This tucked-away gem delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the kind of place that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive. Their cocktails are refreshing and creative, fun twists on familiar drinks that really hit the spot.

The food is outstanding, both in presentation and flavor. We sampled about half the menu and there wasn’t a single disappointing bite. Do yourself a favor and order a bunch of plates to share. Every dish is worth trying, skipping anything feels like a missed opportunity.
What really impressed me was the price. For the quality of the food, it’s astonishingly reasonable. I’ve spent more on far worse meals and enjoyed select Michelin-starred places less than this one.

Lovely staff, delicious assortment of wines, very cool rustic decor and fantastic restrooms! Yes, I like to be pleasantly surprised when an establishment goes over the top and creates a wonderful restroom. We had a great afternoon here and would definitely return!“

“We were in town for vacation ordered on the phone and was told will be ready in 10 minutes. Drive to Oceanside. We were in Carlsbad, 16 minutes away. Only to be turned around because they have two locations. Called them back to confirm and food was ready but at that point I didn’t want my food food and also lost my appetite after a day at legoland. So maybe clearer address updates or something.“

“Smallish restaurant with tiny parking lot of about 10 spots shared between 3 businesses. Like the roll up garage door windows, lots of outdoor picnic bench seating under shade canopies (which we couldn't use on this rainy day). Beer selection is pretty good, we had the meat lovers 12 inch pizza and liked the thin crispy crust, a bit skimpy on the toppings but tasty enough.

Parking: I think 10 spots between 3 (?) businesses in this very small strip mini mall.“

“The tacos are so delicious, we had to go back and order more. The corn tortilla was nice and soft. Other places they're hard. And the meat was also soft. I've also never had a mushroom taco but tried one and it was also good. It was simple but grilled just right.“

“My husband and I have been coming here for 2 years. It is high quality every time, whether we eat in or get takeout.
I would say TenGu is just as good as any ramen place down in Convoy. Super authentic and family run! Go support them!“

“I love little off the map beer and burger joints. The Red Rooster has one of the best burgers in town. Top it off with a really cold beer and you’ve got me! If you are expecting fancy… this is not the place. It does have a classic old bar atmosphere, and that is what makes it great.“

“My husband was craving Indian food and it did not disappoint. He had tikka masala, rice and garlic naan. My husband asked for medium spicy. He really enjoyed it. I had the best chicken curry kabab that I've ever had. The chicken was so tender and the curry, was perfect. Not too much to be overpowering but not too little where you couldn't taste it.
The restaurant is a cute place that has counter seating or tables. You can eat in or outside on the patio. We ate inside because it was a little chilly for me. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. If you like Indian food, I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.“

“This place is a gem! Went in on a Tuesday night and was sat right away. The service was very warm and welcoming. Provided great service and recommendations.

Went with the pollo lomo saltado and took a pescado ceviche home. Wow! Both dishes were bursting with flavor and delicious!

“This is a nice little taco shop with an upscale feel. The atmosphere is simple but pleasant and clean. The service is good and fast. The salsa bar is well stocked and fresh, complete with spicy carrots. There is a generous selection of tacos, burritos, bowls, and other items on the menu. Unfortunately, despite all of these positive points, the food itself tasted rather bland and under seasoned. As far as the meats, I tried three: the carne asada was a bit too rubbery, the chicken was a little dry, but the al pastor pork was juicy and more flavorful than the other two. The food was certainly fresh enough, with nice presentation, but the overall taste was underwhelming, which is really too bad because there's a lot of potential here. Prices were a tad on the high side considering the lackluster taste. My overall rating is 4 stars due to nice service and atmosphere, but I can only give 3 stars for the food.“

We just stopped in for a bite to eat and a couple beers and we’ve now decided this place is going on our “must go again” list.
The atmosphere, music, vibes, friendly staff, welcoming environment.. everything was awesome!
We sat at the bar near the kitchen window and the HEAVENLY SMELLS coming out and wafting past us took me right to a beach bbq state of mind. Every single dish that came out looked tempting and delicious. And the lumpia rolls are the best egg roll of any kind we’ve ever had!

We stopped in for lunch. My daughter and I shared (D1) a wonton/dumpling and pork Ramen soup. The pork was so savory, and the broth was perfectly seasoned.
My son and husband shared fried rice and chicken. They cleaned their plates. You can tell they take great pride in their food.

“I went here to get some brunch, I ordered their surf n turf burrito, which I was not expecting it to be as good as I thought it was.
There was a wait for the food, but nothing too bad, within a reasonable amount.
The surf n turf burrito was a carne asada and shrimp, as most surf n turf burritos are, however this one had some roasted green peppers and rice, which made it all the better and unique from most places.
The restaurant itself can be a tad cramped, especially when it's busy. They do have some tables inside and outside if you wanted to eat there.
I would definitely recommend trying their surf n turf of you have a liking for those types of burritos.“

“My sister lives close so my mother has been racing about this delicious ocean Thai restaurant for years, we just arrived and I recognized the restaurant I came about 20 years ago and I have always remembered how good the food was. Still just as good drunken noodles, rib eye steak salad and atheir new Thai green tea is also a must order, I could drink this everyday day instead of my daily matcha. Clean tranquil great dining experience for the family. Don't wait come asap you will be happy our dinner and drinks which was a lot of food and we have leftovers about $36 plus drinks total less than $50 and worth every penny. We drove over 1 hour to get here and we will be back it was a nice surprise to see the place still looks clean and nice about 12 tables just big enough but quaint enough. It's been a constant flow of customers in and take out. That's always a good sign they recognize good quality food
