Visiting in Carlsbad, I was very happy to see there was an Urbane Cafe in Encinitas. I had my usual, the Salmon Salad. Somehow the salmon came in broken pieces versus one whole piece of filet that I remember getting at Urban Cafe in Pasadena.My husband had the BBQ steak sandwich. The sandwich size was little small. But the side salad was tasty. This place is conveniently located inside a shopping plaza.

Cold rainy day and first visit ever, dropped in for some soup but then decided to add a sandwich. They offer a soup and salad combo, but unlike pretty much everyone, they don't offer a half sandwich with soup or salad. I thought I saw half sand w/ salad but I guess I read it wrong.
