If you’re looking for excellent Mexican food in Escondido, this is the place!This restaurant has a cool vibe to it. The entrance looks like a volcano. Tried this place on the way back from Escondido. Food was good and staff were nice and food came out quick. Would have liked to have more chips and salsa but lunch crowd came in and they got busy.

My wife and I had lunch here recently while visiting from the L.A. area and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good and the lunch specials were reasonably priced. Service and ambiance were good. We would go back again the next time we're in Escondido.
