I believe our server was Henry and he was absolutely excellent! He had a wonderful personality and perfect customer service skills. “First visit, I had the Chimichurri Tri-Tip plate ($20.95).
The tri-tip was very good, nicely done. Good flavor and good serving size. Chimicurri sauce was also very good. The fries were served hot and crisp, mixed grilled veg serving was very small, focaccia bread (not shown) was fresh.
The counter service was slow, we were ignored for too long, with no acknowledgement.
We sat on outside patio area, staff was slow to clean tables (there were crows feeding off the leftover plates).“

Rancho Bernardo has quite a few great spots to try and Hoorahs Breakfast Cafe is jus another addition to the options. We had our breakfast outside. Had umbrellas and plenty of tables. The omelets you can't go wrong with. Lots of egg n meat n everything I like in mine. There were cheese ones and veggie choices. They also substituted the toast or muffin for a pancake. Huge and delicious. And if your looking for a little south of the border taste gotta try the Chilequiles. They can make themselves a tasty dish of Chile Chilequiles. But look out for that spice. Has a kick to your taste buds. Service was great. They let us choose in or outside and which table we rather. Food came quick and drinks were great. Their berry smoothies were perfectly done. Typical menu of burgers, chicken sandwhiches, fries, milkshakes, etc. The burger and chicken patties are delicious, especially the buffalo chicken sandwhich. In fact, all of their condiments are so good I wish I could buy large containers of them for home. Oat milkshakes are fantastic. This Escondido location is take out only, ordered through the app.“

“The food is as good as it looks! I couldn’t believe it when my parents asked me if I wanted to go to a Revolutionary War tavern replica & museum near the beach in northern San Diego. Like, huh? But the building reminded me of growing up on the east coast, and the museum reminded me of how lucky we are to have this country & those who fought for it. I loved the cozy interior with brick and wood. My parents are regulars, so they know the server, and he was super nice. They have a great Old Fashioned, and we all got the Seafood Trio (mine with double cod). The fingerling potatoes were to die for. It was all delicious. Amazing Caesar salad, too. Definitely had leftovers. Excited to go back for their happy hour. Can’t wait to try wagyu sliders, mussels, and clam chowder. Seriously, it all sounds good. Definitely worth a trip! “More than just a Bahn mi shop. Cali Baguette is an authentic Vietnamese eatery. Besides an amazing selection of sandwiches (btw you can actually smell the fresh baguettes being baked!)
