“The oysters were fresh and juicy. I had Grilled mixed which included three different meat selections, good for those who's very indecisive like myself.I also tried a bite of both seabass and cod. Really like the taste and texture of the cod (don't remember the name of the dish), but the seabass was a bit dry for me.We still ordered some dessert when everyone was so full, the "peach" one was not too sweet and not too heavy after the main course.Overall, the food/service was good but pricey.”
“Heard great things about the food here, and it did not disappoint!Stand outs:* The Laffa bread is made to order, and it is hands down the best bread I’ve ever eaten in my life. We ordered two because one wasn’t enough!* The basque cheesecake lives rent free in my head. Technically perfect and the flavor was so good, not super sweet, texture was perfection, like silk.* Gambas/Shrimp… the presentation was so beautiful and I took quite a few photos, but the flavor is what I remember even more. I don’t know how to explain it, but when you get sauce on your plate like this, you have to eat every last drop. Which we did - lapped it up with the second order of Laffa bread!* The salad was so fresh and well balanced. Like something made with love for the ingredients. Textures were on point and I believe the chef has his own garden where he gets seasonal ingredients. We loved it!10/10 will go again. Need to try some of the other items stat.”
“Had a great time with close friends and friends of friends enjoying the Zin, Petite Syrah and chilled Pinot Noir and snacks! Also loved the amazing wood furniture decor and lively crowd - oh sorry we were the lovely crowd!”
“Best pizza I have had In the area, in a while! We ordered several different pizzas, crime scene, BBQ chicken, pepperoni and a gluten free olives/sausage. My personal favorite was the Crime Scene, fresh ricotta and the meatballs were a great combination! Delivery was spot on their time estimate which made planning dinner for a group easy. 10/10 will be ordering from here again and we highly recommend it.”
“This is our second visit to Rare Society and just like the last time, food, ambience and customer service were top notch. We started out with the Parker House Rolls (yummy) and for the entrée, I ordered the filet mignon with a side of onion rings and a Coronado Brewing Company IPA, while Shelly had the tri tip with onion rings. Both very good choices.”
“This was a very pleasant surprise for us. We went here for a March madness day for lunch, not expecting much. The food was fantastic… the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was 5/5, the hangover burger was a 5/5, the kids loved their meals too. Beer selection was solid, volume of TVs was more than enough, and the service was top notch. We actually wanted to go again the next day and got stuck in typical socal traffic and it got too late… next time in town I guess.”
“Perfect brunch spot! My friends and I met here for our brunch ritual. The bottomless mimosas flowed from the beginning to the end! Food was delicious but the service was even better thanks to Heidi! We will definitely be back.”

“Wow! What an incredible gem we found. We read the reviews and decided to try it out. It exceeded expectations. The drinks we had were delicious from organic wine and tropical IPA. Then came our meal. We’ve lived in London and Minneapolis and we know fish and chips as a staple meal but the batter and airiness of this dish was the best we have ever had. The muscles appetizer (our fighter eats as a meal) was one of the best she ever had. Their take on clam chowder was delightful and delicious. Followed by a great dessert for a cherry on top of a great experience. We will be back when we are in the area.Parking: Lots of spots available. No pid parking required.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu had five different options. Lots of options to make your child’s heart sing.”
“Nice family atmosphere. Locally famous. Busy during weekends. I’d recommend reservations. Lots of options in the menu. Recommend full meal with rice and beans. Pay your meal at the counter. There’s parking on site.Cheers”
“Their coconut mango french toast is pretty good! Got a side of vegan sausage and a kombucha. Came here during Aug of 2022, writing a review now since I got yelp super recently.”
“Pillbox had good reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Solid slightly above pub grub style food, good beer selection and friendly staff. Can’t go wrong. Really liked the overall feel of this place, and would be a regular if I lived in the area.”
“Had a nice little breakfast sandwich and coffee. Five Star Service by John the cashier. He was pleasant, more than helpful, and welcoming. I’m going back tomorrow to Thank John and to order the Mexican sweet coffee.Clara”
“Best Thai I’ve ever had. Every time I come back we get new dishes only to be blown away yet again. Absolutely phenomenal food, service and atmosphere. You will not be disappointed. This spot is guaranteed to end up on your top favorites list.Tom kha soup is the best broth I’ve ever tried, the duck curry is easily the best curry of any kind I’ve had, and the Thai bbq ribs are just outrageously good. This place never misses.”
