Great appetizers but the entres left a lot to be desired. Staff was very attentive and accommodating.
We live in the area of Fairmont Grand and have been to Amaya several times for brunch or breakfast. Regretfully, their service time has been awful every time. It is unfortunate because it's right by our house and it's just a beautiful facility, but they consistently fail to deliver proper service and proper timing for their food. The service is so kind and attentive, it's one of our favorite places. The food is fresh and simply good. Definitely sit out on the patio if it's nice out!

Guests can enjoy the BEST omelettes, made French style, such as the Boursin cheese omelette for brunch and the San Diego omelette for breakfast. Mains are highly praised, with favorites like the steak, flavorful steel head trout, and an impressive duck, all served with amazing sauces. The broccolini side is also very tasty. Visitors often mention the brioche bread with butter as a standout, described as very special even by those who don’t usually crave bread. The Croque Monsieur is considered the best ever, and the Prawn Toast and Steak Frites received positive comments, despite some dishes being served lukewarm. The outdoor setting is beautiful, perfect for enjoying meals in a relaxed atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive, with some comments about it being slow at times.
