Great sushi place. The cuts were exceptionally fresh and premium quality. I also appreciated the thoughtful finishing touches and topping. Those little details really elevated each piece and brought the flavors together. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly and attentive table service.
I live in Mira Mesa, and there's plenty of sushi closer to home — but I still make the drive up to San Marcos for Sushi On, because honestly nothing local compares. It's just the best sushi around, hands down, and they're consistent about it every single time I go.
