The food was delicious and everyone was satisfied with their portions. The house green and red salsas are the best. “Ordered rolled tacos or taquitos, chicken. Delicious. Had no problems. Most places dont give you any sauce on the tquitos and are dry. I would've ordered extra sour cream but the sauce, gauc/sour cream sauce, was perfect. Personally i dont like guac so it mixed with crema was great. I Put lots of red and green salsa on it, so good. They were crunchy and crispy and full of chicken. Perfect. Havnt tried anything else but id go back for taquitos for sure.“

Of all the late night Mexican fast food in San Marcos, this Jilbertos is the best in our opinion. My wife especially enjoys the shredded beef they use in plates like hard shell tacos and rolled taquitos. I like their carne asada, usually in a quesadilla. They use fresh cheese and their guacamole is typically fresh, even late into the evening. I will definitely miss this Jilbertos when I move.“

“I live in Temecula but every time I head south to San Diego I stop here in Escondido the food's good and they haven't raised the prices. So outrageously high like most places you can get a bean and cheese burrito and a quesadilla for about 10 bucks and that's plenty of food“

“They finally got there draft beers right!!, all new hoses and maintance done to there draft system, they have a new happy hour adult beverage list. The Pacificos draft beer was very cold, crisp and fresh. Definitely going to go alot more often now“
