“We stopped by Darshan Bakery hoping to grab a cinnamon roll, but they were out at the time. We ended up getting the pull-apart cinnamon roll instead. The flavor was good, but I do wish it had been served warm or at least offered the option to warm it up. The bakery itself has a cozy vibe, we went at 9:20am, we’d definitely give it another try earlier in the day next time.“

“Only had lunch here two times but it was absolutely the best deli meal I have had and I am originally from Manhattan. The food is the best, generous portions, the staff is great, prices are good for today’s times and for what you get. We will be back!!!❤️“

“I never had ube Japanese cheesecake before. It is light and fluffy like sponge cake. I think it would be better with cream and fruits on top. The matcha cheese tart and black sesame tastes more like a traditional cheesecake. It was more on the sweeter side but so yummy. The basque cheesecake was delicious and more creamy.“

This spot is a super cute little shop that instantly screams elite bakery vibes. Watching the girls in the back hustle like true professionals was a highlight, beautiful to see that level of craft in action.

We grabbed a cake that was outstanding: perfectly moist with a light, balanced sweetness that let the all the flavors shine without overwhelming my tongue with sugar. Loved the thoughtful touch of the included little cutter kit, so convenient for easy serving.

This is absolutely the kind of place you return to just to try everything else on the menu. Highly recommend for birthdays or any special treat!“

“I consider myself a cookie connoisseur, and Nawal’s salty cookies are THE BEST in San Diego. My favorite is of course the OG Salty dozen or salty minis, but the Dubai Chocolate Pistachio is a close second. The little Salty minis in a jar make for a perfect gift. Try them, you won’t regret it, but you might become addicted!“

“Really solid cheesecake. The passion fruit is my favorite. I would love a bit more tang and a slightly thicker texture, but it is still delicious. We took it home and dressed it with fresh berries, which made it even better. Definitely one of my go-to spots for a special-occasion dessert.“

There’s usually a line before they even open each morning, and many items sell out by 10–11 a.m., so I’d definitely recommend arriving early.

There is a beautiful outdoor seating area surrounded in plants, flowers, vines. Friendly for little kids and all size groups. I wish i lived closer… but it was worth the drive to La Jolla. “Tasty Bakery absolutely delivers. The pork buns stole the show, stuffed with juicy pork, sweet onion, and egg with that perfect ratio of filling to fluffy bread. So much flavor in every bite. The coconut buns were just as incredible: soft, fragrant, and dangerously easy to finish in one go. You can feel the care in everything they bake. I'm already planning my next visit to work through their pastries and cakes, this spot is a gem.“

“Desserts and drinks all look really beautiful. I've tried a few of their pastries and drinks, and they're unique which helps them stand out. The teas were okay, syrups were a bit strong. Pastries were good buy maybe for someone else. They were just overly sweet we weren't able to enjoy the flavors. Had to wash it down every bite with water. That's really a preference, but just in case someone out there doesn't like super sweet desserts like us. Service was 10/10.“

“They made the best Swedish Princess cake for my mil’s 95th birthday. It was beautiful and such a big hit, everyone loved it. We had plenty left over to send people home with a piece, and we had left overs. It tasted even better the next day, as we were not stiffed from lunch! Amazing detail, texture and flavor.“

“Like a few others here, I am a native New Yorker with a love for authentic and delicious rugulach with proper and freash ingredients.Chewy's rugulach is the best there is here on the west coast.I pick up the chocolate rugulach at the cookie bar at Whole Foods Market in El Segundo, and you should too! Just the most delicious snack one could ask for. Love the raspberry (not usually a Raspberry fan of anything) and the apricot as well!“

“Hidden gem. I'm not sure why this filipino bakery has so little reviews as the bakery buns are so good (way better than 85 Bakery down the street) and only $1 per bun right now. The pan de coco (Bakery bun with coconut flakes inside) is so good. It is located inside the Vinh Hung Supermarket, just inside the left hallway after you enter from the main entrance. Cash is recommended but I believe they also take card. One of the best filipino bakeries I've been to in the US.“

“We love love love getting birthday cakes for our kids from Siavash at this Vons bakery! Over the past three years, we’ve purchased 4 different cupcake “pull away” cakes and they are so wonderful! Incredibly delicious, beautifully designed, and so clearly made with care. We generally share our theme with Siavash and he makes something that wonderfully adds to the party theme - we’ve had a flower party, a racecar party, a rainbow party, etc. Highly recommend getting your cakes here for your next birthday party! “The staff was great in assisting us. Sadly the mocha cake bar doesnt taste the same as the mocha roll or mocha square it lacks that distinct taste. The chiffon doesnt taste mocha color texture are so different so im very disappointed because its one of the cakes we have for xmas and no one likes it. After the third-party member picked up the order and did not deliver for almost three hours, I requested a refund for the melted ice cream which I received promptly.
