“We came here with our dog on a rainy Saturday night. We were so glad to find a place with a covered patio. But then we were pleasantly surprised with how amazing the beer and pizza were. Duh. It’s in the name. lol. Anyhow there was some confusion about our pizza but Donny went above and beyond to make it right. It was a little hectic because it was so busy but if we weren’t visiting we’d definitely be regulars. Try the Detroit style hot honey, I’ll be dreaming about it.“

From start to finish, the team was incredibly professional and made the entire process seamless. They brought their wood-fired pizza oven along with all of the tables and supplies needed, making setup completely stress-free for us.

The team was so kind and friendly to both us and our guests, and they were making fresh pizzas in what felt like minutes, it was incredible to watch! Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the pizza was all night long. We are so happy we chose Criscito Pizza to be a part of our wedding day and would highly recommend them! “Heard about this place while visiting the area on vacation. Have to admit, initially came for the atmosphere and amazing skateboarding vibe. Was pleasantly surprised at how incredible the food is! Staff was super pleasant and did a great job interpreting our noticeable Midwest accents. A short walk to the ocean was a bonus. Underground parking via the alley access made getting there a breeze.“

I ordered a pizza, and coming from a family that owned a pizza shop, I can tell you that their fresh dough and sauce are top-tier. My husband ordered the chicken shawarma with truffle fries, and it is hands-down one of the best shawarmas in San Diego. They include pomegranate seeds in it—if you know, you know!

We also had an amazing appetizer that is an absolute must-try. The server Yousif was fantastic; the owner and staff made sure to check on our table throughout the meal.

They are almost nonexistent in the salads now. Lately, the pizza has been burnt or undercooked, super bummed about that, and hoping the consistency returns.“

This makes it very difficult for the Campstore to stay in business. All the things they do for the holidays and Jurassic Animals for the kids, this cost a lot.
