“The kids that work at this location are young, think around 21. They're all kind and helpful, cookies always come out looking and prepared as they should. Team is useful, cookies are delicious, and it's located in a stripmall full of other food choices for lunch and dinner.“
“Born and raised in the south (so I know a great sweet potato pie when I taste one) and every other Saturday I would stop by the farmer’s market in Little Italy and grab a sweet potato pie from Boo Boo’s setup. They kept me stocked with authentic AMAZING sweet potato pie while stationed in SD for the last 3 years. Thank you!!“

“We happened to walk by this place on our east to the Thursday market right next to it. There were many people eating inside and outside on their patio. We walked in to order a quick breakfast at the register. We found an empty seating and they brought out our meals. My breakfast sandwich was on a butter croissant and it was delicious! I think the croissant was an alternative since they ran out of their other bread, so I would recommend ordering with the croissant! The bacon inlet was cooked too perfecting! Over all, great service, great food and I would rely good again. I wish I would have ordered some bakery Items to go to try it.“
“Obsessed is an understatement. Absolutely everything we have tried here has been phenomenal! The bacon/jalapeño croissants, the scones, pretzels, breakfast sandwiches and deli sandwiches... I have always been the type of person to stick with my regular order at places because they tend to be tried and true for me but I have no problem branching out here because I know the next pastry will be as good as any! The staff here is incredibly sweet and welcoming. I read about the triple tax on here which would make sense for my visit over their soft opening weekend when it somehow cost $60+ for two coffees, two pastries and a breakfast sandwich but I really appreciate reading about how they refunded customers who were accidentally charged such. Soft opening weekends can be chaotic! It's when businesses get a chance to work out the kinks before officially opening. We're really looking forward to buying their freshly baked loaves of bread & even more so towards their extended hours whenever that may come! Welcome to the neighborhood Blackmarket, we're delighted to have you here!“
“Small coffee shop inside Rising Co. (apparel store) with indoor/outdoor seating. Friendly service, clean & relaxing atmosphere with an array of options for caffeine and light bites + they allow dogs! I ordered their dirty chai, on the sweeter side but not too much, really nice spice and ginger coming through. I had to savor each sip because it was delicious! Other than Bohemian House of Chai in DTLA, this place knows how to chai. I would come back next time I'm in town.“
“Delicious tamales with a light moist masa. Chicken mole and tomato feta are my families FAVORITE! Very friendly staff and efficient service. I will drive to Oceanside if I am not able to buy at the Mira Costa College farmers market on Saturday. A little pricey, but worth every penny!“

“Traditional Mexican market experience. Love the food, the ladies that work there are super helpful. I have a sensitive stomach that acts up when I eat low quality or poorly prepared food, and not once have I felt sick after eating here! Not all of the employees speak English, but that's OK! Everyone there wants to help, and is confident to ask you questions to make sure you get what you want, even if there is a language barrier. Example of this was today my back was hurting, I went in for my breakfast and to buy some Tylenol. They got it all at the register for me, and I asked her how to say "back pain" in Spanish, to which the other lady who did not speak English came over and suggested instead of Tylenol I take Flanax. I took her suggestion and feel so much better, works better than my typical Tylenol fix, and I've never heard of Flanax before. She could have sold me the Tylenol, and that would have been fine, but she went out of her way to make a suggestion from her experience, and that shows compassion that I don't expect from a stranger.10/10, they will be seeing me most-every morning while I'm working in the area.“
“Yummy soft cookies!! We got a dozen:Fudgy Noel's (2)Classic Chocolate Chip (6)Peanut Butter Chocolate (2)Snickerdoodle (2)My family enjoyed all of them! If you’re looking for cookies that have that homemade feel and taste this is the right place?“
“We drive from San Clemente to eat the street tacos . My family loves it . They sell elotes Mexican style , bread . The best part is drinking a cold beer wile your at it .. They know how to make a real street taco with double tortilla just how you get them in Mexico. cash me outsii how bou that's!!!" We keep coming back any chance we get.. kids request this spot often so we make the drive to satisfy the buds lol“
“We went here right at closing. Not too many items left but we did try an almond chocolate croissant, and another pastry that tasted like a beignet donut (can't remember the name). Both were really good, especially the almond chocolate croissant. I never had anything like the almond chocolate croissant before. It was stuffed with so much filling, and had a nice flaky layers. There was also some nice carmelization on the outside. I would drive here again just for this pastry. The person working at the front was very friendly, and (I presume) French since she was speaking French to someone in the back. Definitely coming back here! Come early to get the best pick!“
“Arrived early in Oceanside for a state cup soccer game. Drove in from Bakersfield, 3 hrs, and wanted to eat breakfast before my daughter's game. Used yelp to find this good breakfast place. Good coffee, french toast, crepes, omelette(would prefer spicier salsa). You order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. There was a selection of delicious looking pastries. Yes, would come back.“
“I was recommended this place from a colleague at work and it could not have turned out any better. I walked in for an early dinner around 4:30 PM and was greeted promptly by one of the staff. Being so early in the day there were only three or four other couples in the restaurant. The quiet atmosphere, and the music was perfect. As soon as you walk in there is a festive environment with many treats on display in the bakery section. My meal, Chile relleno, was exquisite. I don’t frequently have the opportunity to eat traditional Mexican food, but this place brought my desire to perfection! Thank you once again for bringing me a wonderful evening of culinary excellance. highly recommended!“
“Decorated Smash - Strawberry Mousse Decorated 10" Square Cake - Berries & Cream w/ Tres Leches Syrup Simple Frosted Mini Cupcakes - Piña Colada & Orange Creamsicle Fondant Decorated Regular Frosted Cakes - Piña Colada & Orange Creamsicle I wanted to share my thanks to The Crimson Cake and Alicia for taking my detailed inquiry. She's quite the busy bee but it's for a reason as you can see, but was still able to assist me in person and or via email promptly. Aside from the detailed description of what I wanted for my son's 1st birthday, Alicia really had no questions henceforth. I also told her, "I don't mind what you do, I trust you as an artist." I was happy just looking through all the yelp and website photos that I knew my expectations were going to be met but boy was I wrong! Expectations beyond met!! I picked up all the goods as directed and honestly my exceptions were well met and then some!! My jaw dropped and I was at a loss for words. Everyone loved the goods! How it looked, and how it tasted. My wife is a picky sweets eater and I do not eat sweets at all, but after having The Crimson Cake's sweets(Rasp/Pistachio & Coconut Creme!), Im definitely returning. Thank you Alicia and team for making my son's 1st birthday a memorable one!!“
