ADDISON BY WILLIAM BRADLEY Reviews
Dining at Addison is an experience I recommend as something everyone should enjoy at least once! The food is unlike anything I’ve ever enjoyed before paired with service that is second to none! Chef Bradly and his entire team are warm and welcoming in a way that makes you feel like you’re the only person in a restaurant full of people. I cannot wait to go back! Until next time!
Still thinking about our dinner at Addison—yep, the Michelin 3-star tucked inside Fairmont San Diego. Total bucket list moment! The uni chawanmushi and caviar rice? Unreal. Vibe was cozy-luxe, service was flawless. Took 4 hours and I’d do it all over again. ✨🍽️💛
The service was excellent. That said, the food was very overpriced and marginal. $6000 for 6 people. The wagyu beef one of us ordered was $750 for about 3 square inches of meat, if that. Add truffes and the basic wine service for 3 of us and 3 cocktails, and it comes to 6 grand. Wow. I would have been much happier at a nice steakhouse with a ribeye, potato and glass of wine. Addison By William Bradley offers a remarkable dining experience characterized by exceptional service and a thoughtfully curated menu. Guests describe the atmosphere as elegant yet welcoming, with plenty of space between tables, creating a quiet setting perfect for conversation. The service is consistently highlighted as five-star, with knowledgeable staff who take the time to explain each dish in detail, enhancing the overall experience.
Reviewers praise the tasting menu, which features dishes like Sake Cured Kanpachi, Pear, Ginger, Sake Sorbet, and Koshihikari Rice with Smoked Sabayon and Caviar. While the flavors are generally delightful, some diners feel that the menu does not consistently reach the heights expected of a three-star restaurant, viewing it as closer to two stars. However, the standout dishes, such as the chicken liver churro and the white truffle addition to the berry tart, have left guests in awe.
Overall, Addison is seen as a beautiful venue for special occasions, offering an unforgettable evening filled with culinary delights and excellent service. The passion of the staff, from the bar director to the sommelier, adds a special touch that makes dining here a treasured experience. Addison By William Bradley is celebrated as a true gem in California's dining scene.
