we had to take an extra one home.“
“Had an absolutely amazing dinner there tonight with friends. We are all very good cooks, so always very appreciative of excellent food. Everything we had this evening was prepared inspiringly well, which is not a common thing to find in San Diego restaurants. Two of us ordered one the specials, Eggplant Parmigiana. We were in agreement it was perhaps the best ever (and there have been many tried over the years!). Another had the Carbonara, which was truly a don’t-miss work of art. What the restaurant lacks in ambiance, it certainly makes up for in amazing food, excellent service, and warm and caring owners/wait staff. We’ll definitely tell friends and will most certainly visit often!“
“Absolutely incredible location in Leucadia with a chill atmosphere and welcoming tap room.First-time caller, so I went with a flight, obvs., of both West Coast as well as Double IPA's.Good but not great (hence the four stars), but gawddamn, Leucadia FTW, as this spot definitely wins for Location, Location, Location.Paz.“
“Not one to write reviews but this place is so great! Our office is closing and I am bummed I won't be around as much. The fried pickles with ranch are absolutely amazing. The grilled chicken sandwich was crazy fresh and juicy. Employees are also awesome everytime. Highly recommend for lunch! Great prices too.“
“The best brewery in the area. If you like beer you have to come here. We come here a lot when we are visiting and for good reason. The beer is so good, the atmosphere is great, and they are dog friendly (the whole square is). It’s never too rowdy and the beer is always delicious and well crafted. They also have nice clean bathrooms and TV for sports people.Parking: We have always been able to find parking here no matter how busy its been.“
“Went here today with my family to grab a beer and some appetizers. We enjoyed the food as well as there craft beers. The waiter we had was very good at describing the different beers they had to offer. We sat in an open air area which had an awesome coastal breeze. Nice relaxing place would definitely go there again.“
“Staff at this location goes above and beyond! The bartenders here always have a great attitude and provide excellent customer service! I normally frequent Scripps Harland location but the mood and the staff here at One Paseo really exceed. Thank you for providing amazing beer food and customer service to everyone who visits.“
“Immediately upon walking in, we felt so welcome. The "slave" as he called himself was so friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic! So well prepared and tasty. Great portions, great options. And the atmosphere! Wow. It's a beautiful place, and the staff made it feel that much more! Beautiful. We loved this place!“
“OMG, the beer here is fantastic. It's different, fruity, almost like a juice bar, with a kick. I tried the 'Green Jello Smoothie Ale'. Totally delicious. One is not enough. I am prefer a blonde or stout ale and stay away from the fruity beers, but wow, this one was good. The service is very good, the server was more than happy to tell us about their beers. The place was much like you would expect at a place that was in its infancy, bare bones but not too bad. I have been to worse. It was wrestling night and there was a ring outside & some amateur wrestlers, fun stuff. When friends come into town, I'll take them there.“
“Casual, family style restaurant with a slight emphasis on Mexican style dishes, and of course seafood. Food is very fresh, we had excellent grilled shrimp tonight. Grab a menu and order at the counter, food is brought to your table. Large windows with a nice view West and North towards the ocean, in downtown Cardiff. Not fancy, but have always had great food here. They also have an excellent selection of their own local t-shirts Etc“
“Best sandwich shop around. This is the original one and its in the best location. Easy to take one to-go and bring it to the beach, or stay and have an ice cold brew while there. You must get their sauce if you go. In my opinion it what makes the sandwich SO incredibly good. I usually get the cold ones (turkado) but i have had the chicken sandwich as well which was great.“
“I really like this place a lot! They had ample seating, a bar, and really good pizza! Service was friendly as well. I stopped by here during happy hour and the food was very reasonably priced. I got a drink and two slices for under $10 which was reasonable since the slices are a good size. Definitely coming back here! Thanks so much!Vegetarian options: They have cheese pizza and the margarita pizza is delicious, especially with a side of marinara sauce. Unfortunately I did not see any vegan options.“
