“I have had many great experiences here. I usually sit up at the bar and the staff are all super knowledgeable and friendly. One thing to note is that it can get really crowded on days that are sunny/summer days when the beach is crowded. This goes for all of downtown Encinitas. Lots of people bring their dogs as well so that is a huge plus“
“Where to even start with this bakery! Wow, I had Barbara cater the desserts for my wedding and I am so thankful I did! I wanted gf, vegan, no processed sugar, and no refined oils in my desserts - that still tasted amazing. And Plantiful Kitchen deliver! Barbara was so kind and helpful with planning out my desserts, we even had a fun tasting with my family and maid of honor. She made the process so easy and exciting - and was always for responsive. She provided donuts, cookies, the cutest mini cheese cakes, and truffles. And every single one was delicious! The desserts were a highlight of the wedding, my guests couldn't stop talking about them that evening - and to this day they keep saying they were the best desserts they have ever had. The nachos were filling, very tasty, crunchy ‘chips” which I was worried about since they were not the standard corn. We got a few deserts to go but I tasted a chocolate one and it was very very tasty! I was going as a favor for my friend, but I was pleasantly surprised and impressed!!“
“I love Phatties. So amazing to have a long menu with so many options, all vegan. I recommend the enmoladas and carne asada tacos. Keep in mind the serving sizes are huge here. Food is great and but the dine in is a bit run down looking, but that's part of the Phatties vibe, and it fits in with the post-apocalyptic vibe of present day downtown Escondido with its numerous mostly empty dilapidated strip malls.“

The bacon was not my favorite though, so i wouldn't get that again. But the cheese was also 10/10!! The service was super fast (about 10 min from ordering to receiving it). Choice has the best protein powder so far. Does not take away from the flavor of the smoothie, but adds to it.Jinda is kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. “Really nice customer service! They help you decide on a fresh juice and advise you on their specials. I like that you can buy their juices in local grocery stores like Albertsons and Vons.
