“We came here as part of San Diego Restaurant Week and were very pleased. Went with the recommended menu items and loved it. Had the Republic burgers, pretzel bites and carrot cake. being a Coen Group Restaurant, no chance of disappointment. Highly recommend!Definitely going back!“

“We like this place and the food is good but kinda pricey but everywhere it seems that way. A fair warning... we went for Thursday Karaoke night and reserved a table an hour before it started and planned on eating dinner and having drinks. Upon being seated, we were told we needed to order using our phones. We're seniors, so it's not easy for us, but we managed. We were also told that if all tables fill up, if we've been there longer than others, we would need to give up our table to others on the wait list. This meant standing which, with my mobility issues, is a problem. We mentioned this and the host said they would try to accommodate. As it turned out, we didn't end up needing to move but worried about this the entire evening. She said it's rare that they have to have you give up your table but still is crazy to do that to a group that is eating and drinking. We finished our food but we still ordered beer. The place never got busy enough for overflow and the weather probably helped that. The table behind us got seated are us and was not told about the table seating situation. So be warned if you go on a busy night, this could happen. Overall the place is cool, with arcade games for adults and kids and outdoor area is nice. Staff is very nice. Food and drink comes out fast which is good.“
“While on vacation, my son took me here.Loved everything about it. Family owned and run. Chances of a family member serving you is great. Coffee was perfect, and the old-fashioned shredded hash browns were yummy. If you want to get in right away, go by 9 am. Otherwise, you may have an hour or more wait time. That says a lot about Mama Kat's!Miss you as I am back on the East Coast, but I will be back!Parking: Lot was full when I went but was able to find street parking before 9 amOtherwise, it may be challenging.“
“We enjoyed eating a t Amalfi Cucina for the first time. It's a family-friendly place.for thise with young children. The freshly-made pasta in our lasagna and fettuccine puttenesca was excellent! Hubby ordered the rib-eye steak, which was a very generous portion, cooked to his satisfaction. The capacious was a very small serving, the smallest I've seen anywhere. There were only two negatives, which were the noise level (we were there about 6:30 PM), and the prices, which I thought were high. Other than that, it's a good, authentic Italian restaurant.“
“A constant place of gathering for my coworkers and I who worked in the San Elijo Area. This time we met on a weekend for brunch. I ordered a Pannikin coffee and Cinnamon Toast French Toast. Really thick slices of French Toast, I’m kinda weird and prefer thin slices but this was still good. Others got an omelette or a wrap. Everyone like their food, service was nice, bit pricey but in line with the local restaurants.“
“Excellent service, good food and a nice variety of drinks. Pool tables and several screens to watch the games surrounding the bar counter. The chicken Tikka was nice the fish and chip so tasty and the my highlight is always the enders aka dessert. The sticky pudding was delicious! I'll bring guests whenever we're in San Marcos.“
“My first experience was awesome as was my Reuben sandwich - a friend introduced me to Mariah's for my 85th birthday! Now I want to have a second experience and you are already closed. Soooo, will have to see you tomorrow. Very glad to know you're right near where I used to live - but now am in Vista! ;-)“
“Food was good, we've been here before. Unfortunately the service was sub-par. No greet from the server... just walked up after quote a wait and said 'what can I get you'? Had to ask multiple times for the same thing from both the busser and server.“
“Had a wonderful birthday dinner at The Mining Company. Hadn't been to the new location previously, and it is even a little closer to home. Our server was a delight and attentive. The food was great, and I had a nice draft beer that our server helped us select. They brought a nice sundae for my birthday too.“
“This place has totally transformed and they serve really great food (the food has always been amazing but the ambiance is event better now)! We’ve had salads, corn, wings, burgers and sandwiches! We’ve brought our kids during the day, and it’s totally kid friendly. The owner, Pete, has been wonderful to us…we’ll keep on going for sure!“
“To begin. I am vegan and did not have high expectations. My family went here to allow our omnivorous mother-in-law a break from our menu at home. There were a couple of vegan or could be made vegan options. Plant-based substitutes were provided. They were tasty but overcooked. Probably due to lack of experience cooking plant-based proteins. The server was efficient, friendly, and prompt. The din of the other patrons conversations echoed off the near empty walls. This may seem like a very critical review, but I offer it as an opportunity for management to make some minor tweaks to improve the overall experience.“
“The Grill was able to seat our large party of 11 adults and two toddlers. Service was excellent -- all staff was friendly and professional throughout our meal. Very pleasant guitar/singer. Great views of folks on the driving range & beyond. We ordered a variety of meals, drinks, and desserts and everything was very, very good.“
“Randomly decided to check out the pub food options for lunch one day and was not disappointed! The bartender was very friendly and took great care of me while I waited for my order. I waited at the bar and the other customers there were also very friendly and we chatted about my broken hand lol. I can’t remember everything I ordered, but I remember the calamari fries! So good! I even came after work with a co-worker. We shared a Philly sandwich because we were still a little full from the pub grub I shared at lunchtime. Our server was great and the gentleman that picked up our table at the end of her shift, was just as friendly and attentive! I really enjoyed this place!“
“Great spot to come with your furry friends on the back patio. Very nice service and friendly staff. The chips and Guac with Queso is great. The salmon salad is amazing. And it's got the best layout in San Elijo, large inside restaurant and large back patio.“
“California born burger chain serving great burgers & sandwiches for a reasonable price. Order from self service kiosk machine, there are options to customize if you like. Staff here are nice and hardworking individuals, especially the tall young gentleman, he was hustling during busy lunch hours with good demeanor. There’s no substitute for quality!4.6/5 ⭐️“
“First time here after I kept seeing it on FB as a must go to. I’d probably go back. The flan was 5/5 alone! I really liked that. The chicken was fresh, moist and good. 4/5. Price is reasonable. 5/5. Beans were good. Salsa idk wasn’t a big fan. The rice was the disappointment from the entire purchase. 2/5 based on the amount you get and the visual but no flavor. Tortillas were good too not sure if handmade but 3 per pack is a good amount and size. The service 10/5, the girl at the register is bilingual and very nice. She’s also patient while I was trying to figure out what I was going to order.“
“Came here for a football fantasy draft and it wasn't too busy. Had a server and a trainee take care of us. Both were friendly and checked on our table often throughout the evening. Our food orders came out very quickly, we'll give the kitchen staff credit for that. The servers had another beer come out before we could see the bottom of our last glass of beer. Place seemed small but it wasnt packed so no big deal and there were tables outside as well. Wasn't paying attention to what was on the TVs but i think there was volume. Plenty of parking but its a busy shopping center so lots of traffic. Im not a fan of the food but ordered wings with dry rub (garlic habanero) and a sauce (parmesan garlic) for dipping. They were tasty but had no heat at all. Overall a good experience.“
“Can't go wrong with this place! And when the staff makes an effort to remember your name, greet you as you walk through the door, and all the way down to remembering your order...that speaks volumes! Been here once a week for the past 2 years and I have nothing but good things to say about the restaurant, it's food, the environment and it's staff.“
“Home style delicious cookingwith a warm, friendly environment. Portions are large!Plastic dividers added - friendly with large portions - hasn't changed!Nice to see the same staff - says a lot.Somethings never change.Thank you, Pegasus, for an amazing 2023 service, and we look forward to dining with you all next year!Parking: Easy access and plentiful“
