“We LOVE this bar! Everyone we know has a life-changing story that took place in this iconic bar. The staff is so friendly, the guests are charming and the drinks are cheap. Can you ask for anything more? Oh yeah! It’s literally a block from the beach.“

“One of the best steak experiences we have had any where. The food was amazing. Absolutely try the steak sampler boards I believe the smaller one is good for 2-3. It was really worth it. The bread was also amazing. The service was top notch. If looking for a exquisite steak experience this is the place.“

“I ordered sashimi at the sushi bar for lunch also had 2 piece Ikura (salmon roe) and a soft shell crab appetizer. Fish was very fresh it was obvious since they were still breaking it down in front of me. 2 guys on the sushi bar 3 in the back and one waitress. I was probably 2nd customer and only person at the bar. I got a weird look from waitress when I asked for the bar and she had to ask one of the guys if it was ok. I soon realized that it was not a real sushi bar after I looked at the menu and realized that they did not have sashimi on the menu.
When I go to a new place I usually order sashimi before I look at a menu because I know what I want.
The place filled up quick and the one waitress was running hard but the guys at the bar took care of me. Fresh fish good beer and sake I was very happy.
Music was very loud and irritating some kind of pop but the guys had no problem turning it down (they did not like it either).
I found it strange that they were pre-cutting the fish into slices but I guess if you are doing production that makes sense, I just have never seen it.
I read a lot of the reviews and part of the problem is people going to a sushi bar for something other than sushi. On the other hand if a restaurant is going to offer it it should be good.
Spent $120 after tip but it was at the coast on pch so location and all. Not to much more than my normal spot maybe $20 or so.
I was happy with my dining experience.“

“A Hidden Gem in an Office Park: A Night at The WineSeller & Brasserie You wouldn’t expect to find a culinary treasure tucked away in an office park, but The WineSeller defies all expectations. Downstairs, it’s a literal wine cellar where patrons can store their own bottles. Upstairs, you step into a dining room that feels like a delightful throwback to the ‘90s—nostalgic in the best possible way. What made our experience truly exceptional was the personalized seven-course tasting menu. Our friend had a collection of his own wines stored there and gave them to Lisa, the warm and welcoming owner. She and Chef Oscar then crafted a menu specifically to pair with those wines. The result was simply unforgettable. Every course was amazing, but a couple stood out as pure genius. One highlight was a half lobster served two ways: one side topped with beef tartare, the other with lobster tartare. As someone who loves tasting menus, I was blown away by the creativity. Another standout was the clams with chorizo in a broth that was just out of this world. And who knew chicken could be so extraordinary? The chicken roulade was unbelievably tender and flavorful. Finally, the venison with mole sauce was cooked to absolute perfection and left us all speechless. Chef Oscar’s talent and humility shone through each dish, and Lisa’s hospitality made the night even more special. While we didn’t try the regular menu, I have no doubt it’s just as delightful. If you’re looking for a unique dining experience with a personal touch, The WineSeller is a must-visit.“
“This is Del Mars hidden gem for sure! We have dined next door a dozen times and never noticed this hidden little cocktail bar right in front of our eyes. The atmosphere is great, service is perfect but the star really was the cocktails. We got a few rounds but my favourite was the beet margarita hands down. Very fun, great job to La Tienda!“
“They put us in a windowless back room for Valentine's Day. Every couple in there looked super disappointed when they realized we were in a closed room (converted storage closet) next to the bathrooms. Also, I needed a steak knife to eat my chicken. The other items we ordered were drowning in chunks of raw garlic or syrupy sauce. Overall it was poor dining experience.“

“We had a birthday dinner for my one year old son and the staff was so accommodating and friendly and as usual, the food and drinks were incredible! They put in my son’s food order right away, offered him berries for his birthday dessert and they didn’t rush us out (we were a party of 9). We love this restaurant and will definitely be going back for more celebrations!“

