“I purchased three cardamom buns from Anna’s stall at the Sunset Market in Oceanside. First of all, I was delighted to find them because you can’t find them anywhere in my state. Second, Anna was so lovely to chat to; so friendly and third, the buns were absolutely delicious. So light and sweet and the flavor of the cardamom subtle but fragrant - I’ve never had anything like them before but now I’m a big fan!“

“It was my first time in the store to buy a piece of cake to see the quality of it and see if it’s worth buying a birthday cake for a family member. It’s not the best quality, but it’s ok. The reason I took a star off is because the price showed at the displayed case does not reflect what was at the POS system. When I showed the cashier the price difference and asked why it’s not accurate, the response I got is “I don’t know.” Now I ask the question: how come the price displayed at the counter does not reflect the pricing at the POS system and what is the plan moving forward to correct this? Surely this is misleading to the customers.“
“As one who has celiac disease and has to stay on a gluten-free diet, I was so happy to find this bakery! The stores where we normally shop don't have nearly the selection Julian Bakery does, and from what I've tasted, it's well worth the money. We will be back!“

“We've been going to San Luis Rey for years now. I came to check to see if they were open late afternoon today and noticed some lady who bought 200 cupcakes and apparently thought an order that size would be baked that morning. It's unrealistic for a little bakery like that. We have had nothing but good food and service there and we've been maybe 200 times now. I've been there so many times I left my credit card there by mistake maybe 3 times now and got it back every time unscathed. Great to eat outdoors in the sunshine or shade. Reasonable prices. Love it.“
