There were only 2 employees working the night I came. For 1, it was their first day. But all the same they helped me find good tasty pizza. It came out hot and fresh too. The dessert was the best part. Super tasty and I'll definitely be coming back with friends. :)“

“We were shopping in Encinitas on a Friday night when I spotted the front signage for Forchettaboutit Pizza. We decided to stop in for a couple slices. The joint was jumping on this Friday night and we had to wait a few minutes for an inside table. They do have outdoor patio heaters but it was still too windy to dine outside.We chose the white pizza with chicken and caramelized onions and their meat lovers pizza, and the Caesar salad with chicken. Everything was delicious.The salad was one of the best I've had. The meat was warm, so it was cooked to order and not refrigerated. It was juicy and had great flavor. The chef knows his chicken.The pizza was great if you don't mind a softer crust. It had a wonderful bite and really good char on the underside. Seasoning was great and the toppings looked fresh and really generous.Our waitress gave us a small ramekin of their marinara and it was sooo good. I will definitely try their pasta next time I'm in Encinitas.Service was excellent. All the waitresses had high energy, were fun, and very attentive.The only draw back was soda was from a can so no free refills.“
“Great place to get brick oven wood fired pizzas! Amazing selection and variety of options. Loved their appetizers as well - risotto balls with prosciutto and parmesan cheese, and fried ravioli with ricotta cheese. Their beer selection was great as well - a lot of nice local beer on draft. Loved the Choco porter :) and the dessert, butterscotch pudding, is to die for!!! If you are ever in the Encinitas area and love pizza do try, and you won't be disappointed!!!“
“One of the best pizza places I've been to! I spent the weekend in Rosarito with family and on the way back I got hungry and stopped in Encinitas. The dispensary next door is the reason this establishment caught my eye in all honesty. Best decision I made was choosing this restaurant over the others that were crowded. We ordered the Mr. Moto and the California love pizza slices as well as the stuffed garlic knots. What made the pizza the best was honestly the service provided by the employee Leo. He went above and beyond to help us choose what we liked. He cooked everything and made sure it was fresh, and not overcooked. He also didn't disappoint in the choice of beer to go with my pizza!! On top of that he even checked up on us to see what we thought of everything. What else can you ask for?! BEST PIZZA AND BEER COMBO! CANT BEAT THE PRICE!!“

“I worked there is high school, and loved it. RALF HAS A BIG HEART AND TREATS HIS STAFF LIkE FAMILY. I LEARNED ALOT ABOUT, WHEN A BUISNES IS RUN LIKE A WELL OILED MACHHINE AND EVERYONE HAS EACHOTHERS BACKS THINGs RUN SMOOTH AND MINIMIZES THE STRESS OF A FAST PACED environment. “Bestawan is a super casual, super chill place where you get to spend time interacting with the surrounding community. Locals, would be locals and visitors have always come to Besta because it's a cool place to hang out and enjoy the beach community. Even better is, with the new owners, the food has become off the charts good. The Italian Beef is becoming the signature dish and the burger is one of the best in town but my personal favorites, at the moment, are the Detroit style pizza (the layer of baked parmesan around the crust is simply genius) and the shrimp scampi with Calabrian chili butter is just redonkulous. Seriously, I could/would do shots of that butter. There is now a rotating weekly specials menu that has been creative, delicious, and keeps me coming back just to see what's new (some recent examples from the specials menu: curried carrot & coconut soup, truck stop beef chili, steak frites, moules frites, house made cannoli's etc. etc.). They also now have an excellent wine selection on top of their traditionally excellent beer selection. I have always loved to hang out at Besta but with the new ownership it is easily my favorite restaurant in the Del Mar, Solana, Cardiff, Encinitas, Leucadia corridor.“
“I wish I could've brought my brotha here because he's from Chicago, he would've loved it! A total Chicago atmosphere and food to go along with it. We had the deep dish pizza which we were not prepared for. This pizza was massive and delicious. We also tried a couple of appetizers which my boy told me do not do prior to a deep dish pizza. Now I know Lol. We will definitely be back to this place when we come back to SoCal. The staff was amazing as well and we believe even the owner came out and said hello to us if you're in the mood for pizza, Make this a must visit!“
“Parking can be a little challenging but with patience you’ll find a spot.Food was great! Service as well.It was a double date. We shared a large pizza and a the Apple walnut salad among the 4 of us.
