“I just happen to be in the area and came across this cute little wine store and tapas restaurant. I love the warm and inviting atmosphere, very clean, and the staff was friendly, dressed nicely and attentive. My friend and I ordered some delicious Zinfandel and the hummus plate was excellent. I'll be back.“

“I think the best way to start this review is to be honest about my obsession and the chokehold this place has on me. It's borderline unhealthy at this point. I can't seem to stay away. LOL. No but seriously, I am completely and utterly in-love with this place. I am a huge sandwich person but so I am particular about where I go. Has to ya know, check alllll the boxes etc. Ernie's has stolen my sammy-heart. I believe I've had every single sandwich on the menu at this point and I enjoyed every single one of them. If I HAD to choose my favorite sandwich, they would be these:
-Italian on Dutch crunch roll
-Crispy chicken caesar on Dutch crunch roll
-Curry chicken salad on focaccia
-Tuna on sourdough ( always add the hot pepper salad)

*I love the dutch crunch roll for any of the sandwiches but the focaccia also steals the show quite often.

I've been here for dinner as well and my recommendations would be:
-Charcuterie board
-Bruschetta boards ( you pick 2) but my faves are the prosciutto one (the prosciutto is chopped up super small so it's perfect and not all stringy like it can be at times) which comes with mascarpone, pistachios, arugula and lemon curd. My other fave is the brie, green apple with honey and sea salt. Another thing to mention is I'm not a huge brie person BUT I adore it if it's triple cream brie. This my friends, is triple cream so it's fantastic.
-The fries are also fantastic and the chocolate chip cookies are fire. I'm not even a sweets person but I inhaled it when I tried it. It was delish.
-Italian chopped salad- so good and really light but somehow filling at the same time. In the best way possible. I get it all the time.

They have a huge wine selection both at the bar and in their fridge section which you can browse while you're in line. They have a wine club as well!

I always love a more local mom n pop type place in general vs chains and this place is just a vibe no matter what time of day you go. The word is definitely out though so it can get busy so cozy up at the bar for a cold one while you wait if you run thirsty like me, ha! Or they have plenty of outdoor seating if you want a nice breeze. The owner is rad, the entire staff is sweet, accommodating and overall they just absolutely nailed it here. Go see what all the hype is about, you'll leave with a full belly and a smile.“

“My husband and I have been here for the very first time and we immediately fell in love with this place. The staff is amazing, they know how to treat you and make you feel at home. Alice is very passionate about her job and we loved her homemade desserts sooo much. A special mention to Michele, a very young yet extremely professional waiter, who contributed to create a cozy and pleasant atmosphere! As Italian, I can say it's hard to find place such Alice's where you feel so vividly the warm of our country. We will definitely come back!“

“Wonderful little wine bar! We loved our Chardonnay. Nice assortment of wines. Almonds and olives were great. We were curious about the orange wine but didn’t want to order. Our server, Feliciano, was kind enough to bring us a small sample before we left so we could taste which was very thoughtful.

Only reason I give atmosphere 4 stars is because it’s very loud inside. Other than that, it’s great! Outdoor patio is lovely if you can snag a table.“

The only food downside ( which is why I gave Food a 4 out of 5 rating), is their Ceaser salad...it is consistently bland, really watery, and tasteless...such an unpleasant surprise given that ALL of the other salads are so delicious, and ALL of the other food is delicious. Rosina, PLEASE update the Ceaser salad..it is really awful.“

“I wanted to surprise a special couple with two bottles of wine--one specifically for her and one specifically for him. I surreptitiously found out that they like going to La Costa Wine Co. and that Connor knows their profiles. So, I called the shop, asked for Connor, and explained what I wanted to do and who the bottles were for.

Ten stars to Connor! His passion for what he does was palpable through the phone. Almost immediately after I told him who I wanted to buy wine for, he told me they'd just walked into the shop. He went into a different room so they wouldn't overhear our conversation. Connor asked me about the price range I was interested in, we discussed a few options, and we landed on a red and a white that he was confident my friends would enjoy. When I asked if they like to munch on anything while they're drinking their wine, he said, Yes! The truffle popcorn. So, I added that to the order. The next day, I picked up the bag with the bottles of wine and the popcorn, and delivered it to her where she works. The best part of the surprise was that my friends loved the wines and, of course, the truffle popcorn!

My next visit to this shop will be to sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine :)“

“Went for some beer and food with my husband. The beer was from Barrel and Stave and was great tasting. Had a burger from Baby’s and those were both good too! Definitely coming back“

“Amazing view, but the place was so incredibly loud inside. Luckily, they also have a self service deck on the side of the restaurant and my party just moved out there. I got the happy hour burger and Mac and cheese. Unfortunately, the burger was very salty and the Mac and cheese didn’t really have much cheese on it. Someone else in my party got the fish sandwich and it was amazing!

Update:
Went back for happy hour and got the fish sandwich, unfortunately there really wasn’t much fish at all in my sandwich, this photo was only after a couple of bites. However, the sandwich was really yummy. I also tried the bean dip, it was ok, pretty lemony and not really my thing. They also only gave 3 tiny slices of bread and a couple of chips to eat the dip, which was not enough to eat the dip. I also got the fries and they were amazing. Overall, I really like this place, I just wish they were a little bit more consistent.“

“Crust & Brew is a great spot to chill, watch sports, or get together with friends. Their happy hour deals are great, and everything on the menu has been great! I’ve had the pasta, pizza, and finger foods. Nothing I’ve had has been bad yet.

All the girls are very helpful and great at engaging with the guests. Definitely give it a try, and you’ll turn into a regular as well 😎“

“A really good Italian restaurant specializing in traditional pizzas with fresh ingredients. We were glad that they had vegan friendly options for one of our guests with allergies. Seafood linguini was tasty and the lamb shank entree was generous and rich. Quiet on a Sunday lunchtime and service was quick and efficient. Will definitely come again!“

My wife and I were looking for a place to get some food prior to a concert at the Belly Up and came upon this great little restaurant. The Sushi chef was very personable and friendly and even educated us on some of the Sushi rolls he was preparing, while we sat and ate at the Sushi bar.“
