I was on a (work) trip with friends, the kind of trip where we end more nights than not with an ice cream cone and a pleasant walk through town. Stumbled upon JoJo‘s one night. Everyone chose their flavor and their cookie and we all sampled each other’s – like true foodie friends do!

I chose Cayenne Sea Salt Caramel. It was soooo good that we went back the next night… and EVERYONE chose Cayenne Sea Salt Caramel.😋

“Absolute 10/10 taco spot! Everything was so fresh, and full of flavour. Big bonus points for being organic. I was torn between the shrimp and Baja so got both, but would have preferred the Baja fish tacos all in. I would say they were in the top 3 I’ve ever had while in California! Menu was huge too with a lot of selection. Tortilla chips were perfectly cooked, and I regret not buying a bag before leaving. Hot sauce selection (which they bring to your table) was also fantastic, and a perfect addition to the beans or chips if you’re into a bit of spice. Absolutely recommend hitting this spot up when you’re in the area. Seating can be tricky when it’s busy, but definitely worth the wait! Also dog friendly which was a bonus 😊🐾

“Amazing food!!! We got a few things on the menu today. We got the firebird , cali dip , kids meal chicken nuggets . Let’s start with the firebird .. amazing sweet and spicy taste with big nice pickles to maintain the heat overall recommend this sandwich . The Cali Dip was delicious sweet and so much flavor I’d have to say one of the best “Tortas” I ever ate . The fries are the best !!! Sauces are so yummy. Everything was about $47 but SO WORTH IT!“

“The top sections on the menu are 100% plant based, and the second half has meat options. It sounds like they used to be fully vegan, so it’s disappointing they added meat to the menu. I enjoyed the Munchwrap and the smash burger was pretty good. Next time I hope to try the flatbread—they currently have one plant based flatbread on the menu.“

“We were looking for breakfast at 1pm and this place delivered! Breakfast, lunch and dinner food. Everything we ordered was amazing and had a slightly different take on what I normally expect. The homemade biscuits were great with their gravy. I'm from the Fresno area but will make an effort to stop in again when I come back this way.“

I always get their chicken tandoori and the mushroom tikka masala (which they can even do vegan). Highly, highly recommend for comforting, warming dishes. Beats Indian food to me!“

I am so pleased that I found Sugarbears Sweet Provisions, not only was the customer service excellent, the cake was created just as I imagined and was absolutely delicious!! “Indian/Nepalese cuisine is one of my favorite cuisines. I am South African and grew up eating eating variety of traditional curries and stews. I travel a lot for work and have had the fortune of trying some of the best Indian restaurants in the nation, including dozens of places in SoCal. Everest Himalayan Cuisine is by far, the best restaurant I've ever been to. This cozy casual restaurant opened in November originally for take-out. I am a big fan of dine-in, so I was excited to find out that they recently opened for dine-in. I came with my best friend (we're always looking for new favorite restaurants). We decided to get a couple things to share. Started off with the Lamb Momos. They were such a wonderful treat. For Entrees, we went with the Lamb Tikka Masala and the Butter Chicken with Cilantro Garlic Naan. While eating our Momos, an adjacent table received their Tandoori Chicken and Lamb. It smelled and sounded so good, we decided that we would have to order more (we also ordered Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Tandoori). Our food came, and when I dipped my Naan into the sauce, I nearly cried it was so good. It reminded me of a better version of my grandmas famous Tikka Masala. It's was then, that I knew this would become my new favorite place. It was so flavorful and luscious. All the meat was so tender. The Naan was supple, while pillowy and stretchy at the same time, (clearly proofed perfectly). Every dish we tried was the best iteration of the dish I've ever had. I usually order my food quite spicy (9-10), but if you like a flavorful warm heat, get a 5 to 7. We ordered another order of the Cilantro Garlic Naan to get every bit of the sauce. I know I'll be back soon. I really would like to try more of their dishes and their desserts. They also have a nice Lunch Special, I'd like to try. “My first time getting a burrito here at Serranos I may have just found the best deal in all of San Diego. I’m not sure how long the special is going on, but they have a shrimp Diablo Burrito that is bigger than my forearm filled with the most delicious sauce and shrimp and rice and beans for only eight dollars. I did not think it would be good for that price, but I was starving It not only was huge, but it was the best shrimp burrito I’ve ever had!“
