“We had a lovely pre-show dinner at Lana. Our server was very attentive. The cocktails were unique and delicious. We had the corn soup, roasted chicken and mushroom pizza. I’d go back for that chicken, super savory and perfectly cooked. The pizza has a light and airy crust, very good! Exceeded my expectations.”

“It was a fine enough winery. The staff was great; the wine was okay. Ambiance was nice. The cheese was worth the value. Wouldn't avoid, but can't recommend going out of one's way.”

“We arrived at 9:30 and were seated in the patio right away. It was a beautiful morning perfect for eating outside. Plenty of shade so it was very comfortable. My quinoa Benedict was delicious, my wife enjoyed her avocado toast (superb). We love coming to Claire’s.”

“My wife and I dined here tonight for our 5 year anniversary. The staff is super nice and the service is amazing. The walkways are a little tight it feels a bit packed in - but they are trying to optimize for seating space and comfort. Our server was John he has worked at the resturante for over 20 years. He was really funny he told us a joke that make me laugh really hard. He said you know the 3 rings of marriage don't you? The engagement 'ring'. The wedding 'ring'. And finally the suffe-'ring'! Haha. The owner came by and said watch this place is going to be packed. He said I wish Monday was a Sunday so we could be packed again. The food was great the service was top notch. Trust me my wife is super picky. Not a cheap dinner out. In terms of a special dinner - or celebrating something nice you will be pleased with the result and price. Again my wife is extremely picky (tries to be GF) and she was very happy (she said it feels like we are on one of great cruise trip dinners with celebrity! that's a very high compliment for her - very rare - she loves a good cruising experience!). We will be coming back again. Thank you Pamplemousse Grill for making my wife happy!

“We were in town visiting family in Solana Beach and had many options to eat dinner but my sister who lives here was adamant this was where he had to eat our last dinner. Man was she right. From the service, to the steaks, to the side dishes, deserts, and especially the service, Rare Society exceeded our expectations. There was also A-list celebrity couple eating right next to us inconspicuously enjoying no doubt the same experience we were. If you are in Solana Beach or visiting, this is top on our list.”

Even my gluten eating fiancé was impressed and said he couldn’t tell it was gf. The honey nut bread is tasty and so was the cookie that I sampled. I’m excited to try all the things!”

“Such a nice, big space in a great location. The bartender was super sweet to my boys and gave them a doggy biscuit and they have multiple water bowls. It is dog friendly inside and out, but with a pretty day we sat outside. 9 more dogs ended up coming while we sipped our drink, all were happy and welcomed. Nice, crisp beer”

“Good food, with great vegetarian options. I tried the the translucence wrap, and really enjoyed the quinoa and salad sides. Service was good, with food coming out quickly. Do wish they had calories in all their food options but only a few have it.”

“Wonderful little wine bar! We loved our Chardonnay. Nice assortment of wines. Almonds and olives were great. We were curious about the orange wine but didn’t want to order. Our server, Feliciano, was kind enough to bring us a small sample before we left so we could taste which was very thoughtful.

Only reason I give atmosphere 4 stars is because it’s very loud inside. Other than that, it’s great! Outdoor patio is lovely if you can snag a table.”

“Lofty in Solana Beach completely blew me away. The staff goes above and beyond to make the experience great, which is so refreshing. I tried the iced Salted Caramel Latte, and it actually tastes like real caramel—not overly sweet or artificial like most places. As for the food: the Sausage, Egg, and Cheddar Croissant is a must-order, and getting a warm chocolate chip cookie topped with sea salt was the ultimate treat. Can't recommend this spot enough!”

The Mac n Cheese with brisket was a recommendation from the fabulous Tracy and it was incredibly delicious. Everything was so good that we returned the next night!! Highly recommend SB Kitchen.”

“Placed an order for 45 box lunches and a catering box…to all be picked up at 10:30am today. I know the Jersey Mike’s guys had to come in early to get it all ready. They were all smiles when we swiped up to pick up the order. Everything was FLAWLESS! Everything was fresh and ready on time. The entire UCSB lacrosse team was well fed, leaving nothing behind. “The food was delicious! Everyone I went with was happy with the mix of sweet and savory dishes we got. The lavender matcha latte was a bit disappointing though because of the color and flavor. I asked for additional syrup in order to taste the lavender and it didn't look purple like what my friend and I thought it should look like based on the menu's graphic.

It was also a little weird how we were at first split into two groups so we sat at two different tables, probably because space-wise it was more suitable for smaller parties. Once some customers at a nearby table left, we were able to combine tables and sit together as one group. I guess that couldn't be helped though since it would be difficult to rearrange people while they're still dining.

Overall it was great so I would eat here again! I'd just be more mindful of bringing smaller groups here next time and making more time to find parking.”

I live in Encinitas but come to Solana EVERY TIME for pure bowl!”

“If you are in the fashion district of Solana Beach or going to a concert at the Belly Up and are looking for great little Sushi place, go to Kai Ola Sushi! My wife and I were looking for a place to get some food prior to a concert at the Belly Up and came upon this great little restaurant. The vibe and atmosphere is very cool, the Sushi was delicious, and the service was great! The Sushi chef was very personable and friendly and even educated us on some of the Sushi rolls he was preparing, while we sat and ate at the Sushi bar.”

It’s not some light “breakfast lite” option; this is a proper burger built for breakfast that actually fills you up like a lunch or dinner item. “One of those places where you don’t want to believe the poor reviews but by the time you leave they make sense. Definitely slow service regardless of how busy it is. Solid menu but even for the location it’s pricey. Bloody Mary is almost a scam for what you get. Portions on the smaller side, forgot to take a photo or two. The vibes are good and it feels rustic but will not return.”

“It's kind of cool to eat at a sushi bar with mostly outdoor seating and sports on the TVs, though there are a few seats inside at the sushi bar itself.

Overall, it was a decent experience. The food was average and the portions were large. The service was great. For parking, there's street parking as well as a small dedicated lot behind the building.”

“$10 for a sandwich in this economy is an absolute steal. I got the fig, bacon, and brie panini, which was a perfect combination after a hike. There was a slight taste of ginger, which I was confused about. I wish it was a little bit warmer, but it would’ve been cold if I had taken it to the beach anyway (which was my original plan). There are some really cute picnic benches outside and free water inside.”

“First time here. Fun atmosphere and pretty good food. Ordered a family sized salad, and was a good size. Too much for four people. Ordered a large sausage and pepperoni pizza, again, too much for four people. I was very impressed with the amount of cheese and toppings that were on it! Will be back when I'm back in town.”
