Great location for views and impeccable service. The food was very good as well but even for everything this good, it's way overpriced with small servings of food. The 5% mandatory surcharge is enough to make me not come back. It is up to the restaurant to pay their employees from the proceeds from the meal price. I simply subtract their mandatory 5% from my customary 20% tip. This cannot be allowed to become an accepted practice.
We've eaten at the Mediterranean restaurant many times and love the ambiance, food and service. Very good friends were visiting and we wanted to take them somewhere special to celebrate a birthday. This was the perfect spot. Aaron was our server and he was wonderful. Between the 4 of us, we sipped 2 Hugo Spritzs , 1 Bloody Mary and one beer....all created using their unique recipes and all were delicious. I'd highly recommend any of them. Food here was amazing, I loved the clam chowder and the ribeye. My party also ordered salmon, and the salmon was not as fresh as we expected, but overall everything else was nice! Loved that there was a live band and a good ocean view from the side dining area!

La Sala Lounge offers an excellent ambiance and service. The restaurant's staff goes above and beyond to make special occasions memorable. The view is stunning, and the servers are attentive. The ahi tuna salad and salmon additions to salads are notable menu items. Despite some minor flaws, the no-rush atmosphere and beautiful view make for a pleasant dining experience.
