“Ate here for the first time last evening after driving past it many times up and down Oceanside Blvd. All I can say is "Incredible!!" We parked our car, walked into the grass carpeted area and felt like we were no longer on Oceanside Blvd. The area they have set up with tables, fame heaters and a large screen TV is great. It is immaculate, and actually cleaner than a lot of local restaurants I've been in. The young lady who helped us since it was our first time, was excellent. She was making sure the condiment area was supper clean, I could have eaten off of it, lol. She had a great smile and was very welcoming as she helped us with answering our questions about the menu. The food was excellent, and the portions were great. Pricing was excellent and we will definitely be back. Again, both the area and truck are immaculate and the cleanest I've ever seen. “Been going to this place since 2000. Great food, portions are huge and prices are on point. You get your food quick too and the folks there are always helpful if you need anything, for example if you need salsa or lemon, they will ask what they can get for you and get it as they are helping another customer. That is priceless. All of the above is the reason I make a point to eat here when I am in the area whether I’m hungry or not.“

“Came by Tacos Don Paco with my family and was honestly very impressed. First off, the salsa bar is solid — great variety, especially if you like spicy food. They definitely have some really good spicy salsa options that bring the heat and flavor.

My family ordered the carne asada fries, and they were done perfectly. Not overly saucy, no soggy ingredients, and the quality of the fries themselves was amazing.

I personally had three tacos:
• Tripa – 10/10
• Lengua – 10/10
• Al pastor – 10/10, loved the pineapple, it really made the taco pop

We also ordered a gordita de chicharrón, and that was very good as well — stuffed, flavorful, and great portions.

Overall, great food, good quality, and satisfying portions. Definitely a spot I’d come back to. 🌮🔥“

We finally got the chance to try the food in October of 2021; let me just tell you that the most excited I was about was to try the carne en su jugo and when I tried it I fell in love again because that is my favorite Guadalajara plate; it was so good I finished it all ; also tried the birria tacos omg those were so good too I really recommend this place; when we ate here they gave us a free jericalla and it was also so good!! I will definitely come back to this place every time I go to California it's gonna be our favorite place to eat in Oceanside. I was born in Oceanside so I was also excited to go back again to where I was born!!! You guys really have good customer service and really great food and also the lady at the front gave us some free stickers I think she's the owner but I'm not sure but we put those on my husbands truck in Alaska. Anyways I love guanatos city baby and happy 1st year anniversary!!“

“To be updated. Cocina Del Mar. Nice little family-owned restaurant in the Deep Valley. Corner of Douglas and North River Road. I’ve gotten a few take-outs from here. The traditional battered fried fish tacos are fine. They use double corn tortillas👍🏽👍🏽. I prefer their grilled fish tacos. Better are the mahi or salmon tacos. Recently, their pricing has jumped noticeably up to $9 for the salmon before taxes. Lol. So one day I just picked up a pound of salmon at Sprouts and made my own that lasted for a few days. Lol. Seriously, it’s a nice family-owned restaurant that I recommend. The bilingual ladies behind the counter are always friendly and helpful. One afternoon I actually stayed to eat there and was given a basket of tortilla chips and salsa while I waited. It was relatively quiet and peaceful after the lunch crowd. The place is clean, spacious, and relatively spartan. I didn’t check the bathroom, but I will next time. It’s a good indicator of a restaurant’s overall cleanliness. 4/5 stars“

“Stopped in on a Sunday evening about an hour before closing. We were the only inside table occupied. There were a few people sitting in the outdoor covered area. Service was pretty good. Food was excellent. I had a tasty margarita accompanied by the Fajitas de Baja seasoned and cooked to perfection.“

I took a picture because I was too embarrassed ask their names. There was also a Latina lady cooking I couldn’t get pictured. Whoever owns this business please know that you have three people who are working so hard. The cabeza was good and tasted fresh. The tortillas were average and and the red salsa was above average (I tried both verde and roja).

I’d rate the food here as average for the area, but still good. This is a decent spot to stop in for a quick bite, or a breakfast burrito. This is a fast food style authentic Mexican taco/burrito spot. If that’s what you are looking for, it’s a good place to stop in.
