“It's kind of cool to eat at a sushi bar with mostly outdoor seating and sports on the TVs, though there are a few seats inside at the sushi bar itself.

Overall, it was a decent experience. The food was average and the portions were large. The service was great. For parking, there's street parking as well as a small dedicated lot behind the building.“

Downstairs, it’s a literal wine cellar where patrons can store their own bottles. Upstairs, you step into a dining room that feels like a delightful throwback to the ‘90s—nostalgic in the best possible way. What made our experience truly exceptional was the personalized seven-course tasting menu. Our friend had a collection of his own wines stored there and gave them to Lisa, the warm and welcoming owner. She and Chef Oscar then crafted a menu specifically to pair with those wines. The result was simply unforgettable. Every course was amazing, but a couple stood out as pure genius. One highlight was a half lobster served two ways: one side topped with beef tartare, the other with lobster tartare. As someone who loves tasting menus, I was blown away by the creativity. Another standout was the clams with chorizo in a broth that was just out of this world. And who knew chicken could be so extraordinary? The chicken roulade was unbelievably tender and flavorful. Finally, the venison with mole sauce was cooked to absolute perfection and left us all speechless. Chef Oscar’s talent and humility shone through each dish, and Lisa’s hospitality made the night even more special. While we didn’t try the regular menu, I have no doubt it’s just as delightful. If you’re looking for a unique dining experience with a personal touch, The WineSeller is a must-visit.“

I believe our server was Henry and he was absolutely excellent! He had a wonderful personality and perfect customer service skills. “Wonderful bar in the Hotel L’Aubarge in Del Mar. Bartenders Blake and Leo are awesome but all who work there are awesome. Great vegetable crudités that looks like you are pulling vegies out of a garden but taste delicious (just don’t eat the stems, they are a little bitter) ? “I’m almost hesitant to write this because I don’t want it to get too crowded, but The Kitchen at Torrey Pines and The Clubhouse deserve the love.

We live nearby and have been coming for almost a year, and everything has been consistently great. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful with ocean views, and the staff is genuinely friendly. Chef Fernando is always welcoming, and the team is very accommodating when we bring our kids.

Some of our favorites are the birria tacos, poke, turkey club with fries, and carnitas tacos. The Clubhouse is also a favorite for pastries, coffee, happy hour, and Taco Tuesday. The pastries are seriously so good and always changing, and the drinks, tacos, and small bites have all been great.

So happy this gem opened in our neighborhood. Easy 5 stars.

Tips: Order online if you’re in a rush. Pickup is easy with garage parking or by pulling up near The Kitchen. Open Monday–Friday only.

“Great hotel restaurant & bar! 🙌 I stayed at this hotel for a couple weeks for work. I had the buffalo wings, burger & fries, carnitas tacos, and garden salad with chicken. I highly recommend them all. All were very tasty/well made and I was pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes.

A huge highlight of our experience was the staff, especially Samuel. He was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable on drinks, and made great conversation. He’s a great addition to the Country Inn & Suites staff.“

This was the perfect spot. Aaron was our server and he was wonderful. Between the 4 of us, we sipped 2 Hugo Spritzs , 1 Bloody Mary and one beer....all created using their unique recipes and all were delicious. I'd highly recommend any of them. Our salads and sandwiches were tasty but quite large, so either split them or go with a hearty appetite. The venue overlooking the Pacific is gorgeous,the service is outstanding and bar drinks are top notch. You won't be disappointed. Trust me.“

“My bride and I just spent 4 nights at the hotel. It was very nice. The restaurant, to us, is the crown jewel. We had a superb dinner. The seafood was fabulous, our server (Steven) was a delight and of course the sunset! We had breakfast on our last morning and it was very good! It was pouring rain, the only way to park in the restaurant parking lot was to valet, otherwise you have to park on the street or further away in another parking lot. The food, service and view was excellent. I couldn't help but to notice how stained the dining chairs were and the tables looked worn and tired. It's too bad the management doesn't see this and address it. The prices are very reasonable, it's worth a try if you love fresh Italian cuisine.“

“I thought it was enjoyable. Not only the beer, but the brewery itself was unique. They did have a food vendor in the front, but I did not eat. They have mostly indoor, and a couple picnic tables outside which. It’s hard to compare this location with the other burgeon locations because they are all so different. Wish they would offer a Happy Hour or a featured/discounted beer like how Harland and Pizzaport does.“

“We love Shores. With football now starting, it is not so great. It is known as a Packers bar. Today there were 6 Packers fan and the rest of the other team fans had to listen to the loud Packers game. Also, one bartender saved seats for over 2 hours for people who didn't show up. That is not right for everyone who shiftwd seats to accommodate the regular guests. Not "shore" if we'll be back during football. I hope Pete figures it out.“
