“A toast to the New Year! What could be better than wine? A winery review, perhaps. Rancho Guejito opened its doors to the public five years ago.The property is made up of estate grapes and a grass-fed cattle ranch . The 32,000 acre rancho is part of a land grant from Mexico to the United States. The winery and vineyard offer tastings, which can be waived with a wine club membership. The cattle ranch provides for a portion of the food served on- site and they offer a meat program to take home. This has become my new favorite local spot to enjoy on the weekend. What is there not to like? Unique Varietals Wine Club (many benefits) Food On-Site Meat Program (beef variety) Live Music Hayrides (with wine pours) Open Seating Holiday Markets (change with each season) and Pet Friendly! “My family has been going here for years and my parents love this restaurant. We’ve tried everything from the curries to the Pad Thai to the the different soups. For our last visit we had a beef dish with white rice. Then we also got Tom Kha Gai Soup with one of the curries. Always a nice restaurant to eat at and the food is always good.“

“All the food we had was delicious. We ordered chicken kaarage and short ribs for appetizers which tastes amazing, and then for the main course, I ordered the yaki udon, which tasted phenomenal. If you're not the biggest fan of pickled ginger, I would recommend getting it on the side, but other than that, everything was delicious and the service was super quick for a fresh delicious meal.“

“I was passing through Escondido from Garden Grove and made a pit stop here for some much needed bánh mì. Bánh mì are some of my all time favorite foods and I eat them 1-3 times per week. Here in Garden Grove, there are probably about a hundred bánh mì shops. However, Son Tra was a delightful surprise because their đặc biệt bánh mì was amazing! I pate filling was generous and flavorful and the headcheese was an excellent addition. I haven’t had headcheese in bánh mì in a long time and love the texture. It was also perfectly seasoned. The carrots and daikon pickles were cut thick and provided great crunch and texture.What an awesome hole in the wall spot! Highly recommended. It was so good, I stopped by again the next day in the way back home.“

“Excellent! Saw it on maps and just decided to stop for lunch with the family. None of us had ever been there. First off large menu with a variety of dishes. Hospitality and service were amazing! Ordered the house made Mac n cheese with bacon, and split the Bacon -Avocado Burger and both were very good, everyone enjoyed the Mac n cheese that I reluctantly shared with them. Also, the onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. Everyone loved their food, Cheese steaks, meatloaf sandwiches and Seafood melt were all very good. Good beer and drink selection as well. “It's no secret there are some great wineries in/around North County San Diego, but this one is truly exceptional. Everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly and inviting, especially the owner who invited our 5-year old to help her round up the pigs on the property. “I'll be brief because I'm gonna run over there to get a beer. The couple that own jacked up and are the Brewers onsite really have grown in their number of beers. When they first opened. I was there and I thought the beer was a little green. I had the West Coast IPA, I decided to return in the last few months and was very surprised at the number of beers, added plus food items. Their customerCustomer Service is on top. I think this time of inflation we're wanting greater customer service. I'm talking to friends that are spending obviously a lot more money and businesses have to extend more cost to survive. How we can get through this is customer service and being kind to each other. These are difficult economic times where customer service, smile or a short chat makes it all worthwhile to go out to eat or have a beer or a wine whatever. They have a lot of interesting guitars on the wall. You could even take it down to strum it a bit. Sometimes there is the drum set on the stage. I've been tempted. I played the drums as a kid, but not anytime recent so I'm not ready to make a fool of myself, but it's there. They have live events, live music it's happening place. Again it's a friendly and welcoming place. This families is doing a great job on the brewery. Jeep pals, American legion riders, or Harley let's meet up? It's spring for beer!“

The ceiling is dirty, I know the exhaust hood isn’t working right because the place is always smoky (hence the dirty ceiling), and I could find an inspectors grade anywhere in the building (I honestly may have just missed it). BUT. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food is 9.5/10. And everything else is clean. If you have any kind of breathing problems you may want to wait to come here until they fix the exhaust hood.“

The menu had quite a few options besides sandwiches as well. We ordered a meatball sandwich and a pastrami. They come in 8 or 16 inches. I actually got a few meals out of the 16-inch meatball sandwich, so that was good. Their bread is perfect; not too crunchy and not soggy. It added to the flavorful meatballs (and pastrami) so that was nice too. We also got a pickle that they split in four so we could share. Really tasty. “This is an amazing winery. Stumbled upon this gem after spending the day at the Safari Zoo Park. Wonderful wines (didn’t taste a bad one and hard to choose a favorite) and ambiance. Loved it so much that we became members of the Thirsty Kettle Club and shipped 6 fabulous bottles home. We spent some time talking w the owner, Jeannine…so personable and a true class act. Sadly the on floor manager, Nick, now claiming to be the owner in today's conversation, will not honor a gift card our friend bought for us a few months back. Nick is very agressive, harsh, and sadly not a good face for this amazing restaurant. Our family has been eatting here for 3 generations ever since they opened. We have watched several sets of family member take over operating this family business, and have loved ever member prior. However, Nick is an unfortunate one. With a gift card receipt stating Nick's name, he denies selling a gift card to anyone but one person. Nick has unfortunately ruined our favorite family restaurant.