“The Leucadian is the kind of dive bar you rarely find anymore — and that’s what makes it great. It’s laid-back, unpretentious, and full of character. The drinks are strong, the music is solid, and the regulars and bartenders make you feel right at home. Whether you're catching a game, playing pool, or just hanging out with friends, it’s always a good time.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a true local vibe in Encinitas.“

“Went to breakfast here with my parents. We had such a nice time. View was fabulous. Food was delicious. And Mario, our server, was very nice too. Parents are elderly so was easy to park walkers and restrooms were easy to access. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Will be returning for sure!“

“My bride and I just spent 4 nights at the hotel. It was very nice. The restaurant, to us, is the crown jewel. We had a superb dinner. The seafood was fabulous, our server (Steven) was a delight and of course the sunset! We had breakfast on our last morning and it was very good! We came here years ago when it was Elarios and we were not disappointed this time either! We will return!“
“Wonderful bar in the Hotel L’Aubarge in Del Mar. Bartenders Blake and Leo are awesome but all who work there are awesome. Great vegetable crudités that looks like you are pulling vegies out of a garden but taste delicious (just don’t eat the stems, they are a little bitter) ? Live music, amazing views especially at sunset. Thank you as always
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible“
“While enjoying drinks and dinner with my wife in the lobby, there was a drunk individual who was escorted out by Devon, the security manager. I was truly impressed by Devon's remarkable composure and professionalism. It is evident that he is exceptional at his job.“

“You ever have one of those life defining or life changing moments? This might be one of mine. There is something special in these hard frescas. Or it could just be the chips and salsa flight talking. Either way, fantastic drinks and delicious selection of salsas. Thank you for sharing these drinks, cheers to the next 🐷🍒🌶️🍻“
“The location was a little bit difficult to find, but once you’re there, everyone is super welcoming and helps to get you to this location. I went to one building found parking but then couldn’t access the elevator because you need a badge. Eventually I found my way in.
I ordered their speciality latte, but they were all out of their mocha flavor so they gave me a mocha syrup instead. It was a really yummy latte.“

“I love that they have flavors you can’t get anywhere else, I really love the pineapple passion and the pear-lime flavors! The two bartenders have always gone above and beyond. I highly recommend this spot!
It’s also a great place to go with a group because you can order food from any of the restaurants downstairs.
Note for parents: There are no high chairs but it’s kid friendly and there are regular tables and chairs on the patio/deck.“

“Great hotel restaurant & bar! 🙌 I stayed at this hotel for a couple weeks for work. I had the buffalo wings, burger & fries, carnitas tacos, and garden salad with chicken. I highly recommend them all. All were very tasty/well made and I was pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes.
A huge highlight of our experience was the staff, especially Samuel. He was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable on drinks, and made great conversation. He’s a great addition to the Country Inn & Suites staff.“

“Great food . Well prepared and tasty , but a rowdy table with loud guests ruined the atmosphere and enjoyment. I asked management to calm the table down , but nothing was done.“
“Nice restaurant! Came in with group of 12 & was sat in back.Server was nice & friendly. Food was pretty good! The risotto with our scallops was under cooked though (crunchy!), so they re-did that. They mentioned that it's usually al-dente, but it was too crunchy for our taste :(.We were unable to order dessert, due to the kitchen closing. The rib eye was excellent though & cooked great! Our daughter had the mosaic burger & said it was delicious.Clean restaurant & easy to find parking on the property. Collected to the Sheraton hotel... beautiful walk to the sundial Bridge, too!“

“Had a late lunch with friends on a rainy Sunday. It was pouring rain, the only way to park in the restaurant parking lot was to valet, otherwise you have to park on the street or further away in another parking lot. The food, service and view was excellent. I couldn't help but to notice how stained the dining chairs were and the tables looked worn and tired. It's too bad the management doesn't see this and address it. The prices are very reasonable, it's worth a try if you love fresh Italian cuisine.“
