“Amazing food!!! We got a few things on the menu today. We got the firebird , cali dip , kids meal chicken nuggets . Let’s start with the firebird .. amazing sweet and spicy taste with big nice pickles to maintain the heat overall recommend this sandwich . The Cali Dip was delicious sweet and so much flavor I’d have to say one of the best “Tortas” I ever ate . The fries are the best !!! Sauces are so yummy. Everything was about $47 but SO WORTH IT!“

We had riesling, beer, spicy chicken wings, garlic noodles, and the yummiest over baked and glazed brussels sprouts. They gave us a booth and service was prompt, full of smiles and good will. We ordered the some Calamari for apetizer, Angus Rib eye, the Korean bowl, Carne Asada Tacos, and some The Norm Mac and cheese.
I'm from Argentina, and very picky and critical when it comes to steak. The only time a piece of beef blew my mind in my 16 years living here was in Amarillo Texas. This time was a VERY close contender for that spot. Perfect doneness, tenderness and juicyness (...), just needed a bit more salt!
My wife devour half of her Korean bowl before I was done with the third bite of my stake. She really liked it!
My daughter was affected by the heat level of the carne asada tacos, but our waitress was kind enough to take it off the check and we got her a Pub Burger instead, which she really enjoyed. Both regular and truffle fries were great. My zucchini needed another minute or two on the grill, a bit more salt, and im not sure balsamic was the best pairing for it.
We all loved the calamari and the Mac and cheese (again, bit more salt needed). And although we got there almost at closing time, the quality of food, portion size (we all took leftovers home, enough for a second serving), cost, and how well trained and kind the staff where, made the late dinner, on a Sunday, well worth the money. $138 before tip, and we got 20 off since we had a free appetizer for signing up for the Karl's club (or whatever their free membership is called, sorry!).
So $118 total, I'd say is a winner.“

But what really differentiates this place is the warm and gracious service. I forgot by AirPods, and the team bent over backwards to get them back to me. “My family and I LOVE CPK especially in Encinitas. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly especially the manager Manny. He goes out of his way to make sure you love your food otherwise insists on replacing it. Atmosphere is good. The only thing is seating capacity is not huge. It is so worth a try if you haven’t tried it. Something for everyone. I am soooo picky about pizza but this is the only pizza I like that’s placed in a hearth oven with flames and the salads are excellent especially the barbecue chopped chicken. “What a great restaurant at the Bernardo Winery. It's the perfect place to meet up with friends for lunch before walking around the cute winery and do some shopping in the boutiques on site.

There are lots of outdoor tables to choose from and most are shaded. It opens at 11am and it was busy soon after. We went on a weekday too.
You can get wines from the tasting room or delicious coffee from Manzanita next door.

You order from the counter and your food will be delivered to your table. Everything we had was delicious though the pizza was a little on the burnt side from the wood fired oven.

Parking: There are two small parking lots and plenty of street parking.“