“I had the most incredible experience at this brewery, and I simply can't stop raving about it! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and enthusiasm by the amazing beer tenders, Carley and Chris.Carley and Chris are true beer connoisseurs, and their passion for their craft is evident in every pour. They took the time to explain the brewery's offerings, guiding me through their diverse selection of beers with expert knowledge and genuine enthusiasm. Whether you're a seasoned beer enthusiast or a novice looking to explore, Carley and Chris will make you feel right at home. Not only were they knowledgeable about the beers, but their customer service was impeccable. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was nothing short of exceptional. Their recommendations were spot-on, and I discovered some new favorites thanks to their expert guidance. The atmosphere of the brewery itself was inviting and cozy, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some delicious brews. The combination of great beer and the outstanding service from Carley and Chris made this visit truly memorable. In a world filled with breweries, this one stands out not only for its outstanding beer selection but also for the exceptional team behind the bar. Carley and Chris are the heart and soul of this place, and their dedication to providing an amazing beer-tasting experience is truly commendable. I can't wait to return and enjoy more incredible beers and the warm hospitality of Carley and Chris. If you're a beer lover, this brewery is an absolute must-visit, and Carley and Chris will make your visit unforgettable. Cheers to them and to an outstanding brewery experience!“
“When we travel to SoCal we make Thursday oyster night an event on our calendar. From 4 to 6 oysters are $1.25 each - a great deal! We always get 2 dozen assorted (which is now the limit) plus a few extra items. The salads are fantastic. I recommend upgrading to the ahi or scallops. The scallops taco is also good. Scallops are not overcooked and rubbery, which I appreciate. I don't recommend anything deep-fried. French fries were barely warm and were not very crisp. Onion rings have too much batter, so we ended up peeling off a lot of uncooked dough. The calamari we ordered one visit had a heavy layer of batter. Wine is a little overpriced for such a casual place. The service is great when not too busy, with very friendly staff. They really only ring up your order at the counter and bring it to your table. We love the atmosphere but usually eat inside so we don't have to listen to traffic. If you focus on fresh seafood you will really enjoy this place.“
“Yummy sandwiches at the Board and Brew in UTC. We order the turkado and the tub o tuna sandwiches which come with their great signature sauce. Very nice staff and the sandwiches came out quickly. Plenty of indoor and outdoor dog friendly seating. Recommend!“
“If you’re vegetarian and craving pizza, Dough Momma is the place to be. I’m not a thin crust kind of gal but their toppings surpassing my favorite pizza joint.I had the Burrata Margherita ($29), class cheese ($22) and Vegan (23).The margherita is one of the two highest price pizzas on the menu. Make sense because it’s all fresh ingredients with tomatoes, Burrata, mozzarella, no sauce but drizzle with a white garlic sauce and garnished with basil.I never eat cheese pizza but I love the cheese pizza here. Basic red sauce mozzarella. I like it because it had more sauce than cheese. If you want to know if a place is good, check out the cheese pizza. Dough Momma passes the test! The Vegan was fully loaded spinach, olives, red onions, roasted tomatoes, herbs and balsamic reduction. Some pizzas are offered by the slice. At first glance, the garlic knots could pass as a mini cinnamon roll! They have cookies and wide selection of beers and alcohol.Parking sucks but it’s in a cute neighborhood with outdoor seating.“
“This place is an incredible hidden gem. The food is extremely good, an excellent selection of beers on tap, and very nice people working here. Love the patio area and the prices are great. It’s a gastropub with indian chinese fusion, and it all pairs extremely well with a pint of beer.“
“Donato's has the same quality and menu items as many similar taco shops in the area. Their food is about equal to Rigoberto's and better than Roberto's. Their fish taco is not as good as Rubio's.Their lot is in a small shared strip mall with numerous other good restaurants. Parking may be a challenge. This location used to be a Roberto's many years ago. It seems like they did not change the interior or even the booths when they took it over. That is not a problem, just nostalgic. Thor pricing is slightly lower than comparable taco shops, but the quantity seems on par with others. The people who work here are usually friendlier than comparable shops and are not prejudiced like elsewhere or at least don't show it. On the whole, Donato's is worth a try to see if they make ur favorite menu items elsewhere to an equal or superior quality at a slightly lower price.“
“While the center this location is in is crazy busy they do a great job at keeping up with the busy pace. The service is great, the food arrived promptly, the clean up by staff was ongoing, who can complain. You can always count on the quality of food. If you get a sandwich you must get the chips too! Honestly, great spot with outdoor seating that was very nice and welcoming even on a busy day with a large group. Thumbs up!“
