“Chicken Plus will always have a special place in my heart. I still remember when my dad used to take me here back in elementary school — it was our go-to spot for a delicious meal and some quality time together. Every visit was a treat, and even now, all these years later, I keep coming back.

The food is just as incredible as I remember — always fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. But what really sets Chicken Plus apart is the heart behind it. Syd, the owner, is truly one of a kind. Every time I walk through the doors, I look forward to seeing him. He greets everyone like family and makes you feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to find a place where the food and the people are equally amazing, but Chicken Plus nails it every time.

“Our first time here today May 3,2025 and we didn’t have to wait - There was plenty of seating . We sat on a booth and it was so cozy.
I had coffee ☕️ and creme and we both ordered the Denver Omelette with the side of hash browns/ house potatoes were delicious!
I also had a side of pancakes and a waffle 🧇 all the food was made fresh , was hot , and definitely made with lots of love !
The place was clean and well put together!
Our waitress was Liz and she did great !
She was very good and helpful with our choices !
Definitely recommend this place !
We will be back soon !

“iI you are looking for a fun atmosphere with yummy food and drinks, this is your place. This was our impromtu date night and we will be back. We had riesling, beer, spicy chicken wings, garlic noodles, and the yummiest over baked and glazed brussels sprouts. To top it off, we ordered the bread pudding cream brulee and I must say the flavors of the vanilla ice cream, bread pudding, chocolate, and creme brulee all melts in your mouth. get ready for a party 🥳 in your mouth. Highly recommended.“

“We had a birthday dinner for my one year old son and the staff was so accommodating and friendly and as usual, the food and drinks were incredible! They put in my son’s food order right away, offered him berries for his birthday dessert and they didn’t rush us out (we were a party of 9). “Great location. Tons of parking. Great mix of indoor and outdoor! Fantastic Happy Hour 3pm-5pm HH. Good core beers, with addition of featured beers. I usually get Hefe, Follow the Sun, or Karlito. I usually come for HH for Wings. Wings are 10/10. Singed up with Karl Rewards and got a free App. Normal Menu items are a bit over priced and nothing special too me. Mac n Cheese is a bit over hyped.“

“One of our special date night places when in the San Diego area. Outdoor seating is great and food is wonderful. Rancho Santa Fe in the evening is quiet and you can just have a nice conversation over dinner.“

“What a great restaurant at the Bernardo Winery. It's the perfect place to meet up with friends for lunch before walking around the cute winery and do some shopping in the boutiques on site.

There are lots of outdoor tables to choose from and most are shaded. It opens at 11am and it was busy soon after. We went on a weekday too.
You can get wines from the tasting room or delicious coffee from Manzanita next door.

You order from the counter and your food will be delivered to your table. Everything we had was delicious though the pizza was a little on the burnt side from the wood fired oven.

Parking: There are two small parking lots and plenty of street parking.“

“The best grilled chicken I've ever had! The seasoning is spectacular super juicy on the inside with that perfect golden crisp on the outside. Plus the grilled onions and roasted jalapeños give it the ideal touch. The place has a super cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. 💯% recommended!“
