Starbucks Coffee Company is a favorite stop for people on business errands, offering a place to relax or work. The staff is amazing and super awesome, with baristas like Gilian and Kylie correcting issues and making drinks perfectly. Amy is described as sweet and amazing, providing rare, exceptional service. The location in San Marcos has exceptionally friendly staff; one customer received a whole board of six stickers from a spring special drink promotion. Fast drink preparation means no long wait times. The atmosphere has a minimalist vibe with plenty of space, seating, and lots of tables to work at while enjoying a coffee or snack. There is also an outdoor patio and great AC. Staff has always been friendly and made orders correct, never having a problem customizing drinks. However, some customers have experienced issues with new-hired staff training, receiving wrong orders like Brown Sugar Espresso instead of Hazelnut Espresso, and confusion about earning extra points for using personal cups. Overall, it is a great Starbucks with tons of free parking, conveniently located near big box stores.
